I massively appreciate this video. Back when I first watched Endless Eight, I hadn't noticed all the little specific ways Yuki was positioned in the background of certain shots and how that expresses how lonely and despondent she was. For that reason, I was never really sold when other people told me that the arc was great based on how Yuki had to suffer through all the time loops, because I thought the arc itself conveyed Yuki's pain in a compelling way that wasn't merely the implications her retaining memories through Endless Eight. With this video, I realized that her pain was all there, but it was always in the background. The real brilliance of the arc in my eyes was leaving all the details of Yuki's reaction to Endless Eight in the background for the entire arc, only to pull the rug out from under me when I realized that I was ignoring her emotions just as much as everyone in the show was, despite having watched her repeat the day eight times. That sensation serves as a basis for measuring how Yuki felt for over 10,000 days, and would lead me to empathize with her in the movie. It's so retrospectively brilliant, that it's the only thing that's made me genuinely desire to rewatch all eight episodes. So yeah, I think your video made the point of the arc more succinctly than any analysis video on the platform. Props to the editing and music choice too for highlighting Yuki's isolation and how time eats away at her during the arc, because I admittedly missed a major part the point.
The only proper way to watch endless 8 is to download each one, edit them side by side in a video editor within 2x4 rows, then watch them all at the same time.
Masterpiece video, well done. Funny how there are people who just like Haruhi for the funny dance and then people who like Haruhi and make videos like this... Different levels of appreciation and thoughtfulness towards the series. Really the only anime fandom like it imo.
It's so sad, really... her feelings and emotions were never taken into consideration because she never showed them-- she was always second in importance when compared to Haruhi and the others of the group, with all of it culminating to the point where she created a place of her own. A place where she wouldn't have to suffer such great loneliness. A little bit of acknowledgment goes a long way; for even the quietest of people still have hopes, aspirations, and dreams...
This was masterful. I like the counter in the corner as we rack up summers. Paired with the music and the freeze frames of Nagato it gave the impression of the two minutes lasting an eternity.
Idk how to express this but thank you, I always felt like something like this needed to be made and youve gone and done it better than anyone ever could and I love it. Genuinely one of my favorite videos online now, you're one of the best youtubers out there, good luck! And thank you again
Ver todo el arco de agosto infinito fue difícil, pero vivirlo más de 15 mil veces, fue muy cruel para Nagato, es completamente entendible que haya querido cambiar el mundo
Right! I was re-watching it with a bud and we actually reached a point where we were sad that there was no more Endless Eight. Was some weird self brainwashing shit
Interesting to note that the only thing Yuki has control over in Endless Eight is the mask she purchases; a thing to obscure her face.
Did Haruhi predict COVID?? /thread
And yet she doesn't...
hide her face i mean, it's on the side of her head mostly, maybe as a SOS signal to Kyon....
after you watching this, you cant mad at Yuki for changing the universe and make the whole disappearince thing happened. She really sick of Haruhi BS
If you watch the endless eight and only pay attention to Yuki the whole time, it makes the whole experience a lot more melancholic (no pun intended)
Yeah dude, it's kind of harrowing
imagine how many book that Nagato have read after 15532 loops
I'm gonna guess at least 2
Kyon jokingly said she reads 300 books pear year early in the story. If we take that seriously and multiply it by 600 it becomes 180.000

I respect anyone who watches all of E8, especially on a rewatch.

Proper? No chance.
I was looking for "someday in the rain" and i found this masterpiece

As someone who fell in love with Haruhi because of Endless Eight, I couldn't help but cry watching this. Amazing work.
Endless Eight taps into a feeling like no other
You've taken one of the best experiments in anime history and made a great tribute to it. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was beautifully edited! I'm so happy to see Haruhi content here in the year 2021 😭
Thank you! And yeah I agree, we need the haruhi renaissance

Yeah did, and it's crazy how much you don't recontextualise is it until disappearance
I always hate that characters who do no wrong suffer the most being stuck in a time loop is hell it's the definition of insanity

Thanks for the kind comments brother!

Woah. This is absolutely brilliant. Fantastic job, friend. Glad to find other people that can appreciate the Endless Eight!
Wow! Well done with this edit! The animated sequence you added was a great touch! I'm also one of the few that honestly enjoyed the Endless 8 arc lol
Thanks for the kind words! I think it's going to make a comeback, now that the dust is well settled.
i love endless 8
Based
This is an episode I really like. Very sad, very touched.
Awesome video. Now that I'm older, Endless 8 is actually fun and somehow more exciting to watch than a fast paced show I find mediocre.
Right! I was re-watching it with a bud and we actually reached a point where we were sad that there was no more Endless Eight. Was some weird self brainwashing shit
Вот это здорово! Вот так как надо показано! Спасибо!!!
Excellent! Pretty impressive and exactly to point! (Sorry for my English)
Looping this video seems on brand

Awesome video, but i feel even this doesn't capture yuki's pain......
i subscribed and hit the bell, looking forward to your next, when you have the chance.
And if people missed it: ua-cam.com/video/dykGM5ddHSA/v-deo.html
the concert
I really loved it and enjoyed rewatching as well.
It's pogchamp, as is yukinon dps
i love it!
Thank you!
Please teach us how to edit I suck at it
Cynic-man. Your videos are much too high in quality to receive a viewer base so small. Also, was the section at 1:06 visually inspired by Eva?
Thanks brother. And no it wasn't but now I'm going to tell everyone that it was
Agosto.
Lo que tuvo que soportar Nagato es terrible
15.0000
ouch
Masterpiece 💯👏
