My Filmora 9 wasn't working at all right! It appeared corrupted! And the exported video would not play correctly! Then I did what you said but missed checking the delete rendering files box which I then ticked! I had improvement right away in every section! And the exported videos play good again ! If I would have not seen your excellent tutor I would have blundered around looking for goodness knows how long to fix the programme! Many thanks much appreciated!

Spoke too soon regarding everything coming right ! It was working good the night before opening from screen icon correctly but when I opened up this morning it did not open correctly - the corruption is back Couldn't even close Filmora 9 correctly! project files are missing ! Should I remove and reinstall?

Remember every time you update it sometimes change some of your settings. So make sure by going to the preferences in settings that all the settings are the way that you had them before. Because I also how to make that fixed once I update it

I did all the steps and unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue. Everything works totally fine until I click on export and then it freezes up every single time (after never doing that for several years of editing).

Ok I try this yesterday and it seem to be working but When I was render a effect my laptop shut off completely 😒 i have cleared up my disc drive, Everything else seems to be running smooth except the Filmora. I will keep trying thanks.
On the current Filmora Pro, there is no preferences menu, no performance option and no mention of hardware acceleration in any menu or dialog box anywhere. It still crashes constantly.
@@sustantivo1espritu Beyond running in on a different machine, no. The machine on which it was crashing is a new and top end laptop with plenty of power, memory and graphics acceleration. So I don't think it's that.
nope still crashing you sould have put a full video of at least 15 minutes of you doing anything and in the background filmora is active... so nope that setting didn't work for me
UPDATE it only crashes and freezes when I open my newest projects i tried opening a project from last week and it worked fine (was able to play it, move around the clips and stuff) but as soon as I want to open my newest project I was working on 4 HOURS AGO it crashes
Did u update to the latest one? It usually does that when you have multiple Fillmore is installed on your computer and you’re trying to still use the older version when the newer version is installed. Something similar happened to me last week. So I removed the icon of the older version from my desktop and then started opening it in the newer version, and then the problem was automatically resolved.
Ah damn it if your lucky enough to it to be only that then great but it isn't in my case. High end pc has lag and crashes often making it unusable. works great on my 9 year old pc go figure.

My PC is high end ,graphics card of GTX1050 core i7 ,gaming system ... yet it crashes after some few minutes, either editing or not

I work quite extensively with filmora however it’s an awful choice for long screen recorded videos
So I don’t use it for long screen recorded videos

Filmora … a video editing software … that can’t handle editing video
It works great for some and does not works that great for others, I guess. I had horrible experience with pinnacle studio.
