Wow! Your Christmas story about arriving on time at a family member’s house and not having a meal is crazy! We always went to Christmas Eve service and then opened one gift (since the tradition my mother had growing up was to open gifts on Christmas Eve). The rest of the gifts were opened on Christmas morning. One Christmas, the turkey hadn’t thawed so we ended up having chili. At least we had an alternative! This is a lovely golden yellow! I like the choice, too! I’m looking forward to knowing which ones you’ll vote for.
Yeah, as a kid that day felt like an adventure. As an adult I have so many different feelings about it. I love your tradition! We would go to mass on Christmas morning because there were so many young kids in the family. And the one year we convinced my mom to let us open a gift the night before.... I opened socks. 🤣🤣🤣
That Christmas story is comforting bc it shows all families are wacky. You should be so proud of your babysitting money saving the day. And hotdogs with the family you want to be with sounds way better. I started with day 20, so I need to go find the earlier ones. Golden Sands is not such a warm yellow, but pretty.
Bahahaaa, it was a very brave decision to make the last color like this. Oh well, I’m not taking the calendar serious anymore 😂 Have happy holidays Maria, thanks for accompanying me in December. I’m not sad it’s over because- Inkvent is coming! 🎉
IT'S NOT A BLUE!!! HAHAHAHA. Finally, a nice, bold, Christmas color! I like it! But not sure what I'd use it for. Major the Cat was intrigued when you were rolling the bottle around mixing up the shimmer, he thought it was some form of a cat toy. Then he rolled over in my lap for more petting, so I think he doesn't care about this ink. The one tradition I remember from growing up is that every night leading up to Christmas Eve, we'd turn on the Christmas lights, Christmas Tree, and the candles in the windows when the sun was going down, then would turn them off when we went to bed, I guess to save energy. (we kept the house at 55 deg F growing up because heating oil was so pricey - brrrrr!!!) On Christmas Eve, we left everything on all night long so when we woke up, everything was lit. Merry Christmas Maria, you're doing great! (Major would agree, but you know, food bowl rattled so he tore outta here) 🥰🥰🥰😻😻😻
That's a crazy Christmas story - the kind that could bring the immediate family together, but split the external family, maybe forever.
Hah yes definitely true. We were always a pretty tight family unit, thankfully. ♥️

It's gorgeous! I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas. 🥰
Gorgeous!! It looks like mango flesh
Huh, yeah it does! Plus shimmer. 😅🥰
I personally love the way the blue and the gold on the weekly spread make for a beautiful Ukrainian flag. :)
Oh how true! What a lovely and festive end. 💙💛🥰
Its a bold choice as a conclusion, but I like it! Glad they ended on a shimmer.
I agree! I think it's a pretty great conclusion. 🥰
This is a really pretty golden yellow. But where is the blue??? ;-D
Just an alarming lack of blue, really. 🤣🤣
