- Two women were killed, and three children were critically hurt after a mass shooting in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Thursday morning, according to Chicago police.

It’s obvious if people just pay attention even at their jobs, I mean, I clicked at the screen so watch the story and I noticed that she have two black eyes and I am not a detective. It takes to solve a lot of these crimes as somebody to do their job at the department.

This violence is everywhere. Everyday watching the news will inform you its not just in Chicago, or Illinois. This violence is all over the United States and the world. Violence does not restrict itself to cities or suburbs or countries( I.e. the current wars) but it is indicating the state of some individuals minds. Sadly, those who are attempting to live honest, decent human lives must live on the same planet with those who choose violence. Its a choice each individual must make everyday. Choose peace, Choose truthful, honest , positive communication
That's what I'm thinking. Maybe it's easier said than done to get out. I would have to figure out some way to get out. This is crazy.

Black people in black neighborhoods are human beings and Americans. This is a tragedy. What will make it worse is when the Criminal Justice circles the wagons for the murderers, doing all they can to make sure justice is not done. Inadequate investigations, reluctance to arrest, released to await trial,additional crimes in the interim, prosecutors reluctant to charge, reducing the charges, Judges reluctant to sentence them. I think we all know the story. These women's lives mattered- they deserve justice.
the tragedy is that their fathers don't stick around to raise their sons so they end up finding male role models elsewhere - like gangs.
I'm just shocked that they're actually referring to this as a mass shooting. It's about time, maybe they'll actually stop keeping these scholars in jail longer than 48 hours.
The tragedy is that arresting violent criminals is considered racist.
No one is saying these women's lives did not matter. Unfortunately, this sounds like a revenge or "settle the score" type killing. I would not be surprised if the perpetrator is a black male. These statements are coming from a black woman.

Shootings are not peculiar to Chicago. Its happening in many areas of this country. Columbus Ohio, for example. Texas, all over. Tennessee. Just a few examples. Chicago is spotlighted because, despite this violence, we still maintain a world class city. Except for the NASCAR mess.
