I knew that was "me" before it was confirmed with the letters. If someone asks how I am feeling I give an exact run down of symptoms, plus how they changed from the previous day, and how I felt at the beginning, "if you have a scratchy throat that isn't sore then tomorrow you'll have a headache and fever!"

See I’m still in high school so I usually make my mom call in but if I had to I’d just overthink it so much that I’d end up almost not doing it and then send a text or just not do it at all because this would make me so nervous and I’d just explain the next day 😂

Huh... that makes a surprising amount of sense. I always hated Phone Calls and always got super nervous when I attempted them. I also remember getting a Phone Call, ignoring it, and wandering off. Then, a few month later, my friends are at my front door, asking me if I'm still alive.

Choosing to watch youtube instead of reading books is a curse I’ve been trying to break since 2010...
I have found the answer to this problem: download books onto your phone! I am a little addicted to my phone, but my brain doesn't care if I am reading or watching videos on it. I get so much reading done now! Plus you can read them offline when you're out and not able to carry physical books around.

It takes me a very long time to finally approve of a version, and even then after I hit send I agonize over what I SHOULD have or should NOT have said... The other night it took me 45 minutes to craft a reply to my riding instructor, and all she asked was if 11am on Wednesday would work for me... My bf thinks I am insane. He is like, just say "yeah, thanks"- but I can't do that, it doesn't convey all that I need it to, it sounds cold, what if she doesn't realize how grateful and humble I am and I sound pompous and/or stupid, are emojis appropriate and if so which one(s)? ( I will spend hours trying to find the emoji that perfectly encapsulates my intent) etc., ad infinitum...
So yeah. Communication in general is stressful for me, even though I am not BAD at it, per se. Just not as good as I'd like to be... Which is perfect, but perfect means a thousand different things to just as many people, so all I can hope for is satisfying myself, and THAT is MUCH easier said than done...

I thought about complaining, but the last time I got sick I couldn't remove one song of my mind and kept thinking about it
INFP here, and been overthinking things when I got sick since I'm a high schooler. I would be either: (1) acting as if I'm okay while fighting symptoms inside, (2) going with the illness while questioning myself if I just faking it, or (3) wishing to just pass out so I don't have to 'confess' that I'm sick.
We are the same friggen person, ANd Usually I go with Number 1, whild fantasizing Number 2 Lol
As an ENFP, I do this too, except that I will fantasize about being taken care of and then ask the one person that should be willing to help me no matter what, but she never does it right. 😢

Yup... Sometimes it was actually easier to just go into work and let them see how sick I really was and then let them send me home, thus absolving myself of (most of) the guilt...
So "sick" days were really hard for me to pull off. A few times, at the crappier jobs, I just didn't call, THAT is how much I hate making that kind of phone call... Which is of course MUCH WORSE than just calling in, I was the worst person there for awhile (I like to blame the alcohol, but I do at least take personal responsibility for consuming it so wantonly... I really was just an awful, self-medicating brat for a very long time). I have since evolved, somewhat. Or so I like to tell myself...(I really did stop drinking- that was half the battle to becoming a better person, for sure. Even when you think you are functioning okay drunk, you aren't. You REALLY aren't any kind of okay when you are essentially blotto by 9am, EVERYDAY, for almost 10 years...I still thought I was managing, stupid me, just because no one knew the truth... Such a waste of a decade! Not to mention my liver...😒)

I'm ENFP, but I do this to my husband. He is my soup bringer, tea maker, and food preparer when I'm sick.
My mom is ISTJ and she's a nurse. Meaning, super judgmental, didn't understand me at all, and every family member of a nurse knows you get NONE of their sympathy because it has all gone to their patients. I usually was met with, "You're fine. Walk it off."

It's true I'm ENFP and when I get sick I apply all my natural remedies of the highest caliber (I hate taking prescription drugs) and expect to miraculously heal by next morning...i get so surprised and a little bit of disheartened (like how is this even possible) when that doesn't happen...but I shake that off and I step up my game and I'm back to my "I will be fine tomorrow" optimism...until I really am...but then I also can be in a mood to have others take care of me and deploy my inner child lol...its more of a play (not to be bored when I'm sick) and I overdramatize and pretend that I'm a lil sick kid ahahaha
Yeah! I refused to be sick for 3 days while my whole family told me I was sick. Lol 😫 I mentally have let myself and everyone down when I finally agreed!!
(ENFP) Yes. All I need is a day of uninterrupted sleep and I will be back to normal tomorrow! lol...not. I would never ask for soup, but I would tell mom (INFJ) I was sick. She would make HOMEMADE Chicken Noodle soup and I will feel better.
@@blackmamba6046 Exactly, My people are like your sick and, I alway like I'm okay I'm not that sick (meanwhile I'm coughing up lungs and random organs ext.) but im like no im good I took a flu shot (more like 32oz.) of apple cider vinegar, honey, ginger, and cayanne how much longer could it last??? I'm puping my immune sytem people!
then I sleep for like 24 hours straight get the sick version of "jet lag" and sulky im never going to get better me kicks into gear. I can be like totally dependant on everyone to like make sure im okay and taken care of like, if your gonna baby me then im not gonna stop you! Then i realize how much of a total drama mama I'm being and give my self a pep talk about how its allgonna work out and everyday im sick is a day close to being healthy again! It never fails and sometimes I go through this cycle multiple times before I'm better.
But um yeah I do like when my mom makes me soup but, to be honest if im begging for it she goes homemade :) not canned hahaha

@@d0giem It depends on the multivitamin-a good whole food liquid multivitamin would have good absorption. But additional supplements may be required for deficiencies. It just reminded me of myself because I take immune support supplements and get plenty of sleep, so I rarely get sick.
