In this video I'm going to be explaining the Gears of War Carmine Family! In this video I talk about the Gears of War Carmine Brothers: Gears of War Anthony Carmine, Gears of War Benjamin Carmine, Gears of War Clayton Carmine.
As well as other Carmine family members including Gary Carmine, Lizzie Carmine, Will Carmine & Fredo Carmine.

I remember when they were selling the 'Save Carmine' or 'Kill Carmine' shirts for your avatar to decide if Clayton would live or Die in GoW3. Definitely purchased the 'Save Carmine' and loved seeing Clayton as just a beast

Poor Clay hearing and watching all his brothers and family members hope in gears of war 6 he can have a family of his own maybe a children that will outgrown him and passing the touch or a loving partner that he won't have to hearing dying or watching

I don't know who has it worst. Benjamin Carmine for his horrific death, being eaten alive by Parasties inside the Riftworm has gotta be one of the scariest ways to go out.
Or Clayton Carmine for losing his brothers, Gary and Lizzie Carmine.
Though I'm not sure he cared much about Garry.

When I first played gears of war 2 carmine was my favorite due to his helmet then I saw he died and got sad
I think sometimes people over look that the Carmine family is not the only family that’s losing people. Even before E Day the world was at war for generations so everyone had a family member that was at war or was killed in war E Day just sped that process up. Marcus his entire family was killed luckily he had Anya for the little time he did. Dom lost both his kids and had to kill his own Wife. Baird both his parents were killed shortly after E Day and Cole his parents were killed shortly after E Day. No one in the COG escapes death

There was a scene where Clayton was almost killed but the helmet blocked the sniper shot in gears 3
And he almost gets crushed by a car, and the raven he's on gets shot down by Myrra, and because of the raven going down he ends up in the sea.
Bro literally fucking with death.
The devs decided to punish us for chosing to spare him by constantly teasing his death. And taking Dom.
Imagine Clayton sacrificing himself to save another Carmine, would be the best ending for him and maybe, just maybe, break the curse

@@Disagreeoragree honestly I wouldn't mind a re boot either just because I love gears and would want more of it(who knows maybe they wouldn't kill all the Carmine's in the reboot leaving only Clayton, that'd be nice)but the problem with a reboot is that they could end up just making the reboot games like gears 4 and 5.
Not only that but I feel it would just generally be pretty complicated to do .

i’m so glad that they decided to take Clayton in the complete opposite direction as his younger brothers. i remember the vote to save or kill carmine and i definitely wanted to see just one of them make it to the end, and i’m glad they made him just a walking badass.
My favorite characters in the series. Honestly, kind of wish they stopped killing them. I think the gag of never seeing their faces is better
Seeing the carmine brothers remind me of saving private Ryan where all three of the Ryan brothers died and now all of the carmine brothers died so all that left is James Ryan and Ben carmine

Can you imagine being in her position, getting stuck inside of a vehicle while a fucking Hammer of Dawn beam is slowly inching closer to you, all while you're in complete desperation to get out of that vehicle but you have no luck

As I’ve said in previous comments about Carmine, I’m sick and tired of seeing their family be the butt-end of a dead joke the Coalition still tries to keep alive.
Clayton has lost his brothers, more than likely a good amount of his family that also served and then his niece years later, dude can’t catch a break. I was so stoked to see a new Carmine be part of the Gears Of War character roster buuuut then they killed her off right out the gate. SMH.

If you really think about it to us the carmine family is super unlucky but the the gears of war universe they’re probably really lucky due to the fact that during the war entire bloodlines were erased and at least the carmines kept 2 brothers alive 😂

Listen, i understand Clay is the Carmine they gave us that was badass and survived. But if they DO NEED to kill another carmine, please let him/her be badass, a fleshed out story, meaningful dialogue and provide a substantial enough contribution. So, when the inevtiable happens, at least we got to enjoy another awesome character from the franchise, our love for the carmines grows and the hit will be just as painful as when we found maria in the hollow.

I have ONE THEORY IN gears of war that makes carmine's deaths make sense.
Every Carmine that HAS died on screen, served alongside a member Of the Fenix Family. Now my theory is that, a long time ago, The Carmine's were cursed by the Fenix's, like a restraining order in the form of a Curse, so that if a Carmine got close to a Fenix, their death was sealed.
Now look at every Carmine that served under or directly with a member of the Fenix's:
-Anthony
-Benjamin
-Lizzy
(Probably Gary, I don't remember)
Now the one Carmine that DIDNT serve under or directly with Marcus or JD, Is clayton. The ONE TIME Clayton did directly serve alongside Marcus(Myrrah boss fight in gears 3) His King Raven was shot down and he ALMOST DIED.
There you have it. The Carmine Family Curse.
