@Senkaw-naowis-nebpherthe demon of Babylon disguises himself with the coat of the righteous. Banning rule34 will mean banning a crucial part of humanity’s culture and giving corpo even more control than they already had over the internet. Reality is already worse than most cyberpunk fiction, don’t make it even worse
genuinely so weirded out by parents who refuse to let their children watch stuff like spongebob or whatever because it’ll “make them stupid” but are more than happy to hand them an ipad with little to no supervision.
It’s simply ignorance. If they knew what was going on they wouldn’t allow it. Part of the problem is how bad the economy is too and how both parents or single parents have to work constantly so kids get left with videos from UA-cam.
As a parent it's your responsibility to keep track of what kind of media your very young children are exposed to. HOWEVER. You also have to teach your children how to moderate themselves as they get older. If all you tell your child is that they're not allowed to do something, they will do it behind your back. You have to be the one to start the conversation about WHY rules are in place, and you have to be honest with them. My daughter is 11 now and I'm extremely proud of her morals and very rarely have to moderate her at all. I've been speaking honestly in words she can understand with her as long as she's been speaking. I answer every question honestly, and so I hope if anything bad were to ever happen, she wouldn't be afraid to be honest with me about it.
Absolutely this. The internet is such an important thing in society now, not allowing children (I don't mean litteral toddlers) on there is very detrimental, kinda like if you didn't let them outside the house for fear they'd walk past, idk a s*x shop or something, then dumping them on the street a few years later expecting them to have everything figured out. You have to teach your kids the ways they can be autonomous, IRL or on the internet. "Taking away" their form of joy, of freedom, that fucks up children to, not to mention peer pressure from the people actually allowed these "privileges" (urgh. I hate this word in this context). They're little humans. They lack life experience, but they're people nonetheless, you cannot expect them to be satisfied with just food and shelter, especially when they spend most of their waking time in a coercive place they're statistically most likely to hate. You owe them at least a fucking explanation for why things are the way they are, and just because they can't understand everything doesn't mean they can't understand anything.
As a child I was exposed to NSFW content on accident and it had a profound effect on me and lead to so much suffering and anxiety in my life. The fact that these kids are being exposed to this is disgusting.
I can relate to this as well, and I have had nothing but regret. But I am making an effort to get better. I need to set an example, heck, we ALL need to set an example for the next generation. We need to be the best we can be.
You know what's horrific? This video was posted 10 months ago and I just found three playlists from some random Vietnamese accounts that are exactly as described. Still up. With still active accounts. I searched because I was like "yeah no way that's still a problem" but it actually fucking is. Thank you for making this video and I hope that it gets more views and that it gets dealt with by UA-cam.
Oh yeah, this is still a problem and I'm confident it will be for as long as UA-cam exists. Dear parents, please, for everyone's sake, KEEP KIDS OF OF THE INTERNET!!
As a Vietnamese , i have some explanation on why you see so many of these type of videos with our Language. While i can see some of these are truly made by Vietnamese people , most of them are Vietnamese account that gotten hacked and the hackers are trying to pretend to be Vietnamese . The Prime example is the Family guy clips compilation he talked about that was a normal channel that gotten hacked. Similar to the ones that contain the tag ' Hoa KÌ ' because we rarely use it to describe the USA instead we use the word 'Mỹ' . The primary reason is that the age of new technology comes to us Vietnamese too quickly and most of our people cannot catch up with internet security and a lot of user tends to use cracked or pirated wares to save cost. So hackers and fake apps tends to easily steal our accounts and infomations , i know way to many people that gotten scammed and hacked , even those that are early 20s are still easily tricked by link swap and telemarketing. Please do not take this as Vietnamese bad : Our people are just aren't educated enough.
omg i absolutely HATED these videos 😭 every time i go to visit vietnam the moment i connect to the wifi i get bombarded with these videos on my feed and its not like you even ask for it they are rlly popular with the kids for some reason and these channels have decent followings i honestly hope youtube takes them all down 😭🙏🙏
I'm glad I'm not the only person who has noticed this disturbing resurgence, I wish parents were more aware of the content their kids watch. Seeing this happen to younger kids reminds me too much of some of the shit I was exposed to at their age, let's stop it before it continues.
I was exposed to sh** not for kids on youtube and would get in trouble for it luckily i was and still am montierd by my mommy at least youtube is not targeted Towards kids 😅
same, i already saw my 4 year old brother watching that type of content and i sent this video to my mom so she can see what my brother is watching. this is trully disturbing.
THIS. I have been trying to convince my brother not to leave my young sister alone on UA-cam, and this has reinforced my point and convinced him. We sat down together and made a playlist for her with over 1,000 videos that we reviewed ourselves. Without this video, my sister might have fallen prey to these horrible videos. You are truly a saint for spreading the word.
That’s amazing! I have younger cousins too and I’m trying to convince their parents to watch them on UA-cam. It’s terrifying how this is just spreading freely.
I try to convince the parents of my younger family members too but its so hard when they don’t understand english but they want their kids to learn english ;w; the kids have a way gigger access to the internet than the internet they’re aware of but i can’t explain it to them
I'm 23 and I work in early childhood education, mostly with toddlers. I have always felt very strongly against coco melon and it's blatant abuse of young children but I never knew how deep this went. I don't think I can applaud this video enough for exposing such a real issue. This resonated so hard with me.
Cocomelon is disgusting especially since they destroy my boy JJ's reputation my boy JJ is actually interesting and is actually a good guy in real life and is it funny when she dresses up as a hot dog and gives out hot dogs for free for Halloween which was the nice meanwhile this JJ on cocomelon is literally cringe and should be taken down and they should name that dumb kids some other dumb name and it's so stupid they always show the entire freaking show being a freaking Utopia meanwhile real life isn't sunshine and rainbows it's pretty harsh and it's not perfect and we should show kids that life isn't perfect at a young age so they don't grow up to be spoiled
Same thing, I have some very young familiars, like not even 2 years old, and the parents give him the phpne and let him watch cocomelon, and I watched and heared, about it being bad for kids, I told them to stop letting him watch cocomelon and all that content, but after watching, I want to share them this video, sadky that we're in spain and they don't know a lot of english
I haven't got to that part yet in the video but whaaaaat???? I cannot STAND Coco melon but I couldn't figure out why.. I've seen it in passing at friends' houses who have kids and always felt so incredibly uneasy by it. Weird.
I hope those real kids were found and taken away from those environments. That just hurts to hear. Even with the image blurred, I could imagine what was happening to the child well enough to be very disturbed.
The saddest part is, I'm not even suprised by 70% of this stuff. Child exploitation for profit or more sinister intentions are so common on the Internet. But regardless thank you so much for making this video and informing your viewers how bad this """kids content""" really is.
*Making the internet so called "kid friendly" will be the doom of it* Because it will create a huge wave of copy pasting content and hamper the experience And also, WHY are you giving access to the internet to your child? And even worse, WHY are you using stuff like UA-cam as a baby sitter for your child?? The Internet is a mixed bag of good and bad things But the problem is the bad comes out of it most of the times and it overshadows the good stuff in it
@@X3RNEA5 children are insanely malleable and receptive to advertisements. since corporations run the internet and want to turn it solely into advertisement space, they'd obviously want to make it as family friendly as possible, and for the largest possible demographic, to try and appease as many advertisers as possible. that's why you see ads in every possible crevice of a website and why things that are a little more inappropriate than milquetoast are demonetized.
@@X3RNEA5 also parenting is super hard, and finding enrichment for your kid that won't bore them out of their minds is harder in the internet age. attention spans are getting shorter, we're in a recession so job days are getting longer, and parents need to get smarter about finding ways to entertain their kids instead of letting the ipads and tvs babysit them
@@biggestastiest I agree. So for now we really cannot leave our children in the faces of internet give them the full access around the ages of 14-16 as they would know by then how to be protected
@@X3RNEA5 I'd argue simply banning them untill an age is not really going to solve it. It's only a little less skintape solution to the blanket banning that UA-cam is trying to do. Kids are stupid good at getting through obstacles even more so if they are determined to do it because everything forbidden becomes much more intresting, because they are naturally curious that will want to check out everything especially if you hide it. They will want an answer, and once they have gotten a satisfactory enough one they will move on to other things that seem more intresting. So really, giving them a good explanation is vital. I think my parents that are otherwise rather illiterate in the web, did it well by explaining why a certain thing was bad or dangerous and to follow a few simple rules and what to do if you encounter something bad. Don't click on random link and don't try to buy anything with real money, don't ever tell your personal information to anyone, be carefull with the strangers you talk to and immedietly click away if you encounter something bad or gross. And if there is anything going on please share that with your parents and they will know what to do. Of course, this would require for parents to foster an active relationship with their child and that's a near impossible thing to ask. But if we are already asking them to do that and take responsibility, I think it's misguided to only shoot for them using very rough/uncivilized tools to keep their children safe. I also don't want to give abusive parents more tools of their disposal to limit and cut their children away from the outside world, I have encountered and lost plenty of friends over parents being unreasonably fearfull and treating their teenagers like innocent toddlers. I wonder if launching programs to help parents understand the internet and possible risks and how to talk to their child more other than just treating it like the computer will physically assault their precious. I know this is biased but I can't help but find it bitterly humorous how grown ups around me acted like near every single internet user was a potentional child predator and then had 4 people hit on me on the shiny streets of the progressive parts of the western world, all while I was blatantly underage. One even shameleslly right in front of my parents. I also never got the argument how not seeing someone's face makes it more dangerous. Yeah they will say meaner shit but that's about what a single individual will do- otherwise they will groom and manipulate you just as easily online as in person, there is no set of bodily appearance that you can immedietly tell is going to be predatory lol. If anything, having documented texts makes it harder to gaslight you, even if those can be faked and all the associated jazz. But I'l stop here since I already went off topic.
It’s nice knowing my future kids will never see this criminal shit. I work in retail, and almost every day, I see parents practically neglecting their children by just handing them an ipad, leaving them at the mercy of UA-cam autoplay. It’s always either cocomelon shit, or literal elsagate content. It’s horrific, and I honestly fear how many twisted people are going to exist in the future because they were subjected to this at a young age.
i work at a bar and its fucking insane how many people bring their nasty kids only to just hand them an ipad with cocomelon. just pay attention to your child? it's like watching humanity literally degrade before my eyes lol
It's not normal nor ok to allow your children that kinda stuff. :/ I'm really glad I didn't get a phone till I was 12, and not any younger.. :3 Give em a Gameboy like my mom did
this comments section is heartbreaking… i’m 22 and couldn’t even make it through the first five minutes of this video because the imagery was so disturbing. i grew up watching Spongebob and iCarly, and didn’t have free internet access until middle school. i remember seeing the movie “Coraline” when i was 8 and it gave me nightmares for years. as a hypersensitive child, being exposed to this kind of content would have quite literally broken me psychologically. the fact that this disturbing content has given so many people kinks is just so unbelievably sad, and i feel so lucky that my innocence was preserved as a child.
I’m 27 years old here in 2024 and I remember loving Coraline , but that’s also because I read the book first. My daughters love it however, they only just now started loving it when they first saw it at 5yo it was scary to them so I didn’t let them watch. And although they love Coraline they are deathly afraid of Huggy wuggy
