I have been scowering every pagan store/ website to try and find a book to help with this for the past year, thank you Raven I really appreciate what you are doing with this.
I was never a fan of Harry Potter, but I did have a few experiences with witches. They explained certain energies and feelings that others thought I was crazy for talking about. And I had a strange inclination that christianity isnt exactly right, with every separate religion in christianity like Lutheran Methodist Baptist and catholic. They all preach different things calling it the same.
"Be prepared to be discriminated against" Hmmm. Where have I heard that before as I casually look in the mirror as a bisexual Latino possibly transgendered person

Deities Blue Raven has worked with: Lucifer, Raum and Asmodeus Despite Christianity and other Abrahamic religions being the mainstream and the societal norms for many, there are those people who feel like it’s simply just not for them. And that is fine. It’s perfectly healthy for someone to question beliefs and look for what else is out there. The problem, however, is finding reliable sources to turn to for information. That’s why pagan practices and religion can feel so overwhelming and confusing, because the information that is provided by actual pagans is a mixed bag, and what the mainstream media pitches to the forefront makes pagans look downright delusional or dangerous. How many times have you come across a story about a pagan cult that sacrifices animals or hurts innocent people for whatever deities they worship? Chances are, people will say “one too many,” or “too many to count.” However, the truth is that the vast majority of pagans and practitioners of witchcraft are actually harmless. In fact, a lot of them shun those who set out to do harm to people or animals and who give pagans a bad name all across the globe. Blue Raven 666 is starting this series for the people who are just starting the path into becoming a witch. His goal is to provide information based on his personal experience that is easy to grasp and digest. Like anything else that needs to be built, you need to have a good solid foundation for you to build on top of. He will be covering a wide variety of topics such as pantheons, deities, spirits, crystals, self-care, and so much more. All the while teaching you in a way that is safe and gives you the freedom to move on in your own direction. Now the first thing that you need to be aware of is that there is no one, right, tried-and-true textbook way of becoming a witch or a pagan. We all have our own stories and our own experiences. Some of our experiences might hold some similarity, but not everyone’s is the same. There are some people out there who will put others down for this. Keep in mind that this is your journey and no one else’s. Your experiences will be no less valid than theirs. You are not them. You are unique and an individual. This journey can get pretty intense and scary at times. There are plenty of things that can go wrong when working with spirits and deities and spells. That’s where all the horror stories come from involving demons and ghosts and curses. He will do his best in helping you avoid these mistakes. That being said, this is a journey, and will most likely be hard, lengthy and boring. But understand that it is a part you need to get through at your own pace in order to be in it for the long haul. Exciting or not, everything in this series will prove to be extremely useful later on down the line. Before Blue Raven’s series officially begins, there are several things to keep in mind. First off, this isn’t going to be something you’re going to be able to achieve overnight. This is not going to take a day, a week or even a year for you to learn everything you need to know. Blue Raven’s been practicing for seven + years and he doesn’t know everything. The point of this series isn’t to turn you into a professional witch overnight, but provide you with the basics in order to get started. Another thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t going to be like it is in movies and TV. If you like Harry Potter and are interested in witchcraft because of it, that’s fine but this isn’t going to be like that. Here’s the hard truth: be prepared to be discriminated against. By many (but not all) Christians who think you’re doing “the devil’s work,” by other pagans who think you’re doing it wrong, it’s going to happen. At some point, someone is going to judge you based on your beliefs, no matter how much you try to explain yourself to them. Eventually, you’ll grow accustomed to it but it’s basically a given to anyone who chooses to walk the so called “left hand path.” Lastly, no two witches are the same! No two pagans are the same! There is no cookie-cutter mold that you should be forcing yourself into. He will teach you based on his experiences and his journey. If at any point you feel like his way of teaching is not for you, you are free to drop out of his lessons whenever you like. Go at your own pace! His playlist and videos won’t be going anywhere. Don’t burn yourself out into thinking you have to learn everything. The next lesson in this series will be about different pantheons. Have your pen and notepad ready because we’ll be unpacking a lot!

