@@thisBiancaonly so basically in their world everyone has powers. There’s three different types of powers, ones called mundane but I forgot the names of the other two. Mundane powers aren’t really that powerful and are used for defense or are just practical, like force fields or physic abilities. The second most powerful is things like flying and fire control. The last is extremely dangerous stuff like the ability to cancel out someone’s power-those people are basically the outcasts. Every few years people are randomly selected to join what is basically the hunger games, using their powers to survive. But the thing is, the main character doesn’t actually have any powers (which in their world warrants for her to be killed), and she also falls in love with the prince who’s also in the games. This wasn’t really a good explanation but i love the hunger games too so trust when I say this is 10x better
And: Good Girls Guide to Murder Thriller, will get you at the edge of your seat, the whole series is amazing. Cruel Prince A little brutal, but so good, a lot of riddles and mystery as well as romantasy Six of Crows Mystery, heist and fantasy, a perfect mix! You won’t have a favorite character, you’ll have six. And then the classics: Divergent, Maze Runner, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson All really good! Especially for 11-14 year olds