At this point o don't mind if I'm hated for this bc I hate myself for this. Im 11 now and when in 2016 I used to always watch these types of videos. I'm very disappointed in myself because I never saw how bad this effected me. I'm not comfortable with saying how I turned but it's not too bad. I basically grew up with my teen brothers because my mom was always at work. I never went to pre school (dw I get very good grades) because my mom thought that's hiw kids get sick. I remember watching some of these exact videos in this video. Now that I've grown a little I know what to watch and what not to and how to not be brainrot. I hate my past self because after watching this video I can see the effects it had on me. It worked for them. I'm only in the 5th grade but I'm trying very hard to be a better and clean person.
18 now. Grew up on the iPad exposed to cartoon gore and the like: I now have a guro fetish that makes me feel sick yet it’s the only thing that truly catches my attention.
My mom is a psychologist who specializes in educating kids with play therapy. Just yesterday my mom asked me if I know who huggy wuggy is, I asked why and she said that her client's child (who was only 5 years old) kept demanding her mom a huggy wuggy plushie to the point where the kid would threaten her own mom by "chopping off his arm with a kitchen knife", yeah, the amount of disgusting content truly needs to be stopped.
I keep seeing ads which are very dirty. I feel bad. I feel bad for parents. These type of content lead children in a bad state. I downloaded one game, which was "draw one part" type game. I was watching A LOT OF DIRTY ADS and i had to do strange things to women every level (their animations were "detailed") . The worst part is that game is 9+ and that it says very dirty stuff in the end of the level, example: "i would like to see her _____", "dang i would slap her" and etc. This. Is. Gross. Edit: i just saw an ad which is straight up por#. That's how we should attract people to play our games, right? Disgusting.
@@OSCSHITPOST I'm a major fan of FNF and I'm saddened to see such content being made and sold to little children. And it's inappropriate as well, I'm livid.
The way they sobbed and screamed was geniquely haunting.. I can’t imagine the trauma they went through, especially knowing that the substances injected are.. unknown. No young and innocent soul deserves that hell. Edit: Even if substances weren’t included, it’s not okay to do that to a child. Syringes are supposed to be trusted equipment, not weapons of abuse for content.
@@dogfest2001 hell they probably werent even injecting that shit right, non intramuscular iniections ornjustnsubstances not typically injected can cause intense pain, necrosis, ingection etc if injected wrong. I hope whoever the hell did that shit suffers worse than that poor kid. What the fuck man
UA-cam be like Random videos that say “stupid”, “shut up”, or “dumb”: ❌ Traumatizing content, nsfw, elsagate: ✅ i am so disappointed in the UA-cam moderation, they practically ruined my childhood. They also ruined my friend’s childhood, which influenced them to show me nsfw things and attempt to do nsfw things to me
As a late gen z, I wasn't feel good about my birth time. Gen Alpha rose when I was just 2. I even remember stealing someone's phone just to look for UA-cam, and they deleted it already. I was attracted to it so much, it make me mad until my mom give me my father's phone.
this is actually sickening. i have a younger sister and i’ve spent so much time trying to make sure she doesn’t watch things like this, but now i have an even younger cousin with parents who give her a tablet to keep her occupied. i genuinely hope youtube does something about this, because she loves a majority of the characters that these trashy creators exploit
This is painful to read because as a older child myself i knew about this and my parents decided to give birth and by that point i've become an antinatalist
@@bladethewitch1442 "mommy theres bad videos on the internet, how dare you give birth!?!? time to get a vasectomy for the good of humanity " man really has that villan backdrop
"I genuinely hope youtube does something about this" Oh don't worry I'm sure they will! I mean, who else is supposed to monitor and control what their kids watch? Don't worry folks. Google has your children's bet interest in mind, and they totally didn't let this happen in the first place!
I want to be a father someday, and the idea of my future child stumbling upon garbage content like this and coming out scarred both horrifies and enrages me. It enrages me that there are parents out there who allow their kids unrestricted access to the internet - just shoving an iPad in their face and hoping for the best. I'll admit that I was raised on the internet, but the internet isn't the wonderland it used to be anymore - people have figured it out, and people have figured out how to exploit it for whatever ungodly reasons they come up with. Maybe my child would hate me for being restrictive, but I'd take that over them being scarred for life any day.
As someone who also wants to be a parent in the future, I feel the same way. Although, seeing some people start to realize the damage of this type of content gives me hope that future parents like us will be more aware of this and try harder to prevent our future children from being exposed to it.
It was never a wonderland. I was being exposed to ISIS beheadings, child pornography, beastality, and videos of people committing suicide online as young as 8. The suicide videos were on UA-cam. The internet has always been like this and only now is there a murmur about the dangers of it. What I’ve witnessed has scarred me for life and I can remember every piece of horrific shit I saw down to the pixel. To me this is worse since it advertises to kids. Once they get older it won’t get much better, since they would be developing unusual sexual behaviors and will likely be groomed online. I was. I was for years
As someone who's little sister was dragged into this rabbit hole and became completely disturbed and scared, i'm furious that youtube isn't doing much against it. That the responsibility is once again put on the viewer. Yt kids was supposed to be safe.
They're going to continue this crap, parents aren't going to change nor is UA-cam. I had a nephew that was a victim of the original wave of elsagate stuff. The main problem was/is a lot of parents who use devices as babysitters and don't even bother to check on what their kids are watching. My nephew watched UA-cam ALL day long and with little effort stumbled into this stuff, I think UA-cam kids is a gift and a curse, it separates content but also attracts sickos since it's almost guaranteed that kids will be watching with little to no supervision.
@@lobsterboywonder Simple solution, UA-cam is held accountable for the content users upload Targeted to kids Make a whole ass seperate ruleset for content aimed at kids, not the same vague guidelines Videos marked for kids also shouldn't be auto-flaged by AI, Ive seen furry vore (with vore in the tittle) be classified automatically as "for kids" Videos targgeted for kids shouldn't be published unless verified by a real person, and have a limit on how many videos can be uploaded in a given time, to avoid exploitation of low quality content
@@jesusramirezromo2037 question is, are they actually going to do that or anything for that matter? I have my doubts but a creative solution. I like it
YT Kids shouldn't even exist since you're supposed to be thirteen to have an account on UA-cam. COPPA when it was first implemented caused me to freak out because I thought UA-cam would take down all of my videos due to some bot deeming them "inappropriate". I wish predators and the lousy misinformation political channels like Tim Pool or ShoeOnHead, not to mention the exploitative family vlogging channels didn't exist to ruin people's livelihoods and fuck up kids.
And some things just get plugged as “for kids” in the algorithm sometimes. I think there was a UA-camr who clearly made content for adults talk about this and how infuriating it was to get it flagged not for kids. Regardless I’ve seen muscle flexing videos or Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon vids that were tagged as “for kids”… if that’s not on purpose, then they really gotta dig into fixing he way this AI will just randomly tag videos that way .. and if it is done on purpose, then … yuck.
As someone who was a child when ElsaGate started I think this video is great and incredibly important. Lucky, I barely remember it and it didn’t really stick with me
I’m a gen Z teenager and I’m grateful that I never got exposed to elsagate I’m very angry to hear that younger children are exposed to disturbing content that is purposely seen like it’s made for them
so glad I watched mostly innocent minecraft role-plays about leading a village and stuff. worst that came from that was I learned about ship culture and bit early
I'm a gen z teen too, except I just right now realised that I was exposed to ElsaGate a few times on accident when I was searching for full episodes of My Little Pony here :( I remember clicking on some videos and seeing two ponies going down on each other and being frustrated because all I wanted was to watch Rainbow Rocks T^T I seriously just remembered this incident omg
Im an older gen Z who grew up with unrestricted internet access, and luckily wasn't exposed to ElsaGate things. I was traumatized by creepypasta and My Little Pony horror videos (Smile HD, Cupcakes, Little Miss Rairity, and the .MOV series). I was traumatized with class.
i remember when i was a kid i was super scared of a video that was literally 10 bad pokémon creepypastas. i didn’t know the internet could have fictional stories lol
My parents were watching me when I was looking at videos and I had a parental controls, and I was never able to see this kind of content, I'm 15/16 now and I realized that my cousin (5/6 years old) is starting to fall into this because their parents don't really pay attention. Yes this shouldn't be on UA-cam and it's bad, but parents should pay attention to what their kids are watching, dude my sister saw a deer without head on youtube unscensored, because she hide when she's watching youtube and my parents can't monitor her, we explained to her why this is false (it was don't worry the deer was not dead) but she continue believing anything, me and my parents are starting to be scared of what she'll see or believe, she's 13 btw.
This is so incredibly disturbing. I genuinely feel sick. Thanks for bringing attention to this, UA-cam needs to be held responsible for letting this content exist on their platform.
I can't even describe how thankful I am that my parents didn't let me watch youtube till i was like 9. I am just horrified for the kids that actually had to go through this. Why would anyone any human being at all do this. I am sickened by it.
yeah. I am so incredibly grateful that my mom monitored my internet usage and that I was also born early enough the internet wasn't as big a constant in our lives, I grew up right in time haha. Geez. very very very sad
The only thing for me in the “elsagate” category was those claymation videos, but I don’t remember much and I think that phase didn’t last very long because my sister and I were more in to toys and some appropriate gaming videos. Also music videos, some a bit too inappropriate for 7 or 8 year olds but not too often and to me that’s an entirely different story than the whole elsagate
I was exposed to Elsagate when it was at its height. I never realized just how wrong it was, because nobody was there to tell me. I Finally matured, and was able to get away from that stuff. But for a few years, it caused me to have certain fetishes and kinks. I was finally able to see how weird and wrong these were, and got myself back to normal stuff. I’m no longer into those things, thank god. But for Christ sakes, I’m a 14 year old girl. I shouldn’t ever have this story to tell. Literal children should not be developing fetishes. This is truly disgusting. Please, all of you, stay safe, and protect your children. I was lucky that I escaped it. Others may not be.
im also 14 and had the exact same experiences not to mention i even started having intrusive thoughts related to these fetishes and its honestly ruined my life i cant even think normally anymore
My god, that's disturbing. I wasn't there when elsagate skyrocketed (I was 12yo at that time), but stories like yours make me literally cry out of disturbance and fear. At about 6 years old I was scared of a certain Resident Evil 5 death animation, my dad played it on release and I briefly saw it, and my first exposure to porn was at 11. I was into creepy stuff around 14 and even found some real snuff. It was totally insane, but at least I was old enough to understand right from wrong. More than that, I understood that it's a shock content, nothing more. Now I'm an average 19 year old guy, and I'm really concerned for my younger brother. He's a perfect audience for this kind of shit, and I'm not even here to talk about it with him, because I moved to another city for university. I know my parents won't give a fuck about anything he's watching on his tablet... ...with that being said, at least i tried to make him spend less time on UA-cam. I got him a 2DS for his birthday last year and a Wii U this year and packed them with Mario games. He enjoys playing video games a lot, and he loves his consoles too. It's not a complete deterrent for sure, but I hope it would be enough to keep him from UA-cam for some time. Kudos to you for getting out of it, that is at least uncommon thing. Hope that those kinks won't resurface in your life ever again
I’ve had a fetish long before I even knew what a fetish was due to channels like these. It absolutely killed me when I realized what a fetish was many years later and that what I had was so similar. I’ve had it since I was in 3rd grade. It’s been several years since, and I absolutely hate it. The intrusive thoughts are so much, I can’t even think normally anymore. Everyday I’m ashamed of myself because of it. I don’t know how to get rid of it, it never seems to fade away despite so many years passing by. I don’t even feel like a normal human being. Recently, it’s been resurfacing more and I’m hating myself for it. I hope everything goes well for you, I wish for the best for you. 💖
