I have to say this is a beautiful station. Those who live, and work here should be proud of how well kept it is and a fairly hidden design concept, for such a large station. This was a pretty peaceful film, I have a bit going on right now and this really calmed me. Proper in every way. Thanks so much! B.P.
This was my first time here and I have to say I was really Impressed with the whole layout of the station and the local area when I was driving in :) I'm glad to hear that you find my films relaxing :)
A great film and really good to be reminded of many active running lines as well as parked GBRF locos and wagons. A super watch, especially with the voiceover, it makes the film
Thanks very much, this another one of my personal favourite stations to come to. If you time it right you can get such a great variety of traffic passing through here or even stabled in the yard adjacent to the station
Eastleigh is like a junction for freight and the passenger services on the SWML between London Waterloo, Portsmouth Harbour, Southampton Central and Southampton Airport, also Southampton Airport is mostly for Flybe and Southampton Airport Parkway is right between Southampton Central and Eastleigh for services towards London Waterloo, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.
You're very lucky to see 2 158s operating on Romsey-Salisbury via Southampton. Those services have the nicknames of "Romsey Rockets" or the more boring sounding "Figure 6 Stoppers" and its usually a single 158 or in some rare cases a single 159. Very good video :)
Well thanks for giving me that information, I must admit I wasn't overly aware that SWR had any 158's in their fleet. I'll try and remember these nicknames for when I'm next on the network
Cool, 158s usually work Romsey-Salisbury via Southampton Central, Exeter Sr Davids to Honiton/Axminster stoppers and they also sometimes join 159s on services to Exeter or Bristol from Waterloo. They are also hired by GWR every so often to work in Devon or along the Golden Valley Line (Swindon to Gloucester via Stroud) and they sometimes do services to Bristol and Great Malvern once again on hire to GWR.
Within the next couple of months, haven't been able to get to much work done to it lately but hopefully with the weather improving I can make more progress
Good it's nice to see the planes when filming at railway stations but I'm good at war planes original planes and none powered planes because I go to the shuttle worth collection at old warden to see them

I love Eastleigh station. I commute there regularly and the never ending 66s and occasional 37s always brighten up my day.
This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it, will definitely be coming back

Another cracking video as always and the Flybe aircraft was a dash 8 Q400
Eastleigh is also one of the main depot for freight trains as well just like the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.
Great video! I have to say, you're my favourite UA-camr! Keep up the good work!
Thank you ever so much for saying so that really is greatly appreciated :)
Another fantastic video! Loved the three GBRf Class 66s!
Thanks ever so much for saying so I'm glad you liked it :) I loved seeing the three stabled class 66's
@@Tornado922 what numbers were on the stabled class 66s xx

Great video your videos are getting better so still keep up the good work.
Thank you for saying so
Those small aircrafts you saw are Flybe on purplely blue and white and light blue.
That was a list of recommendations of doing some train and plane spotting only.
That's a very big list to try and get through
Lovely stuff there! Always wanted to go to Eastleigh! Great to see some freight there!
It's a great station to go to, I would love to come back here to try and catch some more freight workings

Awesome Video. I absolutely Enjoyed it very Much :)
Thanks very much for saying so :) I'm glad you enjoyed watching this
Tornado922 😊😊👍👍
You did do a train ride from Southampton Airport Parkway to London Waterloo on the SWML ages ago since it was called South West Trains that time.
I stopped filming those as they weren't getting as many views as I had hoped for. But I may bring them back to my channel at a later date
Cross country can mostly go from Bournemouth and Southampton Central to Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle Central via Basingstoke and Reading.
Beautiful station
It most certainly is
nice to see the swml my local line
I'm going to try and focus more time on it next year
When will we see more of your garden railway?
Within the next couple of months, haven't been able to get to much work done to it lately but hopefully with the weather improving I can make more progress
Very nice video
Thanks very much I'm glad you liked it
my opinion of the cute planes is like your bus!! so yeah certainly not my favorite the dash 8. Great video.
Well now I know your not overly fond of those airplanes ;) My knowledge of them is completely hopeless haha
After rainham can you do Maidstone east on the southeastern mainline
I'm going to Ashford International next then I'm going to Sheffield

As long as I'm not committed to going elsewhere on the day in question then yes I will go to Ebbsfleet International with you
Nice
Thanks
The planes were fly be
I know :)
They go to holland the Flybe
How do you know (in great detail) which train is "about to pass by"?
Use this website called Real Train Times in detailed mode
Rocky's Trains Aha I see, thanks for that.
What he said ^^ haha
158s don't go to London do they.
Keiran Clarke occasionally yes but not as much as 159s.
I prefer the 350s to the 444s and 450s but they are still ok.
Another cracking video as always and the Flybe aircraft was a dash 8 Q400
