For sale is a 1962 Porsche 356B vin: 210571. This vehicle came out of Visalia, CA and has had the same owner for over 30 years. An older couple drove this car all around CA to numerous car festivals and Porsche events. It was finished in its original Champagne Yellow #6205 paired with beautiful black leather seats. This car would make an excellent daily driver. It is by no means a show car but rather something you can enjoy and drive around without too much worry. The previous owner has a lot of previous service records taking this 356 to the same local mechanic for over 20 years. The exterior of this car is in very decent condition, the paint does have some imperfections as you will see clearly in the video. No sign of previous accidents. The nose of the car doesn't look altered. All the gaps look great and all the doors/hoods open and close as they should. The interior is the same way but overall in great shape. This car has never sat a day outside, always in the garage, and always out of the rain. But watch the video and see the condition for yourself. We are also open 7 days a week so you are welcome to come at any time and check it out. Mechanically it runs and drives great. The ride is smooth and sporty. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. The car can be driven wherever you like as it sits. It could use new brake drums in the rear but not immediately. The lights, radio, wipers, windows are all in good working order. There is one key that opens all the doors and turns the ignition. The tires are in good shape. This car holds a SALVAGE TITLE, the previous owner believes it was because of a theft, but it happened over 45 years ago. As mentioned, no sign of major accidents or structural damage. Very minimal rust. No rust on the floors or frame. I do not have a Certification of Authenticity, but I ran the block number and it appears to be date coded correctly to the car, I believe more than likely it is the original matching numbers engine. SAFETY TIP : Shut the engine down to check the oil level. The dip stick is awfully close to that spinning pulley.
