Great job I loved the way you engineered the way to scribe the graduation without using a dividing tool it is genus. thanks for sharing this on U Tube.
Hello. That's a splendid way for marking . Good that you shared Can anyone guide me to a linear scale making through this technique video . I want to make a linear scale for my boring machine
Great video and work! I'm planning a simmilar project on my mini lathe as well and want to go with the printed scale method too. Really helpful to see, it works so well. Thanks for sharin! What paint are you using for blackening the numbers and lines on the scale? edit:subscribed:)
Hello friend, thanks for sharing, the paint I use is a black enamel, but you can use any black paint or even a black marker after applying, remove the excess and voila, you can ask me any questions, good luck with your project, greetings. ... FM
Thanks for asking, but I don't know if you're referring to the dashes you need on the plate to mark the dial or the pitch on the screw. If you can clarify the question for me , with great pleasure . Thanks
🟢 Hola Francisco!
Mil gracias
Thanks for asking, the screw is 2mm pitch. The screw when making a complete turn advances 2 mm therefore divided the circle into 80 equal parts which each division corresponds to 0.025 mm to the anel make 80 guides. thank you F.M.
Thanks for asking, if you do it with the bloclayer.com page give the diameter and the number of increments either 32 or 35 and he gives you the exact divisions and you can print and remove the template to place it on the lathe this is a simple way to do so, if you require more information, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks F.M.

To try to do as you do, could you tell me about the depth of your graduations (large and small) and a link for the black product applied to the graduations. Can I hope for a positive response. Good continuation and friendly greetings. P. K
Hello friend, thank you for commenting, regarding the depth of the graduations they are 0.5 mm and the long graduation is 7 mm and the small one is 4 mm in length For the painting I use black enamel or it can be done with a black sharpie marker and then dried with alcohol or thinner and the black remains in the depth of the graduation.
