Smolikas - In the heart of the Pindus Mountains

An unforgetable adventure climbing Smolikas, the highest peak of the Pindus Mountains and the second highest in Greece.
The journey began early in the morning from Smolikas Mountain Hut on a beautiful spring day, but the we encountered unexpected snow and ice as we ascended towards the summit. The descent proved to be even more challenging as we navigated down from the melting snow.
