Much needed video, during this time. I attended your Demo class and very much prepared for the exam, During the journey i realized , In search of few diamonds we are leaving a golden mountain. In the past in India everyone want to leave to a developed country , But now in 2024 I can see every possible lifestyle luxury , development and innovation all exists and available in India now , but to reach it in India you Have to run one long sprint and relax , But in abroad its a marathon .
Great video Rizwan. I was happy in my country though was earning less, and when joined NHS, earning better but with stress. Every night I ponder what to choose money or financial stability or that less money with social attachments of family and relatives. Every night have these thoughts with no real conclusion. Watching this video seems like everyone passing through this stage and same feelings.
Thankyou for making this video, both sides of moving must be put online and this video coming from your channel will indeed have substantial impact on the audience.
an important video indeed, thank you. everyone has different priorities, and luck is also a big factor in life. It's best to know our own dreams and follow them, not someone else's..
Very thought provoking and insightful.I was missing living abroad since I lived in Qatar and did schooling there since childhood and then finished mbbs in Georgia and returned back to India and was thinking what to do.Now I feel more clear. Thanks for the insightful info doc.💯🤘God bless
Very clear and unbiased Analysis Done Sir, which very few doctors living abroad usually tell the juniors about. It truly needs a big heart to say the truth. Thank you so much Sir..
Perhaps it’s easier said than done to relocate your children back to India, they never feel at home . Children always feel comfortable where they grew up and for them Australia will always be their home
These words that you described in this video resonates the thought I had while I was preparing for AMC step 1. Yes, it is the reality and thank you for sharing it being unbiased. Every inch of it is true. The real thing is what we really want and truly are from inside. Through that understanding comes true happiness.
Hello doctor, I'm an IMG. Does the intern in my country have to meet the requirements of Ahpra for Australian and New Zealand medical graduates (8 weeks in emergency medical care, 10 weeks in medicine, 10 weeks in surgery)?
Thank you sir for this video I plan to do cardiology residency in Germany (6yrs), then additional 2-3 years in interventional cardiology. Would the specialist assessment outcome for me be favourable given that Germany doesn't have a clearly structured residency training and exams? I'd really appreciate your input
Specialist recognition for cardiology in Australia after completing training in Germany is possible, but the outcome will depend on the specifics of your training program. The lack of a clearly structured residency program in Germany could make it more challenging for automatic recognition, but your detailed training and experience will still play a key role. Consider booking a 1:1 session over Zoom so we can discuss your options in great detail: www.emergencyfocus.net/booking-calendar/1-1-specialist-pathway
The economy of india has much improved apparently but unfortunately the doctor community is not getting a good lifestyle there thats why a huge migration from indian doctors are seen. Their government seems rich, and actors, sportsmen, you tubers etc , but the people still are suffering . That is what i assume. I also think that indiam doctors should stay back depending upon the current situation of their country.
Sir! Currently in final year of medical school. I will be ECFMG certified Insha'Allah in 2026. Then I will apply for emergency medicine residency in Agha khan hospital and completing my MRCEM exams. After that, what will be my level and job prospects in Australia?
Brother, Financially it's difficult and impossible to survive in Pakistan. Those who survive in Pakistan think about their children facing much more difficult financial situations in their time as well as political uncertainty
4:40 isnt it counter intuitive that even doctors in India don’t list environment as key reason to move overseas. One would expect a doctor to know the ill effects of bad air on one’s health & wellbegin!
I cannot emphasize enough how much racism we face because of our background in the job market. Leadership positions are largely reserved for people with European backgrounds. Things are changing, but at a very slow pace. It will take a long time for people to truly accept a multicultural society and its values.
Sir, I am from India. I done my paramedic course ; bsc emergency medicine , I am planning to go abroad, please sir give any suggestions. Which country is good . Please reply sir thank you 🙏🏻
You have certainly escaped the rat race Increasing earnings potential is one of the best way to give back to humanity! Cultural sacrifice but life’s never perfect anywhere you go! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SIR!

Major reason is security .. though in india many might be earning more than western counterparts

Australia has many options for IMGs who want to pursue emergency medicine, must be a qualified doctor however.

Sir I work in children
It’s wonderful to know you work with children, what are your thoughts on their development here compared to back home?
If you were in India right now and in your 20s you would've chosen to leave India. I think you are in a mid life crisis.
Suddently you spoke hindi and it felt like very soothing !! Thanks
Urdu bro, but potato pahtato.
Glad you enjoyed the moment of familiarity!
Seeing you for the first time and noticed, Your lips and face moves like Manoj Muntashir😅
I appreciate you noticing the similarities, I try to be as clear and concise as possible in my communication.
Sir i just completed my undergraduate from Georgia 🇬🇪
I am planning to continue there in Australia 🇦🇺
Please kindly help me to get into the system
You will have to check AMC website for your medical school to be recognized and apply for the MCQ exams.
