  • Turkey Necks are very delicious and doesn't call for a lot of ingredients. They could be cooked on top of the stove or in the oven. They just have to cook for several hours until tender.

I was born and raised in Maine and the only thing we got rid of if we had it was the liver because it makes everything bitter. I can remember when my family was alive my dad chasing my aunt around the house with the turkey neck! I just purchased 30 lb of turkey necks last week. if you live in the North it needs to be a special order and I paid $40 for 30 pounds of succulent meat! :-)

4:36 I like the way you remove the top and stir the spices around, when they're clumped up in the shaker. Great tip! I just usually bang the shaker against the sink until the neighbors start to complain.

I am pretty sure that they cooked for two hours, But to make sure your necks or any meat that you cook are done is by checking the tenderness of the meat if it's the tenderness you like then it's done.

    • @georgiacookingforthesoul

I surely will! But your meat have to cook until tender and to know when it's tender check with a fork. If the fork goes into the meat it's done. Then cook until the broth is low enough and thickens if you add a thickener.
