Nurakami v Mitsuru was a really fun matchup cause they're both very complete characters so despite being the best characters in game, they were also both skill check characters who aren't gonna instantly guarantee dunking on the other. So watching pros play that matchup it was always really intense, this game was so fun to watch.

P4A and Ultimax were the games that got me into FGs and the knowledge I obtained from bein a sad yukiko main (pls make her good arcsys ;~;) helped as a good plateau for helping me learn other games like Tekken, Skullgirls, GG, DBFZ, etc and I’m very grateful for that. Despite that though I’ve only ever played this game with friends and discord matches, I wasn’t around for the short time this game was alive so I’d love to see you do more videos on it and learn things I never knew about the competitive scene at the time, much love LK 🙌

I didn't play P4Arena/ultimax, was going to check it during the announcement hype of Cross tag. But after that game disappointed me immeasurably, I was completely turned off on Arcsys team Blue even though I had the most fun with Central Fiction. It'd be pretty cool to hear your complete thoughts on other fighting games you've played in the past. I actually was reminiscing about this game not too long ago. Got the game back in the day, and I believe the Ultimax edition too, was a diehard Kanji main, but then BBCF got my attention and I drifted towards that. However, I never really played through an entire Persona game, but I did watch the anime for Persona 4 and that got me back into playing P3 FES. All this reminded me that there was a Fighting game and I'm kinda disappointed BBTag isn't as popular as it used to be, cause that's the most recent fighter with Persona characters as playable fighters. I don't know if P4A ever got a PC release, so that modders could implement rollback so I could get back to it. Might give it a spin with some buddies once covid is over though. Great potential for a fighting game series though, 100%.

And it was that evolution of slowly growing beyond auto combos and getting more intercut, creative, tough, and fun with your rhythms and timings seeing how you can push the game beyond auto combos that got me to finally get properly into fighting games and start getting more into competitive stuff. People who complain about them are elitist and are just slowing the growth of the FGC as a whole imho.
Yukiko was def a low tier, she had a bunch of huge issues 1 - fastest normal was extremely slow, this made it hard for to get out of pressure 2 - her reversal was a slow guard point that was easy to bait 3 - no air unblockable fans. This meant you could push aggressively, use IB to build meter + remove her neutral advances while threatening her Her offense was pretty good and she had some cheeky shit, but it paled compared to the top tiers. Totally agree about auto combos btw. At the time it was pretty controversial, but tbh I think it is just because of the name. Auto combos serve a bunch of interesting purposes and I think it is a clever, well thought out addition to fgs and a logical evolution of target combos.

Even when I block in the air her fans have such high knock back they send you back to full screen with basically nothing. It's part of why I main narukami in those games, to just get in with Zio car(the slide thing I don't remember the name of, it's been a good bit) and not have to worry about it(that and he was the one character I started to learn some fancier combos with at the time). The arena games were more a big thing for me as I was first getting into fighters more casually but even with the more technical stuff I know now I don't really have an answer for her. I'd still be stuck at full screen having to figure out a way to just circumvent the fans altogether.

Hardest things about playing Mitsuru 1 - you can't whiff normals recklessly or you will die 2 - need to stay calm since other top tiers put you in cursed situations off basically all hits 3 - you have to be cool with guessing a lot since you have to leave the opponent standing a lot There are some other things but these are the big three. Her BBTAG version lacks grace, since she has assists you can bum rush way harder. In P4A even though you out range mostly everyone you had to pay attention to ranges and make careful choices about whether or not to act (because whiffing means you're dead). Plus her offense is less degen since JB isn't free.

Becuz if they had their original moveset & mechanics, then having a Tag Team wouldn't really serve any meaning, especially with the possibility of doing TOD combos. However, I mostly see BBTag as an Easy and Casual Tag Team Fighting Game, especially for newcomers or people who are newly interested in Fighting Games. This said, what do you think of her in terms of a Tag Team & lastly, what would you do to make Mitsuru or any Character of your Preference better in BBTag?
