i understood this the first time. but this generation is under heavy mind control where everything is “me, me, me” they don’t know what it means to be selfless. a generation raised by only their mothers, don’t know what a HEALTHY GODLY marriage is. I love that her husband spoke from his perspective as the husband. I never liked the idea of submission but this here makes more sense to me. Just because you’re married doesn’t mean you’ll automatically submit. It depends on what the man demonstrates and how he respects it. That’s what will make a woman feel like she wants to submit to him. Has to come more natural and not forced just because he’s your husband and you’re the wife.

i understood this the first time. but this generation is under heavy mind control where everything is “me, me, me” they don’t know what it means to be selfless. a generation raised by only their mothers, don’t know what a HEALTHY GODLY marriage is. That’s why Fantasia gets her words twisted in the media and that’s why she gets backlash.
If she’s happy and flourishing, why is she receiving backlash. This generation makes it as though it’s about the women’s happiness. So if Fantasia is happy and it works for her, why are y’all bitter. These morals have always been in the black communities and healthy black family households. Exactly! I told my ex this because he couldn’t understand why I was leaving. Point blank I said in a very honest moment “I can’t trust his lead” and he was confused by what I was saying.
