Should of been Bled for Days, but the entire Wisconsin Death Trip album is massive
That whole album is amazing imo👊
I tell people about perfect songs all the time. Wisconsin Death Trip is a perfect album.
This was always my #2 favorite off this album.
@@insaned4666 For some reason December is mine. It's eerie and relaxing.
@@JB-xh5mc pretty much the ENTIRETY of WDT tbh. December is on my playlist too.
R.I.P Wayne Static! And his wife!
PUSH IT!!!
They died?
@@delugesofgrandeur yes, he died in 2014 from an OD, and her in 2016 by Suicide.
The best part is, they were able to pull this off live quite damn well...
Wayne was a beast with those vocals
Yep saw them live twice. Great both times. Not my favorite band ever but I really dig their sound. R.I.P. Wayne
Static-X is just high energy metal. Good workout/ clean house music. It just makes you want to do stuff fast. Use to listen to them while playing Unreal Tournament.
SAAAMME. Unreal Tournament for PC was what got me into fast paced FPS games.
Unreal Tournament was epic.
Bruh. Static-X + Unreal is WTF was up! OG XBox & PC both!
Dear lord, Unreal Tournament? Those were the days.
Sadly WAS :(
Took my 9 year old son to the Reunion tour December 2019. He loved it. Try these songs next.🤘
"The Only", "Cold", ""Push It".
Haha... I took my sons who were a little older than that to a free show with Wayne Static. He had his wife a stripper I think on the stage pretty much nude except a thong and some tassels with cords on her nipples and she danced on the stage swirling the cords around. Needless to say my sons' eyes were pretty big. The sound quality of the venue was pretty bad. I likely would have left other than it was free.
Honestly those three woulda been better starter songs than this one tbh
@@4W0RD5 Exactly!
No more static x, died with Wayne. R.I.P. Wayne Static, R.I.P. Tera Wray
What a great band! they were classified has 'Evil disco' in the early 2000's
Still are. Show me one song without disco influences from any album. I'll wait....😄
@@ReaLibro I totally agree with you! this is why i'm sharing this! 8)) ppl must know that 'Evil disco' is a thing! XD
@@moxborol Saw them live more than any other band besides Tool. But that's another whole conversation.
wut?
@@Avarice21 Wayne Static himself said sped up angry disco riffs that Static X used was "Evil Disco" in various interviews.
Static X was made for live performances. I've seen them 9x over the years. RIP Wayne
I got to see them at Pops in Saget Il. He was great live!
Yes they was the energy on stage and in the crowd was amazing
Evil Disco
I wish I could've saw them live... when Wayne was still with us... 😔
Felt like they came around like 2-3 times a year at one point…always went
Static-X was part of one of the best shows I have ever seen. Morbid Angel into Shadows Fall into Static-X into Slayer into Pantera. Fucking amazing.
I love Static X! They were such an amazing band and Wayne Static was one of a kind. He is missed.
They always had a standout sound. RIP Wayne!
Dirthouse is still one of my favorite Static-X songs. The beat, energy, pure Most Pit!
UNIQUE, right? Bled For Days is also good. If you are feeling a super adventurous, try Love Dump. And yes, it’s about what you’re thinking! Lol
Love Dump is so damn good! As well as Push it and start a war...oh and Dirthouse!!!!
I LOVE LOVE DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooooooh, Static-X is the band that got me into music with Electronic influences. Check out more Static-X and then jump into some Enter Shikari please!
I mean, Brad nailed it. They dive deeper emotionally with songs like Invincible, but a lot of it is just fun, nonsense disco metal, and that's why they're great.
Evil disco is how Wayne describe it
I love static x they are chaos energy on a different level
Bled for days hands down the best static x song
Love Static-X🤟 RIP Wayne Static. I was lucky enough to see them, they sound amazing live. Other great songs by Static-X are Bled for Days, Cold, Dirthouse, Kill Your Idols, Love Dump, or Black and White. Please do a reaction to Hed pe, ima post for them on every reaction you two do till one of these days you react to em. They're metal, punk music infused with hip hop, songs Suffa, Renegade, Ground, Killing Time, Ordo Ab Chao, Bartender or Blackout. Thx & keep the great reactions coming👊🤟
Yeah … Renegade, Ordo Ab Chao, Serpent Boy, POS, even their more reggae stuff like Jah Know …
FINALLY! One of the recent reactors finally started listening to Static-X. Push It, Destroyer, and Behemoth are other good songs to react to.
Static x was so unique! Had their own sound kinda like fear factory did
😂😂😂 Lex was lookin lost and Brad just getting it! Welcome to Evil Disco known as Static-X.
For the record there is more intricate works from Wayne Static and starting where it began in the "Wisconsin Death Trip" set list is the way to go.
Hurts I never hot a chance to see Wayne live. I understand he was legendary with fans.
It's called "EVIL DISCO" according to the late Wayne Static. One of my top 5 bands.
All Static X is great.
Don’t give up on them, you’ll like em! Do..Push It!
I loved growing up listening to Static-X, they were one of the early bands I got to listen to live.
