It's because it's made woth a rail system that uses pins to align things. The pins are very gravity dependent so if you hold it wrong and turn it it will pop internally Lowkey wish there was a way to make this puzzle with an actual core but with how deep the cuts are I think that would be impossible without making the puzzle absolutely massive
You understand the puzzle thoroughly. As you may know that Greg have designed this puzzle in a much smaller size. But I don’t believe his design will be mass produced in the near future. Gravity pin is an acceptable answer for this, not the best because we’ve known the better design but I think it’s interesting because it can be one of the answers of 48 cube, or the Big Chop.
