I placed the GoPro on the railway sleepers and actually had it on video with the hopes to pull a 5.3K screen grab as the train went over it.
Once I got home, I realised it just looked like a stationary train and didn't have that 'action' feel I was hoping for so I had to push the motion blur in post.
Also my settings for the night photo of Auschwitz II at 6:20 was ISO 800, sharpness low & colour flat (added back in post) and I used both a 30sec shutter for the sky and a 5sec shutter for the building itself. All shot on a $10 tripod with the 3sec timer to avoid any movement when pressing the button.

Whoa thanks for the feature and thumbnail! I took the wakeboarding selfie! 🤙🏻 GoPro did actually feature that shot as photo of the day. My settings were the following:
Orientation: Vertical
Mode: time lapse photo
Lens: Wide
Interval: 0.5 seconds
Output: Standard
EV Comp: -0.5
ISO Min/Max: 100
White Balance: Auto
Sharpness: Medium
Color: Natural
Edited In Lightroom Mobile
The moment was literally perfect so I put the GoPro on a long pole and just carved out into the glassy water hoping to get that reflection selfie.

Hi Jake and Anna. I hope all is doing well for You. Thx for sharing your expertise. I was clearly impressed by the pics sent by some😜…As usual your comments and recommendations will be helpful for sure for many of us. We can see there are dedicated considerations for each category. Concerning the underwater pics I am wondering if to add some light can help some when water is not crystal clear. Personaly I like the ones done with a dome. I am sure Morocco Trip will be successful. Yes in France we are closed to the Summer Season now.. 🙃BTW you can celebrate Christmas twice a year in Australia and then in France…😉

hi jake! please, would you be able to let me know what is the best setting for the gopro 10 to have a circular fisheye? (not full circle, just that traditional fisheye look where the edges are curved)
It comes down to your digital lens selection, choose wide or superview for fish eye
