Finally someone in his comment sections Who don’t say great video and I love you and Etc 😂 I Agree Hey This is more short and easier Although I just read the comments hoping for someone who doesn’t Like them 😂
I go to school in Sparta I’m in 5th grade and my history teacher is teaching us the 13 colonies and always uses your videos for our class everyone thought it was cool!
Awesome video! My 5th-grade class is starting a reading unit on the American Revolution. We are going to learn about the 13 colonies before we start and I plan to use your song as an introductory activity. Several of my students are fans of classic rock and will love this. Good job!
Our sixth-grade class enjoys your songs! Could you PLEASE do a song about the Georgia colony? We have used your Roanoke, Jamestown, Pilgrims, Massachusetts Bay, and Pennsylvania colony videos. According to the Virginia Standards of Learning, the other required colony in Georgia.
I'm from New Jersey...and yeah, not much "to know" for the colonial period. But Edison and Springsteen and Einstein and that cake baker have left their marks...
My 5th-grade students and I are representing the great state of New Jersey and we are very disappointed that you ragged on our wonderful state! How can you possibly say there is nothing to know about the New Jersey colony? Here are some things worth knowing about the NJ colony... *European colonization of New Jersey started soon after the 1609 exploration of its coast and bays by Sir Henry Hudson. *Dutch and Swedish colonists settled parts of the present-day state as New Netherland and New Sweden. *In 1664 the entire area surrendered to the English, gained its current name. *From 1678-1712, NJ was divided into East Jersey and West Jersey, two distinct provinces of the proprietary colony. Garden State for life!
@@MrBettsClass Pish posh! NJ rules 48 other states drool... not Hawaii of course, they are too awesome for anyone to compete. Love the videos and they really are a popular favorite of my 5th-grade social studies class. Thanks for making them!
Great song, but there were only 12 colonies. Delaware was actually part of Pennsylvania. It had high autonomy, but it was not a colony itself. It declared itself to be its own state in 1776.
The 13th colonies got their independence from Britain so what does that make America Britain’s son, brother, Cousin. What type of family relation would it class as between America and Great Britain
My 8th social studies teacher played your song( she love song peridies) and she was offended about the new jersey part. She is a jersey girl what can you do?
If you had to go back in time to the 13 Colonies, which one would you live in and why?
MrBettsClass North Carolina
Rhode Island so there wouldn’t be any religious pressure
Pennsylvania's an option too
Oh, and why?
I would go to historic South Carolina to see how it was like and visit my hometown, Charles Towne.
I’m really here listening to this instead of just studying the colonies normally💀
Finally someone in his comment sections Who don’t say great video and I love you and Etc 😂 I Agree Hey This is more short and easier Although I just read the comments hoping for someone who doesn’t Like them 😂

This is still my favorite work of yours @MrBettsClass
I wonder how the outcome of everything would have been if the first colony (the lost colony) in North Carolina actually was successful
I am being forced to watch this until 3:20 PM and it is only 9:40 AM right now.
That might be a war crime
Pure gold! All hail @MrBettsClass

Wow 198,000 views and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freddie Mercury wore that outfit at the Live Aid concert in 1985 so Mr. Betts dressed like him because this is a queen song
The 13th colonies got their independence from Britain so what does that make America Britain’s son, brother, Cousin. What type of family relation would it class as between America and Great Britain
I'm 17 and taking a history class for college. This is waaaayy helpful!
I did not know Plymouth was part of the 13 ORIGINAL COLONYS.
It existed as an independent colony for about 60 years before being absorbed into the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
