This song makes me cry for a different reason. My husband is an alcoholic. It’s gotten horrible the last few years. When we first met he quickly became my best friend. I was with my girlfriend almost 2 years, i listened to this song everyday and i thanked god for her, that he send me peace and hapiness. We met in mine and her darkest hour, i helped her with self harm with suicide thoughts, after she healed, How this ended? She lied to me multiple times, cheated on me, and then broke up telling me its my fault... I literally fell pain in chest and cannot stop crying writing this. I thought its true love, i still love her after all of that, why? Why i still love her and would forgive her... But also lyrics is hitting me "take me to the night me met" my happiest moment of my life and most painfull. I cannot get up after this i dont know how mutch time more i will resist

My daughter was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder 2 years ago. This reminds me of the beginning stages. My heart is broken. I don’t want to feel this. I can only imagine the fear, anxiety and loneliness she feels. I haven’t laid eyes on that beautiful face in almost a year. I miss her so much. I dreamt about her tonight as I often do. I woke up with tears in my eyes and arms outstretched. I dreamt of of stroking her forehead down to the tip of her nose and pressing my fingers to her tiny lips while she fell asleep. I'm currently in your shoes. Found my perfect guy a year and 4 months ago. He picked me up when I was in the downs fighting with my depression and su1c1dal thoughts. We dated and everything seemed perfect. Never thought a day like this would come but it did 3 weeks ago. I understand that it was my fault coz i wasn't able to care for his mental health and he kept being hurt coz of it and finally became completely indifferent to me. The moment he left, I'm again here sitting with depression, self harms, eating disorders and insomnia wishing that this was all a dream. Each passing day just kills me on the inside. I still miss him. I miss the memories we made. I miss sharing stories with him, cracking jokes, and being there for each other and crying along whenever one of us cried. I have soo much to talk about to him, share with him, cry to him about but he isn't here with me to listen to it. I still want to hold his hands and tell him it's alright whenever he cries or is hurting. I miss him. I still love him a lot and want him back in my life but i don't think that it's possible anymore.
