Thank you very much. I appreciate the kind words. I don’t know. It was one of the guides flies. Basically looked like a Kwan in a different color. Darker, I believe it was black and purple. I always suggest when fishing with a guide to use whatever they suggest.
Great rod. Now a days any high end rod is going to be comparable to each other. The gap was much greater back in the day but companies and tech have caught up enough where you can’t go wrong. If you have the chance I would go and cast it. Along with the right line. The line can make or break any rod.
Can be! Especially in fisheries with clearer water. Louisiana is more forgiving with their water being murky. For instance, I fish the water a bit differently in a place like Mosquito Lagoon where the water is a LOT more clear.
that was funny AF!!! Great video.
Thank you very much. Despite the tragedy, we definitely had a good time.

Great video! What do you think of the T&T Exocett SS 250? I have had my eye on that for a while now.
Great rod.

Completely understandable 😂
Who's that rocking the 239flies shirt? That's my home shop!
That’s your local legend DaveTeper!
One day if I run into you on the Henrys Fork lunch is on me. Frost Top?
Haha! Thank you very much for the invite!
So what Exocett SS was you actually using: 250 or 350?
250
@@Wish4Fish Did you like it as a presentation rod? I use it with heavy grain full sinking lines with streamers.
Hardly call chucking streamers in Louisiana "presentation." 😉 Plus there's noting subtle about the Gulf Redfish line. It's like casting a fire hose.
@@Wish4Fish Ok. Makes sense. I thought its more like Bonefish fishing.
