Good reaction. Considering they wrote this when they were 12 there is a lot of clever word play in the song. There are two counting systems in Japan, in one 4 is yon, in the other 4 is shi. Shi also means death or to die, so the number 4 is considered unlucky and is avoided and shunned. What they were doing here is listing lots of other words that also have 'shi' in them (eg bitaminshi = vitamin C) and saying, they don't mean 'to die' so neither does shi as 4, it is all silly superstition. The choreo is clever too - not only were they holding up 4 fingers, a lot of their poses (eg standing with one leg crossed over the other) signify 4 and even the bits holding their finger to their lips like they would be saying "shhh" - in Japan that would also be "shi".
