- In this video, we demonstrate how to put on one of our front opening corsets by yourself.
Important!!!--always loosen the laces enough that the busk is not under heavy tension when you are doing it up or taking it off. This will help prevent damage to the busk studs with repeated wearings.
Bonus points for doing it over a tshirt; corsets were never meant to be against the skin and I scream internally when television does it.
@bellsz !!! no it’s safe for your skin
@@emmah9578 it gets sweaty and dirty and needs washing if worn against skin. Worn over a chemise or other cotton or linen undergarments, they very rarely if ever needed (and need) washing. If you want to send yours to the drycleaner though all the time, feel free. I'm sure they'll appreciate the extra business.
it's sexier that way
I have been trying to figure this out for two days--thank you so much for clear visibility in the video & helpful instructions! :)
Thank you so much. I used to west corsets when I was younger and more flexible. Totally forgot how to do it lol.
You make it look so easy 😂😂
Very clear video, I'd love to see more videos of the sewing process!
Looking amazing
THANK YOU. I perfect video. How do I keep the knot at the bottom part of lace in the center, and my bunny ears the same on each side? I'm a perfectionist. I hate when the lace is twisted as well
i have a question: i am going as the corpse bride for halloween, and i am using a corset as the top part of the dress (with a shirt underneath because corsets shouldnt go on skin). i am 13, and i would only be using it for a day, (halloween)
do you think its a good idea, or something i could do even?
it looks cool, but i dont want to hurt myself so i am doing as much research as possible.
I think u should try to wear it few days before the event itself, not that tightened, just to make sure you're gonna be fine dressed in it all day.

Hey I got a question are corsets okay for children 9+? Cuz i really wanna wear one but I’m not a teen yet- or a adult-
whats the use use of corset for u, u are so young 😅
@@namratasingh4190 idk they look ✨ n o i c e ✨
@@ghsty1783 I would wait your body is still changing and growing I have a sister your age and I wouldn't let her wait until your atleast a teen or if you wanna wear one just as a fashion piece then just dont tighten it and wear it loosely. But me personally I would wait.
Honestly, I just wouldn't go too tight. But you're still growing a lot, so it's likely you'll grow out of any corset you buy or make pretty wuickly so you might want to wait for that.
Wait until youre at least 15+!
Are you sure my ribs won’t break
Yes.
