That "Flash" cameo is fantastic, I love it when the big two sneak in nods at each other. That said, if we want to be pedantic weenies about this, that same crossover that gave Quicksilver a buff also showed Flash was basically powerless in the Marvel universe since it doesn't have a Speed Force to tap into.
It kinda makes sense when you consider Barry Allen was then currently missing because of the Crisis, so this was Marvel's way of ending his story in a neat speedster race. Although I'm sad we didn't get to see him interact with the Whizzer.
This was a few years after Barry Allen’s death in Crisis on Infinite Earths, so it was sort of a tribute to that. According to the Marvel wiki, he stuck around and joined another cosmic race, going by the name FastForward. In it he sacrificed his lead against Makkari and the Runner in order to deal with a contestant who was cheating by taking out other racers when they went after Makkari. Said cheater was also man-sized rabbit called Fooferah.
If you decide to make some of these for previous snap characters, I'd love to see a video on Armor. I've never seen her in a movie or cartoon, and she's both a cool looking character as well as very impactful to Snap.
You don't get those types of crossovers often (for good reason), but Marvel or DC having a references to their competition characters and universe in a blink and you miss it moment is so fun, but this was one of their biggest uses of that.... Not the last time a Eternal references DC characters in their stories with movie saying Superman, Batman and Alfred.
When the black winter or whatever happened to Herald Thor there was another moment I can think of, showing heroes in universes that fell, one of them being a city with streaks of justice league colors
A central part of the game is who's side will trigger first. So, kinda like Martyr or Lizard or Maximus, this is another character that gets you power on the field fast so you can trigger first.
I'm gonna be honest, Eternals was not my favourite movie. But I really, reall, really, liked Makkari in that movie. She has the best on-screen speed powers I've ever seen, she had an awesome fight with Ikaris, she had a really cute relationship with Druig and she wears red (love that) I'm not the biggest fan of race swapping in general, cause I think it's lazy. But I really liked her in that movie, she was easily my favourite character next to Druig
One of my favorites. First he was a white guy. Then he had a South Asian look starting with Gaiman's run and through Knauf's run. Then under Gillen, a dark skin woman who is deaf. The deafness is great for a character mistaken for writing gods.
Probably not. The key word on the card is flavor text, "Runs". When M'baku "jumps" at the end of a game, it's not considered a "Move". Makkari's text is not "Play", like Mysterio either. She doesn't play herself. I'd imagine she's most similar to Shanna's "Add", and M'baku's end of game effect.

The Flash shows up, wins, can't elaborate, then presumably leaves. Kind of a strange story.

There's a direct correlation between the quality of my day and the presence of a new Nando video
I love letting these videos stack up so I can watch a hour of comic content.
great video! Suggestion for future videos, maybe put the reading recommendations in the video description or as text onscreen?

I like this card cuz I can safely skip this week and save my tokens/keys. Spotlight versions of X23 and Gladiator are pretty dope tho
I was looking forward to this video so much omg

Can you do this for the rest of the Eternals?? @ least the 1s in the movie?
I’ve learned a lot
“Cerebro decks aren’t that great” literally as last turn ends as I lose to a cerebro deck
Hey man appreciate your channel. I wanted to ask if you could talk about Hisako (Armor) from the X-Men. You might know her if you've seen the anime.
Me getting Mmakari when I just wanted X-23... Hopefully I can get another Collection Key or two before the week ends.

I love Makkari so much!! I’m so glad they changed her to a woman, much more interesting
ASL queen
Hey question can you design a Justin Hammer card?
I'm literally uses keys to get the X-23 variant. Kinda hoping I "miss" Makarri lol. But if I do pull them I won't beat myself up about it lol
So, he's Lightray 2.0
Will it trigger move activated cards like Kraven?
Probably not. The key word on the card is flavor text, "Runs".

I'll be honest - prefer your movie review way more than character reviews.
Forced MCU Synergy is cringe and will always be cringe