Despite living in the Southern U.S., I've not faced any discrimination for my craft. Course that may be because the only people I've told have always been extremely close friends. Not to say anyone else WON'T face it, that's stupid. Imma massive ass derp, and it has caused some issues in the past. I used to have a far bigger problem with being angry and quick to become defensive and still do at times to this day. And it led to me not realizing 'witch' was a not discriminitory. In fact after telling a friend who was full on Wiccan(I'm only Wiccan/Christian, please don't hate I try not to do stupid shit), he told the family of the girl who called me a witch. They apparently explained how my religion worked on a basic level to her, as she apologized the next day. I know it was her family, because she told me. Just wish I could apologize for being an overdramatic dumbass, but oh well. The reason I keep quiet about my craft is because I don't wanna hear any stupid shit come out of some ignorant stranger's mouth, whom I'd likely give two flying fucks about anyway. I have a very much Christian friend who has given a bible to me once and expressed concerns about not seeing me in the afterlife due to my path. But to his credit, he doesn't do it anymore. He has also, never tried to force my hand. Was always gentle about it before eventually realizing I wouldn't change my mind on it. Perhaps his prayers will actually mean something for my future. I have faith I'll be accepted, despite my chosen path in life and the fact I don't really pray for anything from God at all. I just go about my day where I can and practice when and what I feel necessary. Just getting extra knowledge that I may or may not incorporate. Course getting away from my friend whom despite his concerns I care deeply about and consider family, my highly devout Aunt is something else entirely. Hell I'm sure it's her fault, and partially an ex of hers' fault, that my Mom is a born again Christian these days. My Aunt has ALWAYS been one to judge one's path of life, my Mother being her favorite target for YEARS. Despite the fact they are SISTERS! She got on my Mom's case for years over her former Wiccan path, is VERY hypocritical at times in that while she doesn't condone what the Westboro Baptist Church did to the families of those who died during the Orlando shooting years ago, she'll still not want her kids to catch the gay. Yeah she told me of a gay man she and her husband(now ex) were 'friendly' with and accepted into their church. But wouldn't allow to come around their house because they didn't want their kids exposed to him. Major F in chat for that one, just yikes. But that's the worst thing, no no no. I hate her for one damn reason alone, something I refuse to forgive her for. During a family gathering, one where my Mom was unable to be there for her own reasons, my Aunt decided to tell me the following thing during our conversation (which had been surprisingly good aside from the Gay man story she told me). Bare in mind, she had the gall to say this truly STUPID SHIT after I told her I wish my Mom could be at the gathering and that I missed her. "I'm sorry your Mother wasn't the Mother she should've been. I hope she changes her wicked ways, and gets back with your Dad." At that point I was so angry I just silently listened, I knew if I said anything it'd be over. I stewed all the way home, and regrettably didn't tell my Mother for months after the fact. But after some thought and encouragement from friends, I realized she deserved to know what her own flesh and blood had said. No matter if at the time they'd just started to talk again. Mom was pissed off of course, and more years of no contact happened. They're talking again, but Mom keeps her distance and stays careful with her personal life despite loving her sister still. Funny enough though, I think karma hit her pretty damn well last year. Her own husband got sick of her shit because their children got pushed away by her crazy antics. So now she can't give my Mom crap about the divorce my parents had anymore, HAHA! I won't lie, I laughed my ass off hearing the news and had been rooting for my cousins to avoid her like the plague for years before then. Hell, she even threw a pity party on Facebook, and even our most devout family ignored her. It was extremely cathartic let me tell you. Course I wish her elder kid had stayed away from her. Unfortunately he came crawling back after causing an accident that killed two people and their dog. Won't say any other details beyond that for his own sake. Due to him crawling back to his Mother, being bailed out by Daddy, and his Mother trying to get her son out of punishment through supreme court because he'd 'seen a God and had repented blah blah blah' I can't look at him the same way anymore. Also sidenote, even my Christian friend thinks my Aunt is a nutter, for anyone doubting his intent. Forgive the massive ass spiels both here and EVERYWHERE else on this channel. I just feel that safe sharing here as no one has judged me once for it. Thank you guys in this community for that and thank you too @BlueRaven666. Hopefully the @ function still works on UA-cam Mobile. If not tell me how to properly 'tag' UA-camrs pretty please. Again sorry for the MASSIVE spiel. Thank you and blessed be.
Also forgive Grammar issues, phone keyboard screws me over constantly. Especially with long paragraphs of text. Seriously whoever made the keyboard smaller needs a reality check. Even my tiny hands can't handle what they fucked up.

Very interesting topic! I sometimes share photos on an asexual Paganism page on Facebook, plus I've made a few stories and articles regarding the topic as well.
"You will be discriminated against" Me, a Latino 15 year old guy who's Roman Catholic: I'm already discriminated for my Religion's history, I've been called a rapist a few times and/or child molester just because I'm Catholic. So i guess i already am discriminated to some extent
@@greencheekconurestan5316 I find it kind of cool and imagine a world were things like souls, magic, god (if he exists he is a random guy playing on his quantum computer in the year 200200) and things like that generally keep me up at night playing with my imagination
I'm not into witchcraft but I think something is wrong with my house. We have chocolate bars and every day we find them scattered around the house. One time my brother was petting our cat and he heard knocking on the cabinet. Idk what's happening. (And yes the chocolate bars were in the same exact place every time it happened)
I am here and i don’t why people think that if you are in a different belief they just here away from you, for example, witchcraft, pegans and Vietnam’s religion (I forgot the name of the religion) this is very much laugh at or just get frightening, this is very discriminating.

