I'm doing more fruits and veggies too and limited sugar unless it's natural sugars that make a huge difference for me! I lost 5 pounds in one week! Praying that you feel better because I can relate. Sister Tab, you mentioned your hip pain. I felt led to encourage you to try yoga for your hip pain. Yoga has been a blessing for me and my hips. Also, I just recently heard a podcast that talked about how certain foods can cause joint pain. On the podcast, they mentioned how one lady found out the culprit of her hip pain was soy by eliminating it from her diet. I hope one or both of these ideas helps you. As stated, I felt led to share. OMG...you lost so much weight, look amazing. I used to weight a lot and my doctor said I was just a few points away from prediabetes and I changed my life immediately. This was in March of this year 2023. Dropped 30lbs, now I only eat fruits and raw vegetables. I love kale, seemed to be fond that particular vegetable which I eat raw, as well as, red cabbage. Love red cabbage takes so natural. I eat plenty of salads and my body has never felt this free and fresh in my life. It's a shame that my doctor had to tell me I was eating so many bad foods, but yet a blessing as a messenger. I have to start from somewhere. I' grown to love vegetables, fruits and kale.

My dad has an apple tree and he has to cage each apple as they start to grow. At the garden store they have small square cages that fit over fruit to prevent rodents from eating the fruit. But oh Lawd that's too much work.

I've never had a kale salad because I've been told of the hitter and toughness. But this makes me want to try one!! Thanks Tab!!!❤❤❤
I haven't experienced any bitterness. And you do have to massage it first with the olive oil to get rid of the toughness. But it's delicious though.
I never had it til about 3 years ago. Now I love it. Kale or spinach are my go to veggies. Lettuce is boring.
