You should do a livestream video of the one that takes two days to go!!! A friend gave me a small rectangle sand art and I immediately started wondering if I could make one - then I started thinking I wanted to make a giant one…. I came across your videos and it’s pretty much exactly what I want to do! I’m really excited about the fact they can be made to trickle down for so long. I thought about using a glass coffee table top as the front glass… do you think this is a bad idea??? I am still trying to decide how to do the backing to mount it… probably a piece of wood on some ball bearings, but I am still in the early stages and I imagine if the circle was too easy to spin, like with ball bearings, that it may tilt a direction I don’t want, and seek to balance itself if I was trying to get the picture to rest with the sand all on one side…. Anyway, your work is phenomenal and we would love to see more of it!