Y'all would of loved them live, Soooo much energy
Static-X?
You had my curiosity but now you have my attention
Make sure to imagine some songs live - Static-X albums may be an acquired taste, but this is straight up full crowd party music live!
One of my very favorite bands to see live. Keep Evil Disco alive!! Rest in peace Wayne. 🖤
Instant view.. anytime a static x reaction comes up. That's a hell yeah!!
Thank you guys
Amazing live act! Glad i got to see them in concert multiple times RIP Wayne
Eskimo Callboy is slowly getting closer to a reality. EDM metal, and Lex will love the hype on a Spit It Out kinda level!
Metallica will always be my #1 across all genres. But Static has an energy and cadence that puts me in the zone to run 10+ miles. My running playlist is literally nothing but Static. I love it!!!!
Also you guys might want to check out the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Full of great tracks.
For a great guitar solo check out Eddie Van Halen solo. It’s probably the longest ever and you will never see anything like it.
Static X is definitely a cardio song.
static x is just fun metal music to jam to, not everything in metal has to be super serious.
saw them live twice before waynes untimely passing. glad they are still being discovered today!
Brads eyes says it all lol, welcome to what I grew up on, this shit gets me hyped! Don’t need coffee in the morning, blast this!
Yessss! Love Static-X. Great live band!!!
Also look into Executioners "It's Going Down"
great song
Damn the lyrics, StaticX was all about the groove!
One of the best concerts I ever seen; they were so high energy and fun. It is for sure it's own sound, and know more song exposure you'll come around! The whole Wisconsin Death Trip Album is a must!
My friends and I played the whole Wisconsin Death Trip album constantly for months , and on heavy rotation for YEARS lol
Wow Static-X! You should do more songs from Wisconsin Death Trip album. Love Dump, Trance Is The Motion, Fix… any song on that album is awesome.
Static X was a fun band, not to be taken too seriously with lyrics or content, but always liked thier sound. Very unique.
Was good to see Static-X at a festival in Charlotte back in the day.. Bush, STP, No Doubt, and Kid Rock were there, ha! Random but rad.
WOOT WOOT!! STATIC X!! A must Listen to is "Push It" !! Luv these Guys!!!
the Wisconsin Death Trip album is one of the best cds ever made ...period
No other bands like these guys!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Miss Wayne🤟🏻🤟🏻
yall are hitting some jimmy jams these days. Love it!
Static-X "Push It"
I Love how Wayne wrote and recorded this whole album by himself before he even formed the band! Y’all should check out some coal chamber!
More Static x!!! We need more of them
Keep ‘em coming!!!!!
So glad I finally got to see them during the Cannibal tour with 2Cents and Otep. RIP Wayne & Tera.
Brads bobble head and goggle eyes are hilarious😵👍😁
StaticX is super energetic I live them (R.I.P. Wayne) please do more Static
Love static x probably not the song to be introduced to them but they have a great one of a kind sound
Push it
Funny you say that, this is literally first song I heard of them, and the very song that directed me down the metal path.
you should hear Sevendust - Praise its like if Living Color decided they weren't heavy enough.. Once Lex hears Lajons vocals i think its over.
I seen Sevendust open for Static X the last time they ever played in Seattle. Was an awesome show
Static-X was described as 'evil disco' by late guitarist/vocalist Wayne Static... we lost him in 2014 tragically😪 and his wife Tera Wray took her own life a year later...
They would combine dance/techno beats w/ metal guitars & samples. Their concerts were awesome... like a rave!🤘
Recently, former members of the band reunited as Static-X w/ a fill-in frontman 'Xero' touring in place of Wayne...
I like how he seems way more concerned with the content of the song than she does.
Rest in peace. I definitely use to love jammin this band growing up. They got me goin in the morning. Lol
Bring on the Evil Disco! Love Static-X!
I put my hair up like Wayne when I was a kid. So freakin hard to do a hand stand for that long. Lol
Ahhhh late 90s techno-metal. I used to listen to this at the gym back in the day.
Yes yes yes yes yes......🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Wicked tune....😁
So glad that you did STATIC X.
The one band I never got to see live..
Wayne is so unique, the pitch change in this song is so cool..
It's a pretty mad intro into static.
Something like 'the only' or cannibal live that's on UA-cam.
Or the soundtrack song from queen of the dammed called 'cold'...
You have gone full on with I'm with stupid...😂🤘
Even tho I love it, it could be a tough start to the band..
And I love the fact that Brad is ribbing lex about it...😂😂👍🏻
Lex, if you read this...just go and listen to cold.... don't react just have five minutes and listen to that song..
I bet it totally changes how you feel about STATIC X..
Much love from England guys..💙💙💙
You guys are in for treat. Time to explore the magic that is static-x
Hell yeah StaticX! Unique band, defo listen to a few more!
Static-X are one of my favourite bands... listened to them since 1999 when I was 13. I'd recommend listening to them with earphones so you can hear all the beats in the background. Basically, they write and record the music using drum machines, then add guitar and the drums after. So they have two drum beats going on in the recording. Some of the symbol work is actually electronic.
