Semyon Bychkov gets an amazing sound out of the WRD SO. Full - bodied, intensive, and a fine give and take of the tempo. This must be heard to be believed !

I love this orchestra BUT the camera work is really not well thought through. Scintillating passages in the first violins and we seen the trumpets playing a held note? Seriously??
Bychkov sets the bar high for his fantastic interpretations and performances with the WDR SO.