Out of curiosity, and I doubt I'm the first to ask this, however, will you still do tarot 101? I've been interested in tarot cards and readings for a while now.
I'm not sure if I actually want to do something with this, but I can't deny I've been curious about it for years, so I'd like to give this a try. I'm also curious about Tarot reading, since right now going out isn't the best idea, is there a site, web page or channel you would recommend to learn more of that, Blue?
How to even get started? I mean, as much as my grandmother from my father's side, cares for me and the rest of her grandchildren, I've already shown signs of being a disappointment to our family religion. note; my father is Muslim and my mother is Christian. So, I'm basically half. Ironic as it may be, I have come to be interested in the Egyptian pantheons, which Egypt was conquered by the Arabs long ago and now is 90% an Islamic country today.
Of course it is! The term "witch" isn't a gender. We can all thank JKR for making us think that witch and wizard are magic genders (no shame to her tough. She DID write an amazing book series)
Omg I’m excited Me: So your saying that if I’m a witch, pan sexual, possibly trans, weirdo who has dark humor, hates their life, barely believes in god that I’m going to be discriminated against? I haven’t heard that before

Eventually, you’ll grow accustomed to it but it’s basically a given to anyone who chooses to walk the so called “left hand path.”
Lastly, no two witches are the same!
Am I the only one who does not practice witchcraft but watches these videos to learn?
ooooh I am intrigued :D
Excellent intro video
Yay pantheon time!!!
Thank you
This is exciting! :D
I love Harry Potter I’m a Ravenclaw and I’m also an ally in the lgbtq+ 🏳️🌈

Raven. If you see this. I’m a seer. I use normal playing cards for tarot readings and I drew your past present and future. 7♠️ 4 ♦️Jack ♣️. How I read clubs is more related to friends and popularity so you and stardust are gonna grow. Sub count wise as far as I see

I hope she changes her wicked ways, and gets back with your Dad."
At that point I was so angry I just silently listened, I knew if I said anything it'd be over.
Im watching this to get better information for my book I didn’t now it that it was this complicated
"Be prepared to be discriminated against"
Me who is a lesbian, atheist person in a mostly Christian country: ok then *starts taking notes
Edit: I wanna go to Hogwarts so I need to learn as much as I can, magic is magic
Very interesting topic! I sometimes share photos on an asexual Paganism page on Facebook, plus I've made a few stories and articles regarding the topic as well.
"You will be discriminated against"
Me, a Latino 15 year old guy who's Roman Catholic: I'm already discriminated for my Religion's history, I've been called a rapist a few times and/or child molester just because I'm Catholic. So i guess i already am discriminated to some extent
Tbh I don't really care if I'm descriminated or judged by other people
Why i'm I watching this i already started witchcraft for 2 years-
Why am I watching this I don't believe in magic (morbid curiosity)
@@mister_dadstersays_hi7372 at least your curious instead rude lol
@@greencheekconurestan5316 I find it interesting to say the least
@@mister_dadstersays_hi7372 how so just wondering
@@greencheekconurestan5316 I find it kind of cool and imagine a world were things like souls, magic, god (if he exists he is a random guy playing on his quantum computer in the year 200200) and things like that generally keep me up at night playing with my imagination
I whose waiting for this series so so so long btw can you pleas make a how to somen a demon pleas btw love your wideos
"I got freinds on the other side"
I have always wanted to learn about witchcraft i personally have always done voodoo
I heard self-care and then my ‘’paranoia’’ said ha NO ;•;
I am here and i don’t why people think that if you are in a different belief they just here away from you, for example, witchcraft, pegans and Vietnam’s religion (I forgot the name of the religion) this is very much laugh at or just get frightening, this is very discriminating.
. . .i have so many people I need to curse....
ATTENTION FOR RAVEN THERE IS A NEW UPDATE IN OBEY ME YOU CAN NOW DATE ALL OF THEM ALLLL OF THEM PLEASE TALK ABOUT IT PLEASE
Sorry if it's out of context
Out of curiosity, and I doubt I'm the first to ask this, however, will you still do tarot 101? I've been interested in tarot cards and readings for a while now.
Yes, I will be doing that series at some point
@@BlueRaven666 Thank you so much
nice
I cant white for the first lesen
I'm not sure if I actually want to do something with this, but I can't deny I've been curious about it for years, so I'd like to give this a try.
I'm also curious about Tarot reading, since right now going out isn't the best idea, is there a site, web page or channel you would recommend to learn more of that, Blue?
Raven puts his pizza in the toaster
As kids did you guys also mix an variety of different dirts and grass and stuff into mud while pretending to be a witch? Or was that just me?
How to even get started?
I mean, as much as my grandmother from my father's side, cares for me and the rest of her grandchildren, I've already shown signs of being a disappointment to our family religion. note; my father is Muslim and my mother is Christian. So, I'm basically half.
Ironic as it may be, I have come to be interested in the Egyptian pantheons, which Egypt was conquered by the Arabs long ago and now is 90% an Islamic country today.
I am a boy but am interested in witchcraft. Is this ok?
Why wouldn’t it be?
Why would that be a problem witch isn't a girl only thing
Of course it is! The term "witch" isn't a gender. We can all thank JKR for making us think that witch and wizard are magic genders (no shame to her tough. She DID write an amazing book series)
Lmao I saw your tiktok and came here as fast a I could
Omg I’m excited
Me: So your saying that if I’m a witch, pan sexual, possibly trans, weirdo who has dark humor, hates their life, barely believes in god that I’m going to be discriminated against? I haven’t heard that before
i was wondering do you actually believe in spirits and the spiritual aspects of witchcraft just curious
Yes