As someone who grew up with ElsaGate and ended up developing horrific fetishes at a *very* young age, this video means the WORLD to me. The fact that you’re going out of your way to educate people on the ElsaGate phenomenon, and even more importantly, doing everything you can to STOP this phenomenon is insane and I am so genuinely grateful for it. You have no idea how happy you saving other children from having the same “childhood” that I had makes me. Please keep up this amazing work. You’re a hero.
I remember watching Elsa gate videos, I was too little to think much of it at the time but I see now how horrible it was. It has now brought back some small trauma sadly.
And they want to brigade against the creators who do everything in their power to keep kid away from their content as if the internet is supposed to be their free babysitters.
Yeah, my first phone that my parents bought me was a simple Nokia phone just so we can stay in contact, I didn't get a smartphone until I became a teenager, if I needed the internet for something or school we just had a family computer.
What I feel makes Elsagate even more disturbing is the fact that we know NOTHING about the people who make these kinds of things and their motives besides speculation based on their actions. U would think that with so many of these channels and with how long they’ve been going on for that one of the creators would defect and spill the beans yet even when news outlets try to investigate them they find nothing or the people they find refuse to be interviewed
I don’t think specific people are behind this. Though this is just a theory of my own, I think that these videos are the sad results of a lack of communication. A company’s higher-ups want to make content that appeals to young children, and they use an algorithm to do so. The higher-ups don’t know what the algorithm is forcing their workers to create; the workers don’t have the confidence (or means) to complain to their bosses about what they have to create.
E that’s a good theory and I believe it could be possible if these videos are primarily made in foreign countries where lack of cultural understanding, the use of algorithms, poverty and language barriers are the reason for why these videos are made and why no one hasn’t spoken up. Although there are plenty of holes bc this is still speculation and we don’t know which ones are foreign made and which ones are made in the u.s.
My sister sadly grew up watching videos like this, wasn't allowed to be on UA-cam at our house, but she went over to a friend's house and would watch it there with her friend and needless to say it messed her up mentally, took two years of therapy for her to understand the stuff she was watching and coming home and making art about isnt normal. Glad there are people exposing this kind of stuff though.
idk if my cousin grew up with this since I still remember that she watches some Elsa gate content from her tablet I think she's 12 now and she's normal for her age so maybe my aunt and my uncle got it controlled
i remember elsagate. i was the target audience. since my parents were home a lot of the time, i was often alone with a shitty computer; and id just watch youtube. i got traumatized by that stuff. still am, and im grossed out that my younger brother is going through that exact same thing.
I am SOOO GLAD THAT PEOPLE ARE FINALLY TALKING ABOUT THIS. It’s absolutely disgusting that this stuff is happening again, and it REALLY doesn’t help when the CREATORS OF POPPY’S PLAYTIME ARE LITERALLY CREATING THESE VIDEOS THEMSELVES. For those who don’t know, the creators of poppy’s playtime, MOB Games own the channels Enchantedmob and ZAMination, where they post these types of videos using Poppy’s playtime characters and a number of other characters from different franchises that are popular. The videos are obviously directed towards kids, and any genius that watches the videos will be able to tell, but the videos are unbelievably suggestive and are helping fuel the flames of suggestive use of kid’s characters in videos made for kids, and it’s directly filling their bank accounts with the amount of Poppy’s Playtime content being made. *also I am so glad to finally see someone else who dislikes Poppy’s Playtime and Huggy Wuggy or anything associated with it as much as me damn-*
Ikr these videos on UA-cam are like crap because every time I go to school (I’m a 5th grader deal with it) I always hear first graders saying “do you remember that one real zombie photo?” or “poppy playtime came into my room!” it’s just crap
@@kevlarmonsieur4 I genuinely feel bad that those first graders are actually growing up with this stuff. “Back in my day” 👴(I’m 17 lol) we had Pixar films and Cartoon Network. Now it’s come to this in such a short timeframe
Not neglectful, just uneducated. Most parents grew up with things like classifications, and parental locks that prevented them from watching anything other than nickolodeon and Disney. They understandably expect youtube kids to be the same. Most parents these days, especially single working parents or parents who have kids with special needs, don't think twice about letting their kids watch youtube kids for an hour so they can complete household chores or tend to another child, and they really fucking shouldn't have to. They have already put parental locks on their internet access to stop their kids watching anything they think will be unsafe. Labelling these parents as neglectful is extremely judgemental.
I grew up with unrestricted access to the internet and it hurts to see my little cousins going down the same sort of stuff. Seeing those things as a kid affected me and still affects me to this day, i don't know what to exactly do I just wished my aunt was more active in her kid's life
as a teaching assistant for 4/5 year old kids i can safely say that elsagate never left. it only got worse. protect your kids, don't allow them to use youtube or tiktok. that's truly important. please please please don't allow your children to use the internet unsupervised
what's really fucked up is that you could be the most vigilant parent ever, but all it takes is one kid with too much access to the internet being friends with your kid and showing them inappropriate content while they're at school. And even if you decide to pull them away from their friend, it might be too late and caused lasting damage to their psyche.
@@itsClaptrap It wont cause lasting damage to their psyche, I watched a lot worse stuff growing up being one of those kids who had "too much access", and it doesn't do as much damage as you may think. So if even I am ok who was exposed to some pretty brutal stuff, I think your kids who watch a few videos with their friends aren't going to be traumatized
@@padarousou a few questions did it not cause damage, or is the damage subtle and not that noticeable by self reflection or surface level observation? and is your experience universal? like you said, you watched a lot worse, but so has many other people, and their social skills/perception of certain subjects have been inarguably warped because of it. (anecdotal example would be myself a decade ago) and following up with the previous question, would it not be wise to have safeguards in place to keep children out of that media in the likelihood that they are not going to handle it so well on their own as you have?
As a 13 year old who grew with a little bit of Elsa gate but luckily hated it and found it disgusting this video gave me a wake-up call if you could say it like that, it made me check up on my sis and good thing I did, she was watching some girls dancing in a submissive manner and I immodestly snatched her tablet and told her to stop watching this type of content. Ty
Young adult here. I'm too old to have been affected by things like Elsagate but myself and many others were heavily warped by the Brony community as children. Ive definitely never recovered from the nsfw content i viewed then and it has changed my brain permanently in ways i wish i could undo. Watching and viewing disturbing nsfw content consistently at a young age strongly increases the chances of developing strange fetishes as an adult.
@Paul Johnson no matter how much you wish you could beat kids up for liking harmless stuff, it won't change these communities to form, because a lot of them were bullied anyway
I’m a big brother of little two sisters who watch UA-cam, and I’m inspired to take away UA-cam from them after seeing all the bad stuff that are supposedly made for kids, I really don’t want them to see these disgusting videos so I will take part of this battle and take UA-cam away and show them tv shows I watched all the time when I was little or some other old shows, Raymundo you inspired me.
Nah, age of 13 is too strict. The mature age for most people starts around 6-7 years, maybe 8, and after this kids have the ability to make rational decisions on what they should not touch You could also just tell them about internet safety, prohibit dangerous websites, explain how it's bad to watch certain videos. Not simply restricting the access, because restricting access could simply be harmful.
@@S0fizzy I think some children might need this. UA-cam is a awesome thing, if you think about it, hosts a lot of movies, educational videos, just silly kid friendly stuff. Also, not every kid acts and thinks the same, and it's silly to just put lame adultery standards on them, like "nobody should do something until something year". The whole purpose of parents is to be an expert in their children psychology, desires and needs! Not the watchdogs!
you can also see elsagate being spread to childrens toys as well. a lot of toys have recently been toilet or poop related, and its just kind of weird..
Yeah, as well as things like the Baby Alive show, which even though it's based on dolls that have already had a function like that for many years, it SOMEHOW manages to make it uncomfy
I'll share my 2¢. Possible reasons for the fetishism, and why Vietnamese. I grew up as an early GenZ, and I remember when young, "happy 3 friends" and other explicit adult sites and terms where the rage. It's the curiosity of an not-fully-mature kid to want to find and watch things that they don't understand but get intrigued by. Things like pregnancy (and how babies just pop), the forbidden access to other's genitalia, feet cleanliness, and excrement. Things that we all have personal experience with but are never allowed to talk about with others and in public. The bad thing is that repeated exposure does cultivate a kind of fetishism. We biologically don't find human body contact and saliva and things disgusting when in the heat because, well, those that didn't were able to complete the deed and have kids with similar traits passed down, while those who got grossed out and never had the "gross meter" switched off during the heat, probably weren't successful in their propagation But we know that sexuality and taboo tends to be linked, I don't want to make guesses or reasoning but just point out the correlation. It's why paraphilia exists, and in more modest societies there is more prevalence in voyeurism-linked searches online, compared to more liberated societies where especially things like toplessness are normal and nothing more arousing than just a simple, "oh looks good" kinda remark we would say when seeing, maybe, a pretty face. Another one is scary stuff. Scarousal. It also is correlated with sexuality and again those who gave up when in fear were not able to have kids, while those who could despite being scared were able to continue and hence pass the trait down. So in terms of popularity, such things that (1) fearful and forbidden to kids, (2) are scarce because adults don't really care about them, and (3) easily creatable by adults because it's not scarce to adults like it is to kids, and (4) still contain something of a gateway to ease kids in despite the unfamiliar content. - these makes things popular to kids. Happy 3 friends? It had these 4. Many kids who are victims of s.abuse? It was something (1) they didn't understand or know, and (2) not common among kids, but (3) adults could easily commit such acts, and (4) the abuser was a known relative so there was some gateway. The perfect cocktail. (1) preganacy, sex, needles and poop; (2) they are adult-related themes; (3) they are easily accessible to adults unlike something like war or radicalisation which fits the first 2 not the 3rd, and (4) throw in a cartoon character to ease in the kids #-------- As to why Vietnam? (btw I like how you said Vietnam and then zoomed into an Indian name) I'm guessing these reasons: (1) quick and easy money making scheme by people in a region without much regulation and care, (2) forced. Cambodia has a similar gang ring of kidnapped migrant workers dupped into coming for better work opportunity, and are forced to scam people in Singapore and USA. Such love scams, youd wonder who will do such heartless things, but they often have no choice. A Malaysian was tracked down and hacked to death in Malaysia by the gang for trying to expose them. Usually led by Chinese folks, and Chinese authorities close an eye since they aren't doing this rubbish in their borders and are sending in good remittances. So I won't put it far that these might be forced. Same line as those Vietnamese videos of "daily vlogs" of cooking or cleaning, where shorts are shot and loose, and blouse are huge and low hanging, and lots of unnecessary back-breaking bending done (3) they are grooming. Vietnam and the region prohibit prostitution. For some place nearby like Singapore where it is legal, it is very regulated and police keeps a close eye so not much goes wrong. But in Vietnam and such, these places they are forbidden but are not heavily regulated. So you have a lot of illegal black markets for this. And unfortunately, this leads to a sex-tourism destination popular among other nations. Worst is that unlike many westerners, east and southeast folks have very strong neonatal features (ie short and young looking). As an Asian we do find Westerners very old or mature looking especially when we see expats or even exchange students of the same age. But we can tell very clearly with our conditioned eyes if someone is like teenage-young, or adult-young. Honestly it can be brutal to try and maintain flawless look here, but I digress Anyways, you can deduce that this also means very predatory folks come to Vietnam for a certain "flavour". And among those with paraphilia, it's is not uncommon for someone to have multiple of them. So how do you make more money and capture more markets and dig deep into niche markets in this brutal unregulated slave ring? Groom. That's possibly that's happening. It's a two step thing, though I doubt they realised it was 2 step, but just wanted to groom the folks that they can then kidnap or convince to join their slave ring: (a) kids watching become more comfortable and hence less repulsive to such things, especially when it's delivered in such a fetished way (b) at risk youths watching, who do not know better and may not have appropriate parental guidance, might unknowingly develop the fetish and paraphilia. Unlike adults who develop them and responsibly exercise the fetish, kids may not have that maturity, and may not be able to overcome the biological arousal, and when they grow up with the paraphilia now in an uncontrolled and dangerous level, it will take more than just watching online to satisfy, so they might want to seek out these markets. Hence increased client base Idk might be a bit far fetched but maybe?
