Well done. I have a Chev C15A short wheel base blitz that was used as a spray rig on a farm. I have fully restored it & enjoy all the Comments from the old boys who used them in the war & after.

The Mighty Blitz with the 216 blueflame stovebolt six, a real workhorse. In the West Australian timber industry many were worked to death with a jib on the back snigging and loading logs they were called Quads. I have one which is badly battered and work worn but still starts first go!!
She's running pretty good ! I have a short wheel base chev blitz I freed the engine up mine in 97 and had it running I used Holden 2o2 or 186 rings ,but I could have got genuine chev rings she was great fun very short turning circle was going to change out the single speed transfer for a two speed one , unfortunately I ended up working away for a few years and some kids pulled the cowling ( a ford one ) back and knocked off the air cleaner and water entered via the carby and it seized again ! It should ha e been shredded of course .I ha e seen FG toyoto engines running in blitzes .R

They are a very solidly built truck that can handle almost anything. Those old long stock engines have lots of talk and will usually keep running
If only I were 20 years younger and still working I would love that vehicle, if it were for sale,
