Just a couple suggestions, please know I mean no disrespect…1) wash under the top of the hood as well when cleaning the engine bay… 2) when you have an extremely dirty car…first, do a touch less pre rinse treatment…foam the car-let it dwell a minute if the weather permits, and then rinse…then-foam car a second time to do the contact wash…by doing the pre rinse….the foam has encapsulated a ton of that initial dirt and grime from the get…this way-when you do the contact wash with the second foam…you aren’t marring and scratching your paint with all that initial dirt build up that hasn’t been rinsed off the car yet….3) rinse your mitt after each panel with an extremely dirty car…otherwise that dirt stays trapped in the mitt and gets spread back onto the paint….. 4) when you polish-all you need is 3 pea sized drops-less is more-use a cross hatch pattern and slow it down…you want to make anywhere from 4-8 passes per section, depending on the condition of the paint, and use more than one pad..when the haze becomes hard to remove, it’s because your pad is gunked up….you seem motivated and excited to be on your detailing journey…best wishes!
You know What Thank you so much for the advice, I’ve been needing to do this and you just gave me the extra push I needed to create a better process. Sometimes us detailers create bad habits and unknowingly or knowingly dont change, but Im firm on growth and this will only improve my skills. Also sometimes doing things the right way may cost a little more money and using more foam will cost but your absolutely right the excess dirt needs to be encapsulated. Thanks again for taking the time to get this point across to me. Yes I know that about the hood I forgot it this time, I washed it later. With the the amount polish and polishing is something I also plan to work on, I’ll be doing a ceramic coating soon and I’ll showcase all the practice and improvements Ive made in the video!
@@Brandinwagstaff that’s awesome! Can’t wait to see…I’m new to ceramic coating myself-so maybe you can teach me a thing or two! Btw…you slayed the engine 😃
Ay homie is alright perrito we live and we learn so I sale cars all my cars I do a one step paint correction not for them to sale good for my training you feel me and I’ve learn allot just doing my cars props bro keep it up
quick tip to anyone cleaning the engine bay with a pressure washer or high pressure water, make sure all of the caps on everything is tight, fuse box is fully and securely shut, and take out your battery to be extra safe
Doing an amazing job. I use meguiars mirror glaze compound & polish. However, I’ll be using Optimums compound & polish. I discover thru my local detail store that meguiars uses fillers and in time the blemishes comeback. And, with Optimum they don’t. Plus, no dust. Meguiars has solvents.
The clay bay mitt , Ive only always used traditional clay bar, Ive been told by many that the mitts aren’t as effective as the mitts. Id hate to spend $50 on one and it not work. The clay bar works for me and its not much effort to apply it, So I just continue using it. Its kind of like why fix it , if its not broken. Theres been tests proving the clay bar is just as fast as the mitt
As a beginner, this is a great start! However, make sure potential clients know that you are still honing your skills. I used to practice everything you're doing and record myself before posting videos on social media. It helps you learn and prevents scaring away potential clients. I live in one of the wealthiest counties in the world, and these affluent clients are very particular about their vehicles. I recommend getting some good training and practicing repeatedly while recording yourself.
Thank you bro, definitely improved a lot since this video. I gotta do another one soon. You’re right always best to let the machine, chemicals , compound , soap etc do the work for us
I may have covered the alternator but there is no need to remove the battery. I find it interesting that all you guys in Cali have to bring your own water. Do customers not let you hook up to their water?
I think they are not as open to it since living expenses are so high here. But once I have a customer offer it, or seem cool enough to ask I always take advantage of it
Most mobile detailers in Cali-especially in the summertime-bring their own water because it’s deionized….otherwise…you deal with harsh water spotting since most Cali water is pretty hard.
Yes I heard people in Cali aren’t too open to letting companies use there water. Here in kansas they have everything set up for you with snacks and water waiting for you.
Need some more training with the polisher. You're all over the place with the speed. Also using WAY too much product. Blow out the pad. You're not getting any rotation when doing the headlights.
Before you even Clay the car you need to do an iron decontamination to clean the paint, you use way too much product. The way you polish is way too fast you have a lot to learn buddy learn the proper step before you start doing this as a business 🤦🏻♂️
You got great videos but a critique would be to make your voiceover more natural like when you're talking to the camera. Your voiceover sounds like your reading a script.
I agree, I noticed that for-sure as well. I kind of got in a rush and tried to squeeze too much voice over in too small of segment and it sounded way too script like.

Exactly 👍. Thank you 🙏

Great Tip!! Thank you 😊
I wouldn’t wet the alternator, I would throw a rag on it and the battery as well
Bro, I love your videos and your hustle! Get that money! Are you using the 15mm or the 21mm cordless DA polisher from Milwaukee?
Thank you bro 😎
Its a 15 mm 👍
The wife is so good looking
Bro no disrespect please but who taught u how to use that polisher? 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Way too much product and too fast of passes, not sure if he was cleaning his pad or even switching it out.
No disrespect😁
How many pads did you used on the entire car?
When doing the engine bay try covering the alternator with a microfiber towel at most
Nice job tho
Good tip! The engine is always tricky 😅
You don't need to cover the alternator
Excelente trabajo. tu proyecto es muy inspirador. Les deseo el mayor de los éxitos. Saludos
Muchos Gracias My Friend! Gracias por ver ☺️
Espero lo mejor para ti también

Brother , Nice Job quedó brilloso carro de color negro muy difícil trabajar en esa condición felicitaciones
🙏🙌Thank you brother!
39:20 that pad doesn’t have to be soaking wet like that 💆🏻♂️
question why dont you use a wash mitt instead of the traditional clay bar ?
The clay bay mitt , Ive only always used traditional clay bar, Ive been told by many that the mitts aren’t as effective as the mitts. Id hate to spend $50 on one and it not work. Omg way way way to much polish. Just my opinion
That paint is too trashed, maybe should of went with just a paint enhancement and used an AIO to make the paint gloss but not remove all defects.
Your right, the polishing hardly did anything. That probably would have produced the same results
He has no clue how to polish
Need some more training with the polisher. You're all over the place with the speed. Also using WAY too much product. Blow out the pad. You're not getting any rotation when doing the headlights.
After reviewing this video I agree. Next time I have the chance Im definitely going to step it up and get it right.
Since is 8 hours job whit by help to have canopy on