Dude you are kind of a hero. I'm a single dad and had no clue about this stuff until I heard the term yesterday. My nephew is a victim of this shit and you really opened my eyes. Thank you
Sadly, seeing as many children’s toys have excremental or pregnancy themes, we can’t really say that mainstream children’s media is completely innocent either.
It’s been there since the beginning Think, like genuinely think, almost everyone who watched cartoons as a kid remembers at least watching one show that had “that” weird episode about it To anyone reading, name a kids show and I could probably name the weird episode it had
@@MarioMario-qn2bo wild kratts: the hummingbird episode, yonder: the lonely planet episode, chowder: grub episode They’re all mainly there for specific moments that just make me uncomfortable
@@kisarahanone5697 Can't speak for other countries but here in France we had a toy aimed at little girls that was basically a naked toddler boy that would warn when he wanted to pee, and you were supposed to touch his penis to handle it and help him pee without making a mess, as shown in the ad. It's just one of many examples, there was that Trollz doll that would do weird giggles when you touched her privates between her legs (there was a huge outrage about it a couple years ago). Pregnant dolls and pooping babies are also still being sold. Some bootleg merch come with weird satanic symbolism, or horror imagery, like the "Evil Stick" that had a pic of a woman doing self-harm hidden inside. It's definitely a weird rabbit hole that has been going on for 40+ years at this point. Kids back then had "your first uranium experiment" kits. Barbie also had an official pregnant doll that was discontinued after outrage.
What’s depressing is that UA-cam barely does anything about these channels, even when they are blatant f*tish fuel. I remember overhearing my nephew watch those syringe videos when he was 5 and that’s what pushed me to take action. That was literally just child abuse disguised as being “silly”. Also, it’s not just on UA-cam, it’s also on the parents to monitor what their kid is watching. Of course you can’t helicopter over your kid 24/7, but it’s important to check every now and then. UA-cam Kids is a joke and UA-cam themselves are doing the bare minimum to ensure the safety of children. Delete the app entirely.
Most parents have no idea, though, which is understandable. They grew up with televisions that had parental locks that prevented them from watching anything other than nickolodeon and the Disney channel, and they understandably expect youtube kids to be the same. People who have never had to raise kids, especially as single working parents or parents to kids with special needs, come and put any and all responsibility on the parents when they have no fucking idea what it means to get an hours peace so they can get the household chores done or tend to another child.
My mom didn’t care of me watching it when I was 9 but when I was 14 she told me how it was bad and I stopped watching it when I was atleast 10 im 15 now with a little brother from 3 almost 4 months to never let him watch it
I was in the age range for these videos when they were popular. Terrified for younger kids whose parents don't care about enough to raise themselves and try to let the internet do it to see them. I have a younger brother who I feel, within the next few years, I will have to talk to him about general internet safety and directly warn him about Elsagate. Thanks for letting everyone know about this, I'm sure some people haven't, but thanks again for letting us know.
I don't know if directly talking about ElsaGate would be good. It might intrigue his morbid curiosity and have the opposite effect. Maybe something like "if you see any weird cartoons turn it off"
i was also in the age range when these videos were popular, yet i knew that they were bad and disgusting. i stuck with minecraft youtubers instead of this shit
@@Lesaloote just say "if see any creepy stuff with huggy and kissy missy or elsa and spiderman then immediately turn it off and tell your parents what you saw"
You and other UA-camrs who are like you are building a bright future for kids you are making kids and children realize what's happening without traumatizing or doing anything harmful, You are the future builder I don't know if the platform UA-cam is trying to show some disgusting dirty things to children on purpose but you are pure gold I respect your high effort on this contents that you are making and keep the work buddy ;)
Elsagate is honestly nasty and straight up disturbing and I’m glad you talked about it I hope a parent watches this and recognizes it and hopefully one reaches out to UA-cam or says something about the situation. It seems like your the first person to talk about this in 2023 and that’s what I like about this video I hope this shit stops soon so children aren’t exposed to more it and I feel like this is going to cause trauma to kids who come across this #EndElsagate
I was a victim of this side of UA-cam. It was mainly Play Doh Surprise Egg videos, but it brainwashed me. I would not stop watching them. My parents wouldn’t let me watch UA-cam for literally YEARS. I didn’t like it, but as I get older I realize the shit that I’m watching took over my mind and my parents actually snapped me out of it, and it worked. I’m super grateful for this. My mom has a friend who has kids, like Gen Alpha kids. The youngest is three, and when I want to hang out, she always has a phone in her hands, watching Cocomelon or Poppy Playtime videos. I try to stop her from watching, but she throws a big hissy fit when I turn it off. She’s been brainwashed. My god, save the children.
i almost got brainwashed by those play doh videos and stuff but then my dad let me play minecraft on his ps3 and i loved it, so i was watching minecraft videos on youtube and nothing else (the good channels like dantdm, stampy, and popularmmos)
@Galaxy Raptor yep, and nobody can disagree, my favourite videos were the build battles and the episode where he built a giant rocket and went to the moon
@Galaxy Raptor was never really into his minecraft series (...or mc at all, for that matter) but his terraria playthrough introduced me to one of my current favourite games which is pretty hype, i think
@@scottish_lunatic I loved DanTDM he is one of the best Minecraft UA-camrs and I love that he grew up with the viewer's but still try to make it family friendly.
People really need to stop blaming kids for all this, and this video is a great example of it. Yes, kids are annoying and snotty and whatever, but they're kids. They don't know all of the rules and societal expectations, and they don't need to! Childhood is something everyone goes through. They're going to be the ones to run the world in only a few decades, and the amount of toddlers I see with ipads out in the open is DISTURBING. Neglecting your children and letting them go online unmonitored at such a young age is terrible. I genuinely feel horrible that we keep corrupting and traumatizing our kids like this. Letting someone be raised by the internet never turns out well, and I feel like Gen Z and young millenials are great examples of that. I saw a man get decapitated when I was like 8. Did I learn not to click on strange links? Yes. Did I also get traumatized and have horrible nightmares for years to come? Also yes. Letting kids be exposed to adult topics and mature themes never turns out well. I can only imagine how much money therapists are going to be making in 20 years, because jesus christ.
I feel like I should clarify when I say "this video is a great example of that" I'm saying this guy is doing a great job of explaining that it isn't the kids faults, not that he's blaming them. I see so often that people blame kids for the horrible stuff that gets policy changes to happen on youtube, so seeing this is a nice change of pace.
OC has a good point. Definitely accidentally stumbled upon snuff by accident a couple times while unmonitored just on youtube back In the early days. The Internet is as much a weapon as a toolg and needs to be respected and given such caution as it deserves
Recently, they made the same thing towards the Glitch Productions most popular indie Series called "Amazing Digital Circus" It's gotten way too popular and many people are making trashy content related to that
what's also interesting is the many "Girls dress up game" sites that would also have content about pregnancy, giving birth, feet, kissing, borderline nsfw thumbnails for games and other gross/odd topics. I never understood why
Probably for similar reasons. Kids are morbidly curious about the things happening to a character they know, they start engaging with it, and soon the topics are normalized. Except it’s interactive, which may or may not be even worse…
@@BinglesP It's not only that, when you look at actaul fetish content that says it's what it is, you realize that there is not much of a difference at all
i remember these, i was just growing out of dress up sites when they started popping up. i was pretty young but could at least grasp that these were weird games. honestly disturbing to think about how deep all this content runs and how it's going to affect the young kids exposed to it
This isn't just a joke anymore. This... this is war. I'm getting to work on this right away. Good luck with the battle, Raymundo. At lease someone else knows how I feel.
I'm so darn close to deleting my comment, idk why everyone assumes they're right cause of their opinions, like someone said they have Intrusive Thoughts but not from ElsaGate, basically implying I didn't go through that cause they didn't, I'm thinking this cause there is no point in saying something that doesn't relate to the conversation I started, I'm so close to giving up on the people I love, that being everyone, feels like everytime I explain myself or bring up hard to swallow topics cause I love and wanna help people, everyone is at my throat making me look insane I was a victim from these types of videos, I'm now over 14 years old, and I can definitely say my Intrusive Thoughts are Hell cause of that content, once my Family got me snapped out of it, it made me realize how bad it was, the worst part is, when I believed NSFW things were okay, I would fight with people saying it's okay, that type of content has messed me up so badly in the past...
I feel bad for y'all... I don't really experience these kind of stuff (touch wood ✋🌳) but I can't imagine these bs popping up in my recommended. I don't wish games that are not really popular in the YT community like Cookie Run has these type of kids content
I was always scared if this did some damage, and Im really sad it its true. As I teenager i found some disturbing images, but on my own. Never on youtube and never when my parents were around and I was kid. World is evolving into steaming pile of mess, there is no peace for nobody, if kids gets throught this.
Love the video and love the message. I don't think I deserved a phone at the age I got it and I'm definitely gonna hold my kids back from it for a while. Thanks for all you do, man! Keep up the good work! :D
“The mind isn't simply a dangerous place, it's the most dangerous place. All that's wrong, sinful, and evil starts in the mind. It's ironic how the part of the human body that controls everything is also the most out of control part of the body.” - Jewel E. Ann
That explains why the internet feels like a borderline lovecraftian hellscape and if you’re wondering why I call that because of the villain from berserk Idea of Evil which is a deity that’s formed from all the negative emotions of humanity in that universe
@@orrorsaness5942 I had to look up the warp and it turns out it is from warhammer 40k (that’s why I didn’t know about it) and that seems more apt but it is the residence and birthplace for all chaos gods
@@orrorsaness5942 yeah because the warp is what gives birth to Eldritch horrors but not a horror in of itself and that’s also why I think an AI going rogue irl is more frightening than skynet because of the fact that Skynet is able to be comprehended while a real rogue Ai that can generate its own inputs would generate a mindset that people cannot grasp and essentially be the closest thing to an irl chaos god Note: the reason why an Ai going rogue becoming an incomprehensible being is more dangerous is that like Ai in general it’s a black box so you don’t know how it thinks so it could range from the benign to cataclysmic or somewhere in between
A message to all parents out there: do NOT let your kid be raised by UA-cam! It will end their childhood before it even began! This website is no longer a website for people across the board. Kids can no longer be on UA-cam. Like RayMundo said, make a playlist for your kids, but for the most part don’t give your kids limitless internet access.
I watch YT as a child, BUT HEAR ME OUT. I watch those old-timey videos like gaming videos (e.g. Mark playing FNAF etc.). Bro I miss the time when YT is just a platform were you just watch YTbers screaming and raging at horror games which is hilarious
Also, responsible NSFW artists would never want their art being shown to kids, especially very young ones like the ones being targeted in Elsagate. I'm sure Zone didn't intend on her Ankha video being seen by kids, she couldn't have possibly predicted it would become that huge of a meme, but you still get what I mean. Edit: Just found out the actual Zone is a guy and Zonetan is just a female character he uses as a mascot. I still stand by my point though.
