Hi Miri! I wanted to let you know I passed the NBCOT! Thank you so much for all your content. It was extremely helpful for me as I am an auditory learner. I just wanted you to know that so many people are still benefiting from your videos ❤️ thank you
Hi Miri! I have been a silent follower of your videos over the last couple of months and I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all of the time you dedicate towards helping break down some of the toughest material on the NBCOT. I recently learned that I passed the NBCOT and feel that your videos were a huge part in helping me understand and conceptualize the material and have heard similar things from many of my classmates. Thank you for all of your encouragement and enjoy this new journey with your son!!
Congratulations! I'm happy to hear the news and so excited for all that lies ahead! Thank you for coming back here to share this moment with me so I can celebrate with you in spirit.
Watching this because I found out I passed the NBCOT on my first attempt! Thank you so much for your content. It has been so helpful in my studying journey!
Congratulations! I'm really happy for you! I'd love it if you kept it touch and let me know what setting you end up practicing in. Congratulations again!
@@MiriLee Thanks so much Miri! I'm mostly looking at outpatient peds (I have two virtual interviews next week!), but am also open to SNF. My level II fieldworks were primarily in a SNF and a school setting and I spent a lot of time observing and volunteering in peds clinics, so I find I enjoy and am comfortable in those settings.
I always told myself i’d come back to comment on your videos to tell you I passed and I almost forgot. Well I passed!!! and on the first try. i have the worst test anxiety and have always been horrible on timed tests. Your videos/techniques/positivity are what helped me get through it all. Keep being you OT Miri ❤️

Hi Miri! I absolutely love your videos for studying for the NBCOT. In regards to what to include for previous jobs, i have a couple of questions: 1) how far is too far back in years? For me I have had 3 seasonal summer jobs since 2014, so it'd be almost 5 years ago 2) what if those jobs I had were relevant to my desired job position? For example, the 3 seasonal jobs I had were working with children and teens with disabilities, and my desired job position is in pediatrics. Should i just provide that info in my Linkedin profile so it doesnt crowd my resume? Thank you!
Congratulations on passing your exam! I'm late to reply to your post, but if you're still searching for a job and would like support building your resume, you can check out my OT career section on my website where I have sample cover letter and resume: www.otmiri.com/ot-resume/. Best wishes to you!
Love the profile picture and the colors waooo amazing as always!!! Miri would you recommend any good books to better documentation? For an OTA which is what I proudly am! Thanks as always for your support! 🌸❤️✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Hi Pao! Thank you for your sweet comment! I personally don't know of any good books to better documentation- I personally just used my textbooks from school and beyond that, it was just a lot of practice and feedback from mentors and colleagues. But, this is a GREAT question to pose in the NEW OT Practitioner Support group! Have you joined already? facebook.com/groups/newOTpractitioner/
