- Turkey Necks are very delicious and doesn't call for a lot of ingredients. They could be cooked on top of the stove or in the oven. They just have to cook for several hours until tender.
I just start watching your videos and you remind me so much of me the way you put the seasoning your eyeball everything just like me, and checking, the turkey neck with the fork. I do the same.but the the spice that I use garlic black pepper salt and butter and I let it cook until falls apart but I will try yours. They look amazing. and I saved some of your recipes God bless😋😋👏👏🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

now THIS is kinda content im looking for- never understood why people toss necks and other giblets. good stuff
I know that's right.
I was born and raised in Maine and the only thing we got rid of if we had it was the liver because it makes everything bitter. I can remember when my family was alive my dad chasing my aunt around the house with the turkey neck! I just purchased 30 lb of turkey necks last week. if you live in the North it needs to be a special order and I paid $40 for 30 pounds of succulent meat! :-)
Yep! If you have not tried cooking any yet, wooooo! They can turn out to be taaaaasty
Fantastic job
4:36 I like the way you remove the top and stir the spices around, when they're clumped up in the shaker. Great tip! I just usually bang the shaker against the sink until the neighbors start to complain.
That's the easiest way to me.
😂😂 as do I !!
🤣🤣🤣🤣till neighbors complain...funny!!!
Thanks for the recipe it came out great
You are so welcome!
It looked so good I'll be cooking it tomorrow thank u so much 💓

Man, that looks good!!! Rice goes great with soooo many dishes. Think I'll do your recipe and add some fresh spinach leaves on the bottom of the plate, so they'll get wonderfully wilted and add some color to this already wonderful dish. Thanks for sharing this. New sub!
Sounds good.

@@georgiacookingforthesoul I tried it and this was so good. I did 2 packs of turkey necks so I added 2 lipton onion envelopes to have extra gravy left over, and my kids loved it. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
Glad you all liked it. You are so welcome!
You be safe too honey! :-)
Thank You!
How long do you let the necks cook? medium or low flame?
Cook on medium.
Hello! how long did they cook?
About two hours, check for tenderness with a fork.
I would make these in my Instapot.
That will work fine.
Does it makes it own gravy ?
Yes it does.
Looks so delicious
Thank you 😋
Food bank gave me turkey necks.thank you.
You are welcome!
I bet that folks down the Street can Smell this Goodness!!!!!😋😋
Thank You!
How long did you cook your neck bones for before you added the flour and water
About fifteen minutes before you turn off the stove add the flour water and cook until the gravy is thick.
I love good, tender turkey necks over rice.
Turkey Necks over rice are very delicious.
How much water did you add to your flour mixture?
The amount of water to your thickening is a little about four tablespoons.
How long did you cook the turkey necks on the stove?
I am pretty sure that they cooked for two hours, But to make sure your necks or any meat that you cook are done is by checking the tenderness of the meat if it's the tenderness you like then it's done.
Thank you so much
@@derrickmarshall4455 You are Welcome!
When do you add the flour?
When you have about 30 to 40 minutes of cook time left.
@@georgiacookingforthesoul thank you!!
So do you have to pull off all the skin ?
All that you could pull off.
Thank you so much for replying quickly ! I’m making them now
You are welcome! I hope you enjoy them.
I need two to three necks for a meal 😂🤣
I know that's right.
9.5/10 u didn’t tell me how long to cook it for
I can't give you a time, because everyone stove cooks different, so I am going to say cook until tender and that means when you can stick a fork in it. Once you could stick a fork in the meat then let the broth cook down to a taste
It would b nice if we could see what u doing...
sorry; you couldn't see, anything you want explained to you?
@@georgiacookingforthesoul oh no I made ur recipe tonight and it was delicious thank u
What was the total cook time ??
About Two hours.
Will you make a meatloaf auntie?
Already have one on my channel. But will make another one soon.
I've never seen this method
Try it for yourself.
That Sista Can Cook!!!!!!!!💙💜✊🏽
Thank You so much!
Nice recipe but I would add some butter beans to the dish
You can that would be good. I don't remember what vegetable I had with this dish.
When showing people how to cook something make sure to include how long you let it cook, medium high or low. Please!!!
I surely will! But your meat have to cook until tender and to know when it's tender check with a fork. If the fork goes into the meat it's done. Then cook until the broth is low enough and thickens if you add a thickener.
I can't tell you how long to cook your meat, because everyone oven cooks different.
What kind of soap mix you use for your turkey necks
Lipton onion soup dummy.
@@Lma1974 what was the point of being rude
@@Lma1974 Uh, I think he meant soup mix
Lipton onion
Wish we could see how she is getting the skin off
Use a knife and just pull it off. It's not hard to do.
Can you cook them over night ?
yes!
Are we supposed to watch her wash each and every one
No; if you don't want too. The decision is yours.
This has 5345 mg per serving. Recommended sodium is less than 2300 mg/day. Sodium content conservatively calculated for this: 06113 1mg 1 T seasoning salt 06113mg 1 T adobo salt 04350 mg chicken soup 04444 mg onion soup 360 mg butter. Total 4 servings 21380/4 = 5345 mg Na per serving
What is your point? Don't do this on my channel.
@Bob all you have to do is substitute healthy seasonings if you are counting the sodium count I do it all the time, Im sure people know that if they have high blood pressure
Why do yall continue to put up with this person's attitude???? I'm sure most of you talk behind her back behind closed doors! Damn, poor Bob was only stating facts, I'm sure he didn't mean any harm about the sodium intake! Smdh! A person who's always coming back in defense of everyyyyyyy lil comment is a poor miserable soul!!
Rhetorical dear, and the decision WAS mine. Wishing you continued success
Thank You so much Linda!
Water , down the drain, nice
Thank You! Where else does the water go?
Are you single?