Zone is a guy, zone tan is just the mascot for his stuff and a avatar of sorts Because, well, he probably knows dudes looking for porn likely prefer if the presenter for his brand is a cute girl for obvious reasons instead of himself lol (Unless zone transitioned that I'm unaware of)
As if zone cares about kids, I’m sure he was super happy his disgusting filth became viral because he got so much money. As if these “artists” have any fucking morals 😂
See I can’t blame Zone here, they make this stuff for NSFW sites They are very well known for their 18+ parodies but never post them to UA-cam, however bad companies often steal them to use for adds on Rule34 sites weirdly enough. As for here people saw how big the Ankah meme (which Yknow was huge back then) and Zones NSFW version
This is such a vital and important video. I didn’t even know there was a second wave of Elsagate and I’m so upset that there will be no accountability taken on any front. Not on the channels, not on the creepy commenters, not anywhere else, and especially not on corporate UA-cam. I’m so frustrated by this whole situation and that it even got to this point. Our kids need to be protected from this kind of garbage. Seriously, what’s wrong with broadcast/cable TV or the stuff we grew up on?? Parents need to stop being lazy and actually parent their children. There will probably be a third wave…and a fourth…and on and on until something serious actually happens and changes, which makes me sick. Great vid.
and one of the most important things is DONT GET ANGRY at ur kids if they are watching this. they are being manipulated into it. if you treat them like theyre completely in the wrong they are gonna keep watching this stuff out of spite. be calm. explain whats wrong with it (in the most appropriate way) and offer alternatives.
give them a book to read or like be a parent and entertain your children. Ipads aren't a substitute for parents and the internet is largely unsuitable for developing immature minds.
Yes calm is good, perhaps a little bit of shame is fine but calm is fine as well. I was exposed to a creepy sonic video and my mother got angry and I would NEVER search for anything in YT until I was 18.
I feel like this should apply to parenting in general, not just with Elsagate. Like... I have a few memories of my mom making me feel like I was the absolute scum of the earth all because I was too young to tell the difference between Cartoon Network and Adult Swim and got caught watching things like Family Guy (thinking it was just another cartoon). If you see your kid engaging in content that's not appropriate for them, your immediate instinct should be to educate them and start monitoring their media intake more closely - not fly off the handles and make them feel like complete dogshit as if they deliberately set out to do something wrong. All that does is encourage them to start actively trying to hide shit from you for fear of another one-sided screaming match that ends with them sobbing.
Yeah when i was around 7-9 i used to watch Sims and creepypasta stuff out of spite because they never explained to me why it was a bad idea, it may have not stopped me completely but if someone told me “you might be scarred by those creepypasta pictures for the rest of your life “ it might have scared me out of it
As a kid who grew up watching elsagate, I can not tell you how many times I have had nightmares about these and had to ask my mom if I could stay in her room
I actually as a toddler/kid under 10 found this content jumbled in my usual stuff, my mom was right for telling me not to watch youtube, though I would watch it late at night anyway. This is actually how I found out about birds and bees, and I was traumatized. No one should go through these unsettling videos, and I am paranoid for my younger brother who is straying into similar content, and watches youtube every day
same with my sister too, me and my big bro sometimes notice the cursed content on my mom's youtube account and we would immediately deal with it, luckily though mom bought a android box for the tv and now we are able to see what she sees every time she hops onto yt
You should probably moderate the videos he watches if that's the case, you should also tell him that it scarred you so he has a higher chance of obeying.
You should accompany your brother when watching videos if you can. If you spot some dangerous or weird content, you should tell him that its not proper or right. You can do this, and I'm glad you want to make an effort.
I am honeslty sick to my stomch, realizing that I used to watch a lot of videos talked about pretty regularly and not even knowing what it was or even remembering I till now. And I know this is pretty late, but thank you so much for this video and making people more aware of the up rise of this content targeting children.
If all these "kids" videos has taught me anything, it's that ElsaGate was never killed off by UA-cam years ago. It simply adapted and overcame the restrictions put in place by the corporation.
elsagate is like the flu and youtube mods are the yearly vaccine tbh (For those who don’t understand, the flu evolves fast, and a new vaccine is needed roughly every year. This is connected to elsagate because elsagate is also evolving to bypass youtube in waves whilst youtube tries to fight back.)
thats what a lot of people forget tbh predators *can and will* adapt; they've done it many many times before, they'll keep doing it until they're forced to stop amd adhere 24/7
UA-cam is a corporation and corporations will typically only take action when money is on the line, hence why the purge started after advertisers pulled/threatened to pull out. Sadly youtube doesn't actually care about the vile content it continues to push through the algorithm at the expense of easily exploited minds being corrupted by it.
I looked up “Hey Arnold full episode” with the playlist filter, and…it’s all right there. It’s honest to God one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen. Like seeing a conspiracy theory come to life before your eyes. And when I start looking at the sheer amount of content - channels making the playlists plus channels making the videos in the playlists - it does feel hopeless. I thought the ending speech in this video was just a touch cheesy, but after searching and seeing the sheer amount myself…your speech feels like the biggest thing giving me reason to do something about it. As difficult as it is to expose myself to this content, I’m already a grown adult at 27 who’s processed seeing too much shocking content as a kid - yet still not nearly to this quantity. This cannot infect our future generations.
We are the same age, took the words right out of my mouth I feel the same way. I've had to call out friends that have started to let their kids just be on youtube because it's easier than being present all the time. I've seen how it can affect kids firsthand and it's a big problem.
I found a new target, the channel is called "kissy show" nothing about it sticks out above the rest, but I want to spite them for putting "help me get to a million subs" on their description, they're almost there too, let's rip it away from then right before they grasp their victory.
I always get scared of my niece watching UA-cam. I would hear the weirdest stuff and immediately change to something that I know is good or shut it off completely. I’m glad for most of my childhood that my parents put on cartoons for us to watch in the living room.
Thank you so so much for this video. I have a granddaughter that will be five in September. Exceptionally smart. Was even accepted into a magnet program for the upcoming school year in August. When she tested, she was only four years and four months old. She started watching This huggy stuff and she became a different person overnight. I’m so glad that my youngest daughter showed me your channel. Thank you so very much for this information.
as a gen z 20yr old with a toddler, i very carefully monitor what my daughter watches BECAUSE of stuff like this. i see my siblings watch it and see the way they lack in their progression. they talk later, they have behavioral issues, anger outbursts, etc. i don’t understand how so many older parents can hand their kids a tablet with NO safety features but be upset by songs on the radio
unfortunately having kids young is very common where i’m from. i have a 2 year old and twins on the way. but that doesn’t mean i live off of my parents and did nothing with my life. i completed my bachelors in Pharmaceutical science this year, and our daughter lives a more than comfortable life because of our hard work. she never has to want for anything, i’m very fortunate to be where i am and i’m well aware of it.
I work in the counseling field, and I and my coworkers have seen the negative effects these videos have had on young children. Increased anxiety, decreased social skills, and early onset of risky s*xual behavior simply because they don't know any better but get addicted. It pisses me off so much that people would target children like this. Edit: And don't get me started on to s*x content in Roblox games
As a YT veteran who only actually created his channel a year ago, this still hit close to home. Things like Elsagate have even existed before the term was created, I still remember when I was watching your Gen Z childhood trauma iceberg and you mentioned the name “Kphoria” that brought back a lot of bad memories. That guy was weird. Edit: on a side note, speaking of YT trauma, does anyone here remember Scaretheater’s old second channel called ECWgaming and his old minecraft series called “Casey’s cave entry”? It’s a piece of lost media that Raymondo should do a video on. I also did a video on it and my findings about the show.
my freinds little sister often watches these new age elsa gate videos and the impact is insane and undeniable. she screamed for me to come into her room and turn off her tv she was SOBBING crying terrified due to some bluey video where they got murdered. it’s sick
As someone who was exposed to inappropriate content as a young child (I'm currently 14, I got exposed to that stuff when I was 8), it does mess you up mentally. I think if this isn't stopped it will lead to an increase in depression when the children who have been exposed to this content become teenagers.
I was exposed to elsagate ish stuff when I was a child I am a teen now and am horrified of how I found it Edit: I am okay now but it still creeps me out sometimes
yeah, it's sometimes like you can't look people in the eye or admit it, so the shame builds up and you start to distance yourself from others. at least, that's what happened to me. for more context: i was lucky to avoid weird animation videos, but i was still a curious little kid. directly, i searched a phrase up in google and saw those images in a flash. poor brain was hooked and it definitely clouded my thoughts often. fortunately for my classmates at that time, i didn't say anything. in fact, people thought i was fully clean and innocent. i mean, i didn't get some green jokes, but i've seen the stuff. i would've been happier if i just didn't try that day.
i’m an adult now and i saw content like this but with my little pony and to say it traumatized me would be an understatement. i haven’t been able to talk about what i saw and i will not go into detail bc i just can’t. it’s made me terrified of intimacy bc i thought someone had to be harmed in serious and sometimes fatal ways during it. i cannot even kiss someone without feeling sick and threatened bc of what i saw. i’ll never forgive those people who manipulated mlp and turned it into their own pron. i will never forget.
@@mindshuffler3332 the problem was that the r34 was very easy to access, or even accidentally find. there's a reason the brony fandom has a bad reputation
It is indescribable how it feels to be 11 years old, in love with an innocent show like my little pony, and see a cute video of your two favorite characters dancing only for one of them to suddenly start torturing the other to death in gruesome, horrifying ways. That shit changes everything. I still can’t stand even the mildest of gore.
I believe I know what you're talking about and those videos were made for a mature audience. It sucks children accidentally stumble upon these but the videos discussed here are deliberately traumatizing kids
@@kawaiiqueee It doesn’t matter if it was intended for a mature audience. The title and thumbnail give no warning that it’s mature material, and the thumbnail itself is just a picture of the two characters, in the same art style as the show, dancing. There is absolutely no way for a child to know what the contents inside the video are, and no way to shield them away. In fact, the video’s warning is less then half a second long, merely a few frames (not exaggerating) and the disclaimer itself doesn’t at all say what’s in the content, it just says the video can cause you to be aroused, which is not something that should be in a warning anyways. At least NSFW art can be posted to websites meant for NSFW art, and it will stay in its lane. But making gore and NSFW of kids show characters and posting them on youtube in a place where kids are actively seeking out content about the show they like, it’s just asking for kids to see it. Especially when it’s not age restricted at all. In the same way people make videos of huggy wuggy making someone pregnant and sticking people with needles, the creators could easily say “this was made for a mature audience” and it would be the same excuse. No warnings, no way of indicating it’s mature at all. But that’s what they tell you to keep their videos from getting taken down. If you look at the comments of the video I’m talking about, nearly ALL of them are about how they found it as a child, and it traumatized them. Intentions no longer matter at that point, it’s still incredibly irresponsible.
omg no i remember watching that at around 8 years old and it traumatised me so bad :( but i think it led to me having an infatuation with gore by the time i was 14 and now im 17 and i feel like it messed me up really bad
I freaking remember that animation of pinkie pie literally killing the entierity of the main cast when I was 6 💀💀💀 Good thing my parents caught me wacthing that now
