These new Couine Marie are still equipped with our historical Double Layer PVC technology thermo-welded on the outside, with all its advantages of rigidity and solidity. Nothing better to protect your Board from aggressions. What changes is the Dropstitch itself.
What we call Woven Dropstitch is the heart of the Inflatable Board, which constitutes the inner dynamics of the Board. The Dropstitch threads that give the thickness of the Board are no longer aligned vertically but crossed at different angles, forming oblique struts that are cleverly distributed to balance each other. This concept gives much more rigidity to the whole. In addition, the fibers are spread out instead of being cylindrical. This mesh is therefore tighter and more homogeneous. All this brings much more rigidity using less material.
This optimized weave therefore makes it possible to considerably lighten the material, without altering its qualities.
Ces nouvelles Couine Marie sont toujours dotées de notre technologie historique double couche de PVC thermo soudée à l'extérieur, avec tous ses avantages de rigidité et de solidité. Rien de mieux pour protéger votre planche des agressions. En revanche, ce qui change, c'est le Dropstitch lui-même.
Ce que l'on appelle le Woven Dropstitch, c'est le coeur de la planche gonflable, ce qui fait la dynamique intérieure de la planche. Les fils de Dropstitch qui donnent l’épaisseur de la planche ne sont plus alignés verticalement mais croisés avec différents angles, formant ainsi des jambes de force obliques et réparties intelligemment pour s’équilibrer. Ce concept donne beaucoup plus de rigidité à l’ensemble. De plus, les fibres sont étalées au lieu d'être cylindriques. Ce maillage est donc plus serré et homogène. Tout cela apporte beaucoup plus de rigidité en utilisant moins de matière.
Ce tissage optimisé permet donc d’alléger considérablement le matériau, sans altérer ses qualités.
