I bought one for my x749 and absolutely love it. Install was easy and spot-on. I was sad to take it off to put on the snowblower, but rest assured, come spring, I’m putting it right back on!
I built fork lift forks for my quick hitch, I can pick up trees from the ground, small pallets, garbage cans. the trees need to be balanced good, having the hydraulic angling cylinder on the hitch is handy for maneuvering and balancing 10' chunks of tree.
Great video let the haters hate.. I just received my grapple from Mark at innovation tractor attachments Thursday! Did a mock assembly but still have to move the bottom cylinder. Hoping the grapple goes lower after I do that.

I love the option. I personally have a sub compact but if u already own an X series this is a solid option for what u currently own. No reason to go out and buy another tractor just to take care of the “every now and then stuff”. I do question how much stress that places on that front drivetrain. But John Deere sells this ready from the dealership with a front hitch and snow blower package so if it can handle that weight and stress then this should be fine for the average homeowners occasional use.

If Toro had added a little more to their 5xi garden tractors there still might be a Toro garden tractor on the market today. They should have had a locking rear differential and had optional a rear 3pt hitch and remote hydraulics. But I have 520xi, 522xi and 520Lxi and I don’t have any major complaints about them.

I have a x738 and I have been cleaning up a 12 acre woods. I have been doing most of it by hand. I was thinking that a x738 would be too small for stuff like this. I was looking at a smaller compact tractor and loader.
Ya...about that....I actually wasn't forcing it. An even more basic chainsawing tip: When you get a new chain, make sure the gauge of the chain matches the gauge of the blade.
Is the quick hitch something I can purchase at the dealership at the time of purchase or is this an after market product? I’m interested in an x758 with that grapple. I own rental properties and need something to cut all the properties and clean up. That grapple looks like a god send for my uses. I currently sent a troy bilt mower in for service, but I might just sell that and get this!
Buck Shots, I bought an X739 about four years ago and when I bought it they would put any attachments on just for the cost of the attachments. A three point hitch is also a handy option to mount accessories. I would buy another X739 in a minute!

It does have a rear PTO. It can fit anything a 1023 can except a backhoe and it's about half the cost. So if digging is important enough to pay double then sure, however if not then the 700 series is phenomenal.
Anyone know if you can buy the grapple without the hydraulic cylinder I want one for my garden tractor and would be using a heavy duty electric actuator.
Yeah, absolutely what is the poorest visual instructions of how to attach that Grapple. Your body was in front of the entire part where you were hooking the hydraulics together.

For sure, a compact (or bigger) tractor has its uses--just not enough of them around my place to pay the additional money and sacrifice the quality of the mowing.

So many uses, I have exposed roots in my woods, I put the corner of the bottom jaw under the root and it pulls the root right out.

Great video, thank you. One notable exception: safety glasses used to record video, but not while using chain saw. Not a good idea.

You actually use the angle cylinder from I don't see why you couldn't use an actuator in it's place.
