@@TomTuffnuts For sure. I've been wrong myself many times when it comes to NW. (and I've been listening to them since 1998) There's been so many artists/bands over the years where one often feel like "ok, I know what their sound is, no more surprises to be had". Not saying NW is completely unique, but they sure put me in my spot whenever I felt that "they cant surprise me anymore".
I'm happy you've been pointed in the direction of NW, they are more than just a band, they(and their music) are an experience. Enjoy the rest of your trip down the rabbit hole :D NW Army will continue to point you in the right direction.

The “FloorGROWLsm” . I was at the show in Tampa at The Ritz and in this song you could feel her growls rumble through your body! I don’t know if it was the mix or the acoustics of the venue but it was freakin epic!

I think you still have to listen to the more falk side of Nightwish. Try "I want my tears back" from Buenos Aires, "My Walden" from Wembley or "The islander" from Tampere.

I think you did notice the Floor growl at 3:33 and at the end . It'd be good it you said it so the fans know you know! You are spot on with the comments about the break downs and crowd participation! Check out the Buenos Aires concert!

Good reaction. Love this song. This one was especially written to showcase Floor’s skills. The growling/screaming for instance she does during the duet with Marco. She is amazing. They have a live tour scheduled. Have a ticket. Hope it continues next year. They have an virtual online concert at the end of the month. Thank you for this reaction.
Floor wasnt supposed to do the growling... Markko was. But it wasnt working and everybody was getting frustrated so Floor grabbed the mic and let out a thunderous growl that startled the whole crew at the table.

It keeps surprising me that she can go from the growling to that angelic part.... love your reactions, I think I had the same facial expression every time I heard a new nightwish song. There are so many great songs.... romanticide or song of myself (wacken). The song that makes me happy is Alpenglow but I want my tears back is also very uplifting. The live version of Buenos Aires is great!
Man, we are so there with you. American radio screwed us by keeping Nightwish (and so many other amazing International bands) out of the US music market. We were totally shafted!! 🤬

I have been listening to nightwish for about 6 years now, and I still feel like a kid in a candy store. Love to watch reactors doing their songs and laugh when they try to think of something to say. They leave you speechless. GREAT reaction

Yeah, one of the (many) great things about Nightwish is the variety of music they create. From really light, folky styles (How]s the Heart, acoustic) to quite heavy metal (this song). Sometimes they even have several styles in one song!
That ending is just so fun. Just instantly goes from the growl to a happy "Thank you!".
Time for you to take a small side trip. "Disdain" live at the Graspop festival with Floor's previous band Revamp. You will not regret it, I assure you.

Yes.....see our Queen go from Growling Demon to mesmerizing Siren and back again.....I always get the chills when Emppu starts the Song....the Riff is so dense.....and from there it is ENERGY.....nice picture with the presents....I think we warned you before....every song is different....Nightwish for sure is not a one trick pony - if you like Marko´s Voice...Try the Islander from Tampere....Epic. ...and if you want to see some more fiere Floor...maybe you should consider "Slaying the Dreamer" from Buenos Aires...maybe as a double reaction with the same song from the "End of Era" DVD with Tarja.....worth the time. You should check out band Epica. It is also symphonic metal like Nightwish, also with Dutch female operatic singer Simone Simmons, but their music is a little bit harder. You will like it for sure. Watch song Consign to Oblivion - Live from Zenith or Design Your Universe - Live Retrospect.
If you want to do more operactic stuff with Floor. O Mio Bambino Cara with her band Revamp,Shoemaker from the new a album but read about Mr. Shoemaker, Stabat Mater Delorosa with Simone from Epica and also Sancta Terra. Within Temptation and Anneke van Giersbergen and they are both from the Netherlands like Floor

ok I got one for you but you'll have to make a choice (if you haven't already done it) it's "I Want My Tears Back", the Wacken 2013 is funny cause you can see where Emppu goes over and "plots" with Troy about Floor, then later on when he walks behind her he unplugs her earpiece, you can see her reaching behind her, then when Emppu comes back they clown with each other, it's funny, the other choice is for "I want My tears Back" Buenos Aires where Floor really gets pumped and really into it and does a little dancing, plus don't get distracted by her outfit, it's killer!!!
