Thank you for you creations, you are amazing, one creation that i like to see is someone likely to the silk cabby-thayer cabby, because the production of silk cabby is very rare this days and i not found any information about how make a silk cabby, Thank you again for all you struggle making videos and greetings from Colombia ;D
Not only have you been good enough to show us some cool little tricks , you also come across like a proper good man. You have a new subscriber. Thank you.
it is a thing of beauty, when a masterful artist is able to display an illusion. Even if I know how it works, (sometimes it's even more beautiful when I know how it works) when the performer is really smooth, it is a fantastic thing to see.
So good Lloyd. At the beginning of the video I was even playing it in slow motion and it still look like the coin was going through the glass. Such a great trick!
Lloyd man, so good to see the channel doing so well. You’ve smashed it over the past year, the sunday sessions were awesome and some of the advice I got from you and Craig really helped push me forward. Cheers for everything you do pal👍
Awesome trick to learn. Thanks for sharing the method. The only thing that may give it away is someone requests their coin back and notices the year may be different, which makes the last part of the method (coin drop switch) very important.
I like learning the trick, then try to make small improvements or changes to make it a bit more my own. But I have to hand it to you guys that create these tricks from scratch.
I've already subscribed. I'd gladly do it again if I could. Here's a question, though: I recently referred to you as "not really a magician, he's more of a magic creator. He's the guy that dreams up the tricks and how to make them work." Would you say that's accurate, or should I have said that you're a magician who _also_ creates magic? I'm just curious what you'd prefer.
Why switch the coin back though? Tipping the coin out of the glass would provide enough misdirection to ditch the coin held by the thumb. I doubt anyone could tell the difference between their original coin and the duplicate one they would get back at the end.
Would love to see more advanced version. Like Ys, the magician I think in China, but he's huge over there. He does a closed bottle of coke & puts a ring, coin, fruit, or other inside & then opens it to show it inside. Cannot figure out unless it's all setup prior & some people must be plants (like the waiter who brought the coke).
I don’t understand the last swap. Isn’t the coin in the cup the original coin? So if you swapped, you’d be showing your duplicate? Do I somehow have this backwards?
Hi Lloyd, I seem to remember seeing a video on your channel, where you balanced a coin on your elbow, dropped the elbow and caught it, only to later do the same move but "turning" the coin into a key or some other small object by means of double-sided sticky tape. Was that you? If so, could you point me to that video, please? Thanks!
Not perfect. This routine leaves the spectator with the duplicate coin instead of the original. Original in glass, remove duplicate, perform penetration, dump original, swap with duplicate, ditch original, return duplicate. To clean it up one must swap out the coin before initially placing it in the glass, swap the coins while initially removing one from the glass, or steal the duplicate off the outside of the glass. Either the duplicate must be in the glass when the penetration is performed or no swap must be performed at the end in order to have the borrowed coin to returned. I only mention it because I was caught out once in a similar situation were it was their lucky two headed coin they lent me and they got back a regular coin. Luckily I hadn't fully ditched the borrowed coin and was able to swap it back but, oopsies like that should be worked out of every routine. I suppose one could use the old "I have dollar but I don't want to use it because people don't trust my dollars, so does anyone have a dollar I can buy..." Then ownership has changed and one doesn't return it. Since this isn't a metamorphosis routine that method isn't as appropriate as simply returning the borrowed coin.
2:41 It makes no logical sense to put your hand into the glass to ‘retrieve’ the coin - nobody retrieves coins from glasses like this?! The logical way is of course to tip the glass therefore putting your hand inside to retrieve it instantly raises suspicions I would have thought. .
Someone whos standing in front of you will still see the coin at 45 degrees. This would only work at an angle of the camera meaning someones head would be resting on the table which isnt realistic
The older I get the more I think that Magicians only come up with these explanations to tricks to throw people off. Like okay I could do it this way, but really its just Magic.
Thanks for the 80k subscribers everyone! Here's to the final push!

Hahah I thought for the longest time you revealed other people's stuff ,that's very cool and would take ALOT OF WORK
Not only have you been good enough to show us some cool little tricks , you also come across like a proper good man. You have a new subscriber. Thank you.
Another genius idea from Lloyd Barnes, definitely one of the most creative minds in magic!
The mechanism behind the trick is interesting, but what really makes it work and fun to watch is talent and skill behind it!

I must admit that watching all your videos enabled me to figure this out immediately, but I will certainly perform it!

makes it clean even if the coin has a state or year or something else distinct
The king is back

this is classic skill coin sleight of hand

@@LloydB nice! Hope u got double cross for Christmas or something
Figured it out the first time you did it. I rule. Lol!
Can someone explain why the coins have ro be swapped, I thought they were the same type of coin?
I saw that change.
I also saw when you left a coin behind. 😂😂😂😂
Man, you’re just way too smart! I hope loads of people see your comment so they can see how clever you are. You deserve the recognition!
I never know how this was done till watching you do it, you need to be quicker with them fingers, also that's what she said
I would walk away if I see him at a poker table..😂.
So cool
Nice 👌
Thats so simple its scary cause im usually pretty good at seeing whats going on.
You just got another one buddy
You can do it.
This man is a trickster!!!!!! He should be arrested!!!
If it's a duplicate coin, you're not really exchanging one for the other. They're the same. 😊
I perform this with a PK ring.
The only problem I see is thay you give back the wrong coin. If they check the date its most likely going to be dofferent.
nice
Got a Sub from me for this one 👍👍
Sneaky! Think it could be tweaked to work with a signed coin?
not working when someone standing near you..

I wish I could sub again!! I'll get my wife to sub since she watches from my phone with me anyway

Similar to what Governments do with money…

I am lucky not to have to borrow a coin or a glass.
Eye candy ? What. This is an eye sore, long sleeves suit some people
Barrow a glass? But what if I own a glass? Does the trick still work?
I think you don't have enough tattoos

Why borrow the coin and glass when you can steal it from someone?
Someone whos standing in front of you will still see the coin at 45 degrees. This would only work at an angle of the camera meaning someones head would be resting on the table which isnt realistic

Yea but David Blaine pulled a watch out from behind a storefront window. That was REAL magic.
Why do I need to borrow a glass in a coin? Can't I just use my own?
Im a big fan of your magic i want a giveaway buddy ❤🎉
