- Yes. 6 Feb 2015 was the day I revealed this SCANiA R560 8x8 custom tow truck to the world, and almost a decade later - its as beautiful as the first day and works even better! Technology has come a long way.. and some pieces I have replaced have made this truck more user friendly to work on.. but I must say, what a work of Art, created by Greg Marsh and myself. He had a vision, and so did I - and both wanted to execute - Here we have a Scandinavian Tow Truck - wrecker style.

Hey Medic! I can see why you held onto this Beauty! We had a company that had Black and Green writing on them called Shorty's in MN! What a collaboration to build that back then, so Awesome! Can't wait to see the Big rigs out and about in videos!😉👍📹💯✔️👋👋👋👋
I saw this truck when the video first came out. I was in highschool at the time and into rc cars of the offroad and drift variety. But this build was an inspiration, at the time there was nothing else like it put up on such a popular channel for the world to see. This build has a special place in my mind and anytime I think of a scale truck it's the first thing that comes to mind. Hopefully one day I'll get the time and funds to spare to get back into rc and hopefully bring some mates into the hobby and hopefully try our hands at scale crawlers and trucks

I don’t know what to say one. It is very intimidating. But on the other hand, someone was a genius that built it. I am very impressed by it. Would love to see it with my own eyes. This video caught my attention because I am building my own, one tent, scale, off-road wrecker!!!

Hey dude don't stress there is actually a Scania tow truck like this in the UK it has lots of bright reflective graphics but it's base colour is black! Have seen it a few times over the years! That is very cool matey!

So that super crazy scale stuff is not for me but I can still appreciate that build. It’s crazy the amount of detail and work that went into it. After doing something like that, and experiencing something like that, what are your thoughts in general today? Do we have it to easy? Where is the hobby going, etc.

love your stuff my dude but if extend that little wheel grid out away from the main underlift it will rotate and you wont drop the load. use rubber bands to secure it
