    I like that they even have the pinouts printed on top. There is so much real estate on the top, more information and documentation makes sense.

      Oh man I'm glad you noticed :) I was going to point that out but forgot LOL. That is pretty thoughtful of them!

    Looks like they are making a good product at the right price point. Building a sizable battery and inverter solution is getting easier all the time.

    LOVE the 48V batteries. Let's move on from the 12V era!

    I love how neat and tidy that thing is inside and how many things it can talk to, gonna keep a eye to see how they last =)

    Any pre-charge resistors? Passive or active balancer? Any fire suppression packs on the inside of the lid?

    Glad it is the 51.2v (16s) ! (Some are doing 15s which is annoying and a lock-in trap, IMHO)

    • @BradCagle
      @BradCagle  6 місяців тому

      Agree, I've seen that. Very silly, makes you wonder how many times people have bought those 15s batteries to expand not know they're not compatible with their existing 16s batteries. Thanks

    Nice battery, I like the color touchscreen, looks like a Pace BMS, is that right?.
    But my preferred BMS would be the JK inverter BMS.
    I don't like that the cells are welded over the basbars and the cells are not replaceable.
    Are the BMS settings locked or can the user change them?

    • @BradCagle
      @BradCagle  6 місяців тому +1

      The touchscreen is a nice touch (pun intended :) It does kind of look like a Pace, but I'm not sure on that. As for the settings looks like only the protocols can be changed. Maybe I should try to connect with the pace BMS tools to see if it responds? Yeah, I want to try one of those JK inverter BMS. Thanks!

    Comparable in price to 4x 100ah 12v LiTime batteries. A few extra features. But we really need server rack batteries to come down in price. Brand new batteries are available for under$200

    • @BradCagle
      @BradCagle  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes, I agree. I think they will come down as demand, and competition increases. Thanks!

    EG4 batteries are cheaper. LiTime needs to get up to speed and lower their cost without lowering the quality.

    Is the CAN Bus adapter the same as the Victron Energy Interface MK3-USB (VE.Bus to USB)?
