Thanks for sharing. I've seen a couple of these at much, much lower prices including one from Fotga that is the exact same build only in black. Wonder if the record button supports half-press focus or if it is straight record
I have two of these controllers that I use on ENG cameras, unfortunately there is a limited selection of lenses that will work with this controller on the GH series cameras.
I tried this with the Panasonic lumix vario x 45-175mm lens with the same remote and had some issues with the remote being to sensitive. Ive used the remote with several other cameras and lenses and it works fine but anyone know why this would happen?
I think GH and 4/3 power zoom lenses are not designed for smooth zooming in movie with the remote controller. So, control of zooming-speed is sensitive.
Why does a simple remote control cost $120? lol I guarantee there is a $10 app that can make the camera do the same thing.

Are you supposed to charge it or something? This video shows me basically nothing. Mine will not work. Any tips?
I bought this but not able to work. What lanc cable did you ised? I got TRS(2 rings) upon reserechsing gh5 cable shoux be TRRS(3 rings)

Have you tried it with 12-35 mkII?
12-35 lens is not power zoom lens.