The sample they use in this song was actually recorded from local news in Nevada, US. An old lady tackled a burglar and ended up hogtying him. She says "I grabbed my shovel" which you hear repeated at the start... and then later in the song "and then I grabbed a rope and hogtied him" or some thing along those lines.
Also, Wayne Static said they are just singing Gibberish in this song... there's no lyrics.
Apart from the "he's a loser, she said" bits. It's a song about how crazy humans are, and how nonsensical the world can be.... the singer found the story of the old woman hitting a burglar in the head and hogtying him so funny he made this song, and it's great if you know what they were doing. But like most Static-X songs it just sounds good and has a good beat.
You guys gotta Check out The Only is so 🔥🔥🔥 it was one of the soundtracks for Need For Speed game 👌
Hell yeah more static-x
Static x will always be in my playlists!
wayne static is a legend RIP
I like the song Push It and that’s about it. Rest In Peace Wayne Static!
RIP Wayne Static
I could suggest so many Static-X songs but one of my personal favorites is dirt house
This is great, I haven't listened to Static X in years.
They are very unique. A sound that hasn’t ever been quite replicated.
Long live Evil Disco. RIP Wayne.
STATIC X FOR LIFE! RIP Wayne Static.
Love static x. Met Wayne static back in the day and he was so cool.
Static X- Love Dump
That's their best song, 100%!!
So Cold by static-x, the music vid has Aaliyah (rip) as/from the Queen of the Damned
R.I.P Wayne Static. This band was and is still one of my toP 10 favorites since I heard this song for the first time off WDT. I will never let go of the memory I have of seeing them live and the feelings I still get when I listen to their music. Love Static X.
Next time you do a Static X song you REAAALLY need to do something from Shadow Zone like or Destroy All. Even something off of Machine like Black and White.
Static X - The Only is a great song
Rest In Peace Wayne Static 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻
They were Great live - I saw them with Pantera, Slayer and Morbid Angel - What a show
Wayne was a true Original. Rest in Power. Miss you
Yes!!! Jump in the rabbit hole... One of my all time favorite bands. Wisconsin Death Trip album is good from the first song to the end.
Okay Static-X must see songs: Push it, The Only, Destroyer, Black and White, I'm the One, and Cold.
this is one band that ive always been aware of but never delved into. Their style does indeed remind me of SOD.
Brads expressions are so great
Lex - starts to jam. Brad - side eyes lex “what’s she doin?”. 😂 Have y’all checked out The Prodigy. Fire starter or …uh….(what’s the other one?)
Breathe or Smack My Bitch Up lol
My favorite songs static x songs is called love dump and then my other favorite song is bled for days
Love your show
Oh yeah, takin’ it back!!
Wisconsin Death Trip (also their album title), is more up your alley.
Here is what the internet had to say about the song:
In the song, a woman’s voice is noticeable, making short, unclear statements. They are:
"So I grabbed my shovel..."
"...and I beat him in the skull and took him down..."
"and then I grabbed a rope and I hogtied him."
Asked about this issue, Wayne Static claims this is based on true events. "This is real," Wayne Static says, "It was sampled off of the news. Her neighbor had left on vacation. Her and her husband, I don't know the details but somebody broke into the neighbor's house while they were on vacation. So these two went over there and literally creased the guy's skull with a shovel. This was somewhere out in the backwoods of Southern California. The lady was on the news and they were interviewing her as though she was a hero. She lived in a trailer."
The voice is actually a sample of one of Linnea Quigley's lines in the film Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. Wayne Static's comment could have been a joke meant to win over the interviewer - or perhaps an attempt at concealing the source of the sample to avoid paying royalties.
yo i was the one that guess lex was libre first go, i knew it bro 'cause i'm llibre & we're so similar, let's go lex !
Love it! If y'all wanna try another that's more groovey check out Black and White. I think y'all would dig that one a lot!
Great reaction!! I've never heard this song before lol it was interesting. Speaking of System of a Down, i hope you guys react to Aerials! Its the video with the weird alien kid lol
Static-X "Push it"
Video idea: Brad and Lex driving in Wisconsin, listening to Static X's Wisconsin Death Trip album all the way through and giving feedback along the way. It might be a 2 to 3 hour long video, but it would be great. 😁
The trance is the motion!!!!!
When you brought up System of a Down it reminded me to remind you again about Scars on Broadway. After the split of System of a Down, Daron Malakian(guitar, vocals) and John Dolmayan(drums) formed Scars on Broadway. You should check out They Say, it was their biggest hit and a great song. It came out well over a decade now, yet it’s lyrics I feel have never rang more true(at least as far as American society goes).
Insane is my favorite track on the first album. The second album felt like it was a System album but you could tell Daron was trying to fill the vocal parts meant for Serj. Good album but jest felt kinda off. First album start to finish was excellent
@@Dimensiondark I agree, from start to finish their first album was awesome. One of maybe 50(tops) that I love all the way through, and that's out of thousands.
Scars sucks
Static X. Dig Em. 🔥
The only, dirt house, cold, this is not, head, destroyer. Etc they were very underrated and amazing live
