Love me some Bryan Norcross. Old FSU grad. Went through Kate in '85 and saved the day for so many when Andrew hit South Florida. Everything he said came true.

Mr. Norcross is a Legend!
@@fireboltaz I really really hope you're right about that. Unfortunately I don't have a good feeling about this one.
Bless you Bryan and thank you! In 1992, I was 13 years old when my family and I were living in Broward County, Florida during the night of Hurricane Andrew. For people who still had power and could hear your voice, you suggested that everyone sleep under a mattress to shield from any debris just in case their homes caved in because the winds were getting so strong. Although Broward faired much better than Miami-Dade and Homestead, it was still a frightening and intense experience. Your advice throughout that night saved a lot of lives and calmed a lot of nerves. Thanks again Mr. Norcross. I’m wishing those well during Hurricane Debby and any storms going forward.
No one cares
@@anonuser600 This was meant for Mr. Norcross and I’m at peace knowing he cares. His legacy will always be Hurricane Andrew and I’m just another random person thanking him over 30 years later for his dedication to the South Florida community during the storm.
@@shlyanth I was in pompano beach and I care. I also listened to him all night and he calmed me down as well. People who don’t know can never imagine the sounds of the tornados inside Andrew.

Homestead Florida Hurricane Survivor here ! 8-24-92 Bryan brought us through those dark early morning hours. We trusted him and what he asked us to do. Under a table in my mom’s kitchen against the wall between her kitchen and bedroom. There were 7 of us and our dog. It was the worse hurricane I’ve been in. There was very little left when it was over.

August- October ..The Real part of the season.
Thank you sooo very much for ur updating reports Brian. I’m glad to see you bc I trust ur reports more than anyone else’s!! You tell it like it is in understandable terms n explain when something may be confusing.
We live in the southwest portion of Florida in Venice so we’re very concerned about this tropical event!! We stayed here for Ian so we’ve experienced the worst though our damage was minimal!!
I know it’s difficult to make an exact prediction but hearing your reports makes me feel less stressed!! Keep up the good work n praying for anyone who has to face this one, fear of the unknown is the worst!!
This is why i live in ohio, never have to worry about no tropical storms.but im currently in Tampa on vacation
Oh no! What timing, stay safe

Underestimated how powerful the system will get. Shocker.

Seems like yesterday we were going through Andrew. Remember all the people standing on their roofs next to spray painted insurance info? That's when insurance companies overpaid in some cases and Florida building codes changed for the better. Fast forward, the insurance companies try not to pay even with the improvements. Even if you are not in a flood zone, get the policy to ensure that you get funds to rebuild.

Just because they forecast it to do something doesn't mean it will do that thing. Ask the folks in Houston about Beryl. It was supposed to come ashore in Northern Mexico as a tropical storm. But hit Houston as a strong Cat. 1 hurricane.
This is a strange storm!
Usually, the environmental pattern for hurricanes to develop is always there in the summer not unusual.
Wish I lived in Florida. They get all the fun.
Come on down! We'll take you in. As long as your not Nyc💪🏼🇺🇲
So odd these recent storms. I have lived in Florida for over 25 years. I never recall lighting being a part of these storms. Please prepare and be safe
Yeah, there was no lighting in old storms 25 years ago, it was just pitch black back then, I remember too! And if the storm knocked out the power, there would be no lighting inside either! be safe!
I think they are generating these storms. H.A.A.R.P. weapon. I have lived in Florida most of my life. It was never like this. We would have hurricanes but not one right after another and not every year. Into thin air channel shows where they are heating the gulf and Atlantic Ocean. Generating these storms.

My prediction, Powerful CAT 3 (borderline CAT 4) on landfall, get ready for the rapid intensification!
Ah, no. This will be a cat 1 hurricane. Stop with your nonsence
@@Jason-..- idk man. My calculations are hinting at a possible category 6 on landfall. 😅
@@Jason-..- You do know how rapid intensification works don't you? Hopefully your right, but i really doubt it, again, wishful thinking
@@FreedomtowerStudios rapid intensification of not, it doesnt have enough time to become a cat 3 or 4. This will be a cat 1 hurricane MAYBE- JUST MAYBE a low end cat 2
@@Jason-..- Doesn't have time? Right......so you forgot about Beryl then huh? That went from a Tropical Storm to a CAT 4 in LESS then 24 hours. And the water temps were just as warm as the waters are that Debby is about to enter. Again, wishful thinking but its gonna intensify PAST CAT 2.
And if im wrong, im wrong but ALL the ingredients (extremely warm waters and low wind shear) are there for this thing to become a monster, and with the time it has till landfall, its gonna be a monster dude. Just quit arguing about it
Good morning I am in Nassau Bahamas what's the weather like for us
Models have tough time predicting intensification esp. when the cyclone is moving over very warm water.

Being an amateur… that can read radar, and was able to see beryl. I tracked this… and so far, I’ve been right, maybe further west. We will see what happens tomorrow morning, because that’s the most important. But I think it could go west a little more
That's going to be a cat 2 to cat 3 before landfall.
@Rinzist23 Dang! You took my bet, lol. This thing might reach almost to a Cat4, as a very strong Cat3. Then hit the eastern seaboard as a Cat1 or 2🤔
Hope not, but you are probably right. Gulf of mexico warm to hot conditions just feed these big rascals!!

Call me a skeptic for suggesting there’s a political motive but for the second time this season the forecasters put the H of Hurricane right before landfall, even through by two to one the intensity models have Debby staying a Tropical Storm.
