wow they already made a movie about a character from multiversus, that was pretty fast!
funny
God, I remember watching iron Giant years ago. I think it was the first movie I watched and started tearing up
Remembers the phrase:
"Suuupeerrr maannnn....😇"
Me: *sobs uncontrollably*
Playing as one of my childhood's favorite character and movie is like... Never in my dream would I ever be able to play Iron Giant even if it was miniaturized. Plus Iron Giant was like a long, long time ago. Didn't think it would make a comeback.
Damn, the developers were both super creative and faithful when making IG. Can't wait to see just how far they go with the characters and everything else
Thanks for compiling all this! I'm sure it took a lot of time, and is awesome!!
I love how, in-game, he looks confused when he comes out of attack mode
I still can’t believe how good that movie was, the idea was amazing, the animation was amazing this movie is a masterpiece tbh
this game is such a breath of fresh air compared to smash. I love the movement, the passives, the buffs and debuffs, and especially how each character plays so differently
I remember my history teacher showed me this movie for the first time, man he was cool guy
This really shows you the love they put into this game
That bit when he goes ballistic in-game doesn’t do justice how emotional that part of the movie was
The one thing I like about the iron giant being in the game. He finally meet his hero
you forgot that when he wins the loose screw comes rolling back to him and he picks it up
noted for part 2 :)
This adaption of Iron Giant feels way more respectful to the brand then Ready Player One.
Though RPO was the reason I said, "Okay now I need to watch Iron Giant." As soon as I watched IG and thought more on it, RPO did IG so wrong.
Tbf Iron Giant was a mech, not the actual giant.
which is actually SO MUCH WORSE lol
He has ONE movie and it's about not being a "gun". getting piloted in a random war is so outrageously offensive to the values of the character. I was RAGING!
Pure passion coming oozing from this game I’m so glad
If you give shaggy some scooby snacks he's literly down for everything
My Boy Has Made a Comeback,First The Space Jam New Legacy Cameo and Now Multiversus? AWESOME!
I never saw the new space jam, but how was iron giants portrayal there?
The unlockable Iron Giant Ring Out Effect is also a reference to the cannon ball scene
Its the wave from the splash
The attention they paid to detail and accuracy is absolutely amazing!
I know no one will see this, so I am, in fact, admitting to farting and leaving a stain on an airport chair once
😶🌫️
Fuckin WHAT
tell me you were on a boeing plane
😭
Very informative video for those who have sadly not watched the iron giant. Thanks!
go watch it!
@@Glickstick I have 😎🤏
WOW ITS ALMOST LIKE THEY REFERECED THE CHARACTER IN THE GAME BECAUSE THEY PUT THE CHARACTER IN THE GAME!!!
These animations are added and in the game? Can't be, looks fascinating!
BROO JOJO COULD BE IN MULTIVERSUS
Stone ocean was released by Warner bros in the US!!
they have the licensing rights, but they don't own the property, as far as I can see they own all the characters in their game.
@@Selvokaz The devs have said that third-parties are on the table, and there have been references to third-party characters in the files, Like Stranger Things and Lego content.
@@Selvokaz The devs have stated third party characters could be added for the future.
@@Scott... Ah I see, nevermind then, I didn't know that.
Also developer said to expect anime crossovers in the future once the game gains traction ;)
I hope those people on Twitter that was mad about him being added . can finally chill tf out
Another reference to the cannon ball scene is the death affect when you go out of bounds it was recently released
Must’ve been so fun for the multiversus team to rewatch and rework all of these iconic scenes
The "smile" he does at 4:14 is available as a sticker you can get in the Battle Pass as well
You can just tell a lot of love was put into this character. I remember freaking out when I saw him in ReadyPlayer1 and now he’s basically the star of Multiversus, hats off to the devs I’m so glad kids today are being introduced to one of my favorite childhood movies.
His lose animation also has him making the art.
When he leaves his weapons mode, he looks surprised and confused...
I've never played this game before, but this portrayal of my childhood hero makes me want to.
I wish this got a sequel
It doesn’t really need one
I remember watching The Iron Giant when I was little. Such a throwback.
Are you going to do the reference of every each character
You should make a video for every single character showing the references, this video it's really entertaining.
This is somehow way more faithful than Sonic in Smash.
I wouldn't say.... that. It's what happens when the Third Party does little support for the game devs, aka SEGA.
Indeed, he was rushed and it shows. Honestly never understood why his moveset never changed, and I say this as a Sonic main.
Even in smash you usually can't find a reference for every move on a character, this is really something.
Why does this have so many views lol
I’ll forever want a sequel to this movie but I know I’m my heart it truly doesn’t need one

It's so COOL how did they did all of this. Every move is a reference in one way or another
Theres a couple I couldn't find. The ground and air side specials and grounded up normal. If you can think of any for those I'd be grateful!
Every character move is a reference to their origin
Everything character, despite how annoying they may be, is incredibly faithful and has a lot of heart put into their design
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that remembered the iron giant but didn't remember enough to make sense of why he's in multiversus lmfao Thank u for bringing the light man
