Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Just a suggestion that may have made the video a little clearer for me - the leader's L & R legs are hard to distinguish (e.g. at 1:27). Perhaps a lighter coloured trousers or different shoes? Otherwise, loved the lesson. Thank you!

I am a bit surprised by a "followers" instructions how the dance will go on. I thought tango is all about leading and following. Maybe I was wrong, because you both look great!

In some ways it would be best to take all the followers and teach them how to follow, and all the leaders and teach them them how to lead but that part is very antisocial and people most often like to enjoy learning and trying together.
In the early stages we find it can be healthy to go through some actions together and you can start learning perspectives and necessities for each other. There does come a point though, which we think is what you were getting at, when that has to be redone by learning truly action and reaction together, leading and following... we find that process happens naturally to couples as they become interested in quality, how and why of what they were dancing, and much more successful in the long term than teaching leading, following and pure technique at the outset - we're all for letting people try, discover, and seeing if it is for them.
It is a great, never-ending journey...