I grew up in the early-mid 00's. We had ebaums world and happy tree friends. This isn't new. But it affects people different. Gore doesn't bother me. It also doesn't arouse me either. It's just not something that shakes me to my core. I'm a firefighter, I've seen some real bad shit in my years. It's just a part of the job, compartmentalize it, do your fuckin thing and talk to someone about it if it sticks around or haunts you. You never forget the bad shit you see. I've seen fellow firefighters completely lose everything after a bad call. Family left, got into alcohol, got fired from both jobs for failing alcohol tests. People reached out immediately after noticing something was off. Dude just refused to talk about it. Ruined his entire life. Fuckin crazy how the mind works so differently from person to person.
I worry a lot more about the predator part than most of the video I've watched so far, it makes me uncomfortable how many children weren't aware of the weirdos who prey on little children's bodies and while I was smart and informed enough when I was young not to show myself in any way, that wasn't how it was for others and it truly disturbs and disgusts me to hear about this all happening, I feel bad for the victims involved in this rabbit hole
I went to a local fair once with a five year old girl (about last year. I was 15 weeks away from turning 16) and she sees kids from her class. She asks me if she can talk with them for a bit and I told her she can. One of those kids had a rainbow huggy wuggy plush he got, and began explaining the Elsagate stuff he sees on UA-cam to the girl I was watching. I was in sheer disgust. Then the girl asked me if we can go get a plush too and recreate the content. I was like “No. Let’s actually get a different toy instead.” Luckily the girl does not watch that content, and she came home with a toy doggy. I came home with a bucket hat that day. And I am proud to this day that even though I do not have kids myself, I managed to get a kid out of that situation fast.
The best thing you can do to protect young kids from bad shit on the internet is BE IN THE ROOM WITH THEM. Don't let young kids have unmonitored internet access. No wifi devices out of your presence. E: i want to clarify I'm not saying you should rigidly control everything your kid watches until they're old enough to have a job. Just be in the room with them when they're watching UA-cam at least when they're young. Maybe watch it with them and talk about what they're watching. That's parenting.
@@Skellaton29 I'm no puritan. I looked at a ton of messed up shit on the internet when I got older. But as a young kid, my parents kept an eye on me and made sure I wasn't getting sucked into a horrible rabbit hole of exploitative trash. They participated in what I was doing, which gave me tools to stay safe when I was on my own. Don't hand a five year old over to UA-cam Kids.
@@sonicroachdoggjrraven3263 internet is fine, lots of good stuff on the internet. Just don't leave a toddler to be babysat by the algorithm. Make sure you know what they're watching.
Just want to say your a goddamm saint for not showing those Mr. Dweller thumbnails, they are repulsive and they mainly target major phobias such as arachnophobia, trypophobia, etc.
Same situation here, add social media on top of that and that is me. Now as an adult watching videos like this I can’t help but feel the amount of bullying and harassment I get for not having these things back in middle and high school is really mild compared to the damage I could’ve gotten being glued into garbage like this
Ya same. I didn't really use UA-cam that much until I got my phone when I was 12/13 ish. I would have probably thought all the elsagate stuff was hilarious when I was 10
Lucky! I've had access to yt since like 4 or 5yrs old (even tho I only watch minecraft gameplays and Itsfunneh, which were both innocent things to watch)
yeah, that's a pretty smart decision on their part. playing physically (like freeze tag for example) too is enriching. i had so much fun in the earlier half of my elementary days. for me, i was really lucky that when i was tiny youtube wasn't exactly so.... strange?? really great thing dantdm's collector series or whatever that was called existed and the minecraft monster school videos were full of quality before. i don't even want to see the newer ones anymore. rip.
The thing with Poppy Playtime is that the devs outright said the game isn’t for kids, and these bastards decided to take it, and make it 10 times worse…
Take that claim with a grain of salt, my guy, because the developers of the game just so happen to run a Content Farm Channel similar to Elsagate Content of their own, just nowhere near as creepy, but moreso cringy.
i was exposed to this at 5 FIVE and i was using youtube kids... Im quite happy that most of them are gone. i hope that it will be completely removed soon
If I remember correctly, the first ElsaGate purge happened when a lawsuit was filed against UA-cam for allowing those traumatizing videos to be on their site. Looks like another lawsuit is in order. (I could be wrong about this though.)
I’m glad someone said it. I’ve grown up with Elsagate practically 2/5 of my life and from that left genuine trauma. I remember not only Elsa and spider man but Jack Frost and other bullshit along those lines. I found out and was intoxicated by the topic of intercourse at the age of 7. Simply with UA-cam and safari I could sneak and watch litteral pornography. I admit I was fucked up as a child but the fact that no one said anything was worse. I’m now 16 and know many kids who are slowly but sure getting invested in Elsa gate. I always take procaution and advice the parents on what their watching + the effects in them. I just hope these videos get taken down because kids who are the future of this world should not grow up like the way I and others did. Edit: bro just thinking about this topic reminds me on how deep I got into the rabbit whole that I deadass remembered the time I watched animations of literal people shitting in their partners mouth. It was so realistic it looked like internal organs…
Yea. It never went down. I grew up seeing that kind of thing, and I avoided most of in in favor of Minecraft and Roblox, but I watched a lot of the stop motion ones and animated ones that I was curious about. The animated ones were too stupid and ugly for me as a child though.
I didn’t necessarily watch elsa gate, but I remember also becoming almost addicted in a way to the idea of intercourse at an extremely young age. While I didn’t watch elsa gate I watched a lot of more mature youtubers who would make jokes I didn’t understand, so I’d look it up, and one thing would lead to another. It’s saddening looking back on it. I feel like I grew up too fast due to my young exposure of the internet. I wish I didn’t have such unrestricted access. And I see it on my classmates too, all of us try acting so mature and so adult for our ages. Kids can’t be kids anymore and teens can’t be teens. I feel like growing up with the Internet warped all of our views on life for the worst. I hope one day we can find a solution for this. I miss the days when you could be a stupid kid and not worry about getting bullied or harassed for it.
Here's my experience. I was around in the good old days of elsagate. I used to think the content was funny, because it had those "funny" topics. But I knew something was wrong. It felt wrong to watch. I would only watch it when my parents were upstairs or at work. After a while, I couldn't stop. When my dad left for work, I would put on my headphones and watch the horrible content. It made me feel some sort of rush. One day, I came home from school. My mother told me about some weird Momo challenge or something. I was scared and forgot about UA-cam for a couple months. When I came back, I was a bit more mature, and stopped watching those videos. But, it was still 2017. My little sister loved watching her favorite characters being chopped up, or being pregnant. I was angry with her for watching those types of videos. Years later, my little sister got into using UA-cam. This is now. I try to steer her into the right path of videos. Sometimes, when she thinks she's sneaky, I'll catch her watching "poppy playtime Minecraft" or something. I'm disappointed in her sometimes. She's old enough to understand that what she's watching is very dangerous. I'm trying to correct her but still can't get over the horrible memories of my favorite characters being stabbed by needles. I am traumatized by Elsagate content.
As someone on the younger end of gen z, thank you for making this video. I know it's 7 months old, but it's great. I would watch the shopkins unboxing videos during the whole Elsagate thing, but I definitely do remember those thumbnails quite vividly. I always had a very big hatred for them and up until now I couldn't tell why. I really hope parents can see this video so that they can protect their children from these harmful videos. You're doing amazing work.
The big problem is, most kids are curious, most of them will click the thumbnails and many of those will find it entertaining. These videos are made entertaining in a disgusting and weird way, the way which children like it, its like theyre being sucked in.
I totally agree, this topic isn’t nearly being covered enough. You’re amazing! Side note: Elsagate merchandise (Poppy plushies, fnf pop-it toys, etc) is being sold at small mall vendors, I’ve seen it. Making fake products of what kids see online and selling it to them is absolutely disgusting.
In some ways this has been going on far longer than elsagate. There's a reason kids channels on TV tell you that a show is going to commercial. Kids don't have as good of a grasp on knowing when people are trying to sell them stuff. In the 80's most children's programs were just 20 minute toy commercials.
This is why I've always said that my kids will be educated on the evils of the internet. As a kid raised on the internet, I know what unsupervised access to this stuff can do to a kid. Back in my day it was gore sites and screamers, and I won't lie and say I don't feel like I was worse off for having access to that stuff. I feel like my innocence was lost when I got access to the internet.
No but fr. I have a little brother. He’s 6 years old and I can’t even imagine him being exposed to these things. I remember when I was in school and riding the bus and overhearing children-anywhere from ages 6 to probably 9 talking about drugs, sex/porn, shooting people, etc. It was awful. Its so easy for a child to be exposed to all sorts of things at a young age…. It’s just frankly sickening… It’s sad that you even gotta educate kids about these things-but if you don’t-someone/something else will…
@@lebowlmart4425 G0re sites are certainly no better. I really don't know how I got involved in it, but the accessibility allowed me to fall into a pit of gross stuff as a kid that I'm struggling to manage right now. It's a real issue. I managed to skip most of the bad stuff, but the stuff I DID find probably influenced me for the worst.
@@monniemai1592 for sure, man. I used to have nightmares about the cartel chainsaw execution video from back in the day. I didn't seek it out, it found me by chance. I'd say a healthy amount of the cynicism and misanthropy I feel to this day could be attributed to that stuff. Because the internet is so prevalent in the world, people think it's a safe place to be. The reality is that the gross shit is hidden under the surface. It's still there, in fact it's totally gotten worse. It's just not super visible to the regular public
This is a very difficult topic because it runs so deep, from parents just putting their kids in front of a screen unmonitored to the greed of the people making these videos, to games like Roblox popularising it to UA-cam not caring that it's there. At almost every step just people caring more about money than the brains of actual children
reading these comments from those who were children during elsagate, my heart is absolutely broken. elsagate began when i was a young teenager (i want to say 13-14 years old), so i was old enough at the time to recognize how bad it was. i would even talk to my aunt about it, as my little niece spent a lot of time watching youtube kids on her ipad and i was concerned about what all she was being exposed to. i remember sitting and thinking about what was going to come of all of it, and how it was going to affect those who were watching it so young. i mean, i'm an adult now and looking back at those videos, they still make my skin crawl. (i'm trying to hold back tears as i'm writing this right now, lol.) i'm so, so sorry to those of you who were negatively affected by this kind of content. no child deserves to suffer the loss of their innocence from videos like these that involved characters they loved and that were supposed to be safe.
my nephew unfortunately had experienced this, he was taken to Juvy for 2 days and suspended for a month for indecent exposure in the middle of a classroom. Had I known about Elsagate sooner, I would've shown his father all the content criticizing it and talked with him about being more vigilant its gut wrenching watching all these kids just get distorted into perverse and hyperbolic ideas of what a person should be.
As a kid, I never had any parental guards on my internet access. Now that I’m an adult, I feel as though I matured too early. And that was due to the amount of things I stumbled upon when I was little. And I stand by the argument of keeping your damn kids off the internet.
Did parents forget about parental locks? I had a computer with internet access since I was 6 or so, but my Dad had a block on every website he personally didn't add to the bookmarks. Hell, UA-cam wouldn't become OK territory for us until I was around 10-ish (UA-cam was definitely a lot edgier in the 2000s). As we got older, less websites became unblocked and by the time I was a teenager, the entire internet was unblocked for us since at that point we knew that there was fucked up stuff all over the internet and how to avoid it.
Even though I'm not an adult just yet, I think the exposure to content similar to this had a similar effect. I just really wished I could've stayed a little more innocent for a little longer as a kid
@@Aku_Karya yeah same, and I feel sick watching this video, not because it’s bad or the person making it is rude or any of that, I can tell that this guy truly cares and wants to share the information to better educate the public, it’s just that so many times I would fall into the trap of these kinds of videos, letting my curiosity get the best of me, and I would always feel so guilty and upset, so even now, being much older it leaves an awful taste in my mouth. You always want to be older till you realize what you had as a kid.
I really respect that honestly

It's frustrating how supermariologan received hell for making funny videos with Mario characters yet shit like that gets to stay without consequences
@lemonb9961 Alright, thanks for the explanation, to help with your grammar though, you should say "Our people just aren't educated enough"

This resonated so hard with me.
Same here. Absolutely appalling.
It just happens that Cocomelon is on Netflix AND is a monetized UA-cam channel
Same thing, I have some very young familiars, like not even 2 years old, and the parents give him the phpne and let him watch cocomelon, and I watched and heared, about it being bad for kids, I told them to stop letting him watch cocomelon and all that content, but after watching, I want to share them this video, sadky that we're in spain and they don't know a lot of english

I had to scroll so far down to see this comment mentioning REAL CHILDREN being injected with a syringe and it’s horrible.

The saddest part is, I'm not even suprised by 70% of this stuff. Child exploitation for profit or more sinister intentions are so common on the Internet. But regardless thank you so much for making this video and informing your viewers how bad this """kids content""" really is.

I'd argue simply banning them untill an age is not really going to solve it.
It’s horrific, and I honestly fear how many twisted people are going to exist in the future because they were subjected to this at a young age.

this comments section is heartbreaking… i’m 22 and couldn’t even make it through the first five minutes of this video because the imagery was so disturbing. i grew up watching Spongebob and iCarly, and didn’t have free internet access until middle school. i remember seeing the movie “Coraline” when i was 8 and it gave me nightmares for years. as a hypersensitive child, being exposed to this kind of content would have quite literally broken me psychologically. the fact that this disturbing content has given so many people kinks is just so unbelievably sad, and i feel so lucky that my innocence was preserved as a child.
I think I'm desensitized because I've literally seen all of the stuff seen in the first couple of clips in this video 😭😭
Elsagate at its prime really did take my innocence as a young child. caused me to have really gross fetishes that im trying to get rid of.
Disgusting.
I saw a kid with a huggy wuggy plushie at the grocery store.
Do you think he was actually going to do that? I used to tell my mom I would run away from home all the time. I never did of course.

You're gonna be a great dad. Wishing you the best
I was. I was for years
I can see you being a great dad wishing you the best
I wish the best for you man some people can do some disgusting shit.
@@lobsterboywonder Simple solution, UA-cam is held accountable for the content users upload Targeted to kids
Make a whole ass seperate ruleset for content aimed at kids, not the same vague guidelines
Videos marked for kids also shouldn't be auto-flaged by AI, Ive seen furry vore (with vore in the tittle) be classified automatically as "for kids"
Videos targgeted for kids shouldn't be published unless verified by a real person, and have a limit on how many videos can be uploaded in a given time, to avoid exploitation of low quality content
@@jesusramirezromo2037 question is, are they actually going to do that or anything for that matter? I have my doubts but a creative solution. I like it
YT Kids shouldn't even exist since you're supposed to be thirteen to have an account on UA-cam. I wish predators and the lousy misinformation political channels like Tim Pool or ShoeOnHead, not to mention the exploitative family vlogging channels
didn't exist to ruin people's livelihoods and fuck up kids.

I Finally matured, and was able to get away from that stuff. same, oh my god,
i’m literally only just hearing about how bad elsagate ACTUALLY was
My god, that's disturbing.
Yes

Do they use UA-cam Kids? If so, have them be on regular UA-cam; stuff like this is less likely to be recommended to them that way.
Ironic, I know.
This is part of why I have a personal belief that nobody should be allowed to even visit the internet until they turn 13
Or they should start treating the Internet like it’s a warzone.
Nah, age of 13 is too strict. The mature age for most people starts around 6-7 years, maybe 8, and after this kids have the ability to make rational decisions on what they should not touch
You could also just tell them about internet safety, prohibit dangerous websites, explain how it's bad to watch certain videos. Not simply restricting the access, because restricting access could simply be harmful.
@@pteroI think they should be able to play SOME mobile games but I don't think anyone under the age of 10 near stuff like UA-cam.
@@ptero 6-8 is a mature age?
you can also see elsagate being spread to childrens toys as well. a lot of toys have recently been toilet or poop related, and its just kind of weird..

We biologically don't find human body contact and saliva and things disgusting when in the heat because, well, those that didn't were able to complete the deed and have kids with similar traits passed down, while those who got grossed out and never had the "gross meter" switched off during the heat, probably weren't successful in their propagation
But we know that sexuality and taboo tends to be linked, I don't want to make guesses or reasoning but just point out the correlation.
(1) preganacy, sex, needles and poop; (2) they are adult-related themes; (3) they are easily accessible to adults unlike something like war or radicalisation which fits the first 2 not the 3rd, and (4) throw in a cartoon character to ease in the kids

As to why Vietnam? (btw I like how you said Vietnam and then zoomed into an Indian name) I'm guessing these reasons:
(1) quick and easy money making scheme by people in a region without much regulation and care,
(2) forced.
Same line as those Vietnamese videos of "daily vlogs" of cooking or cleaning, where shorts are shot and loose, and blouse are huge and low hanging, and lots of unnecessary back-breaking bending done
(3) they are grooming. Honestly it can be brutal to try and maintain flawless look here, but I digress
Anyways, you can deduce that this also means very predatory folks come to Vietnam for a certain "flavour".
And among those with paraphilia, it's is not uncommon for someone to have multiple of them.
So how do you make more money and capture more markets and dig deep into niche markets in this brutal unregulated slave ring? Groom.
That's possibly that's happening. It's a two step thing, though I doubt they realised it was 2 step, but just wanted to groom the folks that they can then kidnap or convince to join their slave ring:
(a) kids watching become more comfortable and hence less repulsive to such things, especially when it's delivered in such a fetished way
(b) at risk youths watching, who do not know better and may not have appropriate parental guidance, might unknowingly develop the fetish and paraphilia. Hence increased client base
Idk might be a bit far fetched but maybe?
Sad basically no one but me will even see this. Take a like.

It's just one of many examples, there was that Trollz doll that would do weird giggles when you touched her privates between her legs (there was a huge outrage about it a couple years ago).
They especially try to make it difficult to report people
Most parents have no idea, though, which is understandable.

WONDER PETS. GREAT ALTERNATIVE.
Yeah when i was around 7-9 i used to watch Sims and creepypasta stuff out of spite because they never explained to me why it was a bad idea, it may have not stopped me completely but if someone told me “you might be scarred by those creepypasta pictures for the rest of your life “ it might have scared me out of it

please if you can get him off youtube and/or have him watch cartoons that will actually learn him something
You should probably moderate the videos he watches if that's the case, you should also tell him that it scarred you so he has a higher chance of obeying.

You already have a daughter and are my age wtf?
unfortunately having kids young is very common where i’m from. i have a 2 year old and twins on the way. but that doesn’t mean i live off of my parents and did nothing with my life. i completed my bachelors in Pharmaceutical science this year, and our daughter lives a more than comfortable life because of our hard work. she never has to want for anything, i’m very fortunate to be where i am and i’m well aware of it.

Interesting
Just remembered the study time vs Roblox s*x meme
ah yes it seems people find blocks hot, don't even get me started on meepcity.
Yeah. I’ve been playing roblox for years. It’s real bad.
I don't get it, why would someone want to [Stimulate] a block?
It's a God damn cube!

I was exposed to elsagate ish stuff when I was a child I am a teen now and am horrified of how I found it
Edit: I am okay now but it still creeps me out sometimes
yeah, it's sometimes like you can't look people in the eye or admit it, so the shame builds up and you start to distance yourself from others.
at least, that's what happened to me.
for more context:
i was lucky to avoid weird animation videos, but i was still a curious little kid. directly, i searched a phrase up in google and saw those images in a flash. poor brain was hooked and it definitely clouded my thoughts often. fortunately for my classmates at that time, i didn't say anything. in fact, people thought i was fully clean and innocent. i mean, i didn't get some green jokes, but i've seen the stuff. i would've been happier if i just didn't try that day.

i’m an adult now and i saw content like this but with my little pony and to say it traumatized me would be an understatement. i haven’t been able to talk about what i saw and i will not go into detail bc i just can’t. it’s made me terrified of intimacy bc i thought someone had to be harmed in serious and sometimes fatal ways during it. i cannot even kiss someone without feeling sick and threatened bc of what i saw. i’ll never forgive those people who manipulated mlp and turned it into their own pron. i will never forget.
im so glad i didn't come across those videos when i was younger, while i had a phone and was into mlp.

That just brings back a bunch of memories. I think I saw the same type of videos you did, since I also was a 5 year old who liked MLP lmao
I freaking remember that animation of pinkie pie literally killing the entierity of the main cast when I was 6 💀💀💀
Good thing my parents caught me wacthing that now
I grew up in the early-mid 00's.
16:00 This is sick. Terrible. How do people even do this? UA-cam has to step up their safety. You can even hear him trying not to cry.
Oh my god I did not realize that he was about to cry…

Jesus fuck, I feel like i'm getting exorcised
It was so realistic it looked like internal organs…
jesus christ. i cant imagine what that must be like for someone of that age to be exposed to that. my heart goes out to you and all others affected ❤.
Hes just Like me frfr
That sounds horrific, I hope you managed to find healing.
The only solution is to not let children use UA-cam. The same way children can't go into a strip club

I have the same experience
Same except I actually clicked on a few and left horrified because I knew what was going on and it was even worse when I knew the context
What a Fortnite baby
The big problem is, most kids are curious, most of them will click the thumbnails and many of those will find it entertaining. These videos are made entertaining in a disgusting and weird way, the way which children like it, its like theyre being sucked in.
I totally agree, this topic isn’t nearly being covered enough. You’re amazing!
Side note: Elsagate merchandise (Poppy plushies, fnf pop-it toys, etc) is being sold at small mall vendors, I’ve seen it. Making fake products of what kids see online and selling it to them is absolutely disgusting.
IVE SEEN THE ELSAGATE MERCH TOO OMG I LITERALLY ALMOST PUKE EVERYTIME I SEE THEM it’s so sad…
I didn't know they had them! What disgusting creatures. They should go to jail.
In some ways this has been going on far longer than elsagate. There's a reason kids channels on TV tell you that a show is going to commercial. Kids don't have as good of a grasp on knowing when people are trying to sell them stuff. In the 80's most children's programs were just 20 minute toy commercials.
There's a stand like that in the mall near me that has plushes from Poppy Playtime, FNF, Sonic.exe, Alphabet Lore(?), etc.
I really love Sun and Moon from FNAF SB. It pains me terribly whenever I see them in the crappy mall kiosks,,,, if they get DHMIS characters I’m done
Had I known about Elsagate sooner, I would've shown his father all the content criticizing it and talked with him about being more vigilant

As a kid, I never had any parental guards on my internet access. Now that I’m an adult, I feel as though I matured too early. And that was due to the amount of things I stumbled upon when I was little. And I stand by the argument of keeping your damn kids off the internet.
The early maturity rate was beneficial to me in my experience. I do believe that kids shouldn't have access to comment sections however.
