Enjoyable and relaxing walk despite the rain , and you had a great company with you 😎Jess was quite informative and nice to have along with you on this walk and as akways it was great to see so many nice looking places etc in London🙂Thank you for sharing A K and Jess🙂👍!!!
That was a beautiful walk with Jess through London! I felt like I was right there with you two. That was so immersive. I've never felt so connected to a city before until this video. Something Magical about London! Thanks for sharing this amazing experience AK! ☺
Hi AK Ken and hope your enjoying the afternoon with the lovely lady who is of local knowledge.good to be accompanied with person who is interested in your tours' and WOW Ken she is pretty.
watching All your London streams was very enjoyable, I have the chance to see all the beautiful places in London, Jess seems to be very information she had a lot of knowledge about London, Thank you for always sharing more great content AK, Keep safe always,
16:48 The Burlington Arcade is like a hidden gem adorned with Christmas decorations! 😍 It was nice to see Central London during the daytime, despite the rain. This was an enjoyable and informative walk with Jess, and cool to know she's a former New Yorker living in London. 😃 Thank you for sharing this stroll with Jess, AK! 🤗🎄
Very nice walk with Jess despite raining cats and dogs. It's been quite a while since i've been to Soho.During the 60's there was a lot of cracking down on crime there, it's a much better place nowadays.
No, November is typically 51 - 62 Fahrenheit. But it is the month that the grey skies hit and rain appears :( December is drier and then grey and wet again in Jan/Feb. I love when March comes around, with all the green and flowers!!!
Anyone arriving in London and encountering rain like this is advised to spend the day at one of our indoor attractions, such as the British Museum or the V&A!
Great guest! I checked out Jess’es channel when I was planning my trips to London too. I wonder if you’re going to have Geoff Marshall (the London rail fan) as a guest sometime! 😊
Im in Canada. and I'm a bit of a nerd. in anticipation of an upcoming trip to London a few years ago, I designed an excel spreadsheet graph to compare the daily temperature and humidity between Ottawa Canada and London. Interesting data, London did win, hands down, in the humidity category lol.
I can't believe you met and walked with one of my favorite UA-camrs Jess from Love and London. Been following her channel for some time now. Every time I go to London I wish I can bump into Jess, or Hannah Ricketts a wonderful vlogger and Tom the Taxi Driver and a few others too. Great people In London who do UA-cam walks around London and other areas too. How did you get to meet her AK ??
I heard also, that the reason Piccadilly is called a circus originally was because of how busy and crazy it was , and also the roundabout kind of thing in the middle of it (circle/circus)
A circus has actually had the meaning of roundabout (in the UK, at least) since _before_ (early 18th century) it had its most common present-day meaning (a spectacle), which it acquired in the _late_ 18th century.
Hello again from Two Bridges. This is a fine trip you are showing so much. I would like to come for a 3rd visit (toward Spring next year) after all these years. Would have to figure out cost. Getting $ together to leave NYC is a bigger goal.
The distinctive red lanterns were originally set up for the Chinese New Year celebrations and then taken down. However, they were loved by the local people and tourists, and so the Chinese Traders Association decided to keep them on display permanently. @AK, you must come back one year for the Chinese New Year celebrations. There is usually a big program of events in Chinatown and Trafalgar Square that weekend. Hope you like big crowds as the place becomes packed with visitors!!!😀
Nice tour. But not use stereo mode in pocket? the 2 mics is in the same channel, for me. If use 2 mics in stereo, maybe have a more immersive sensation, im think.
According to a Google search, it rains 165 days a year in London with average of 23 inches per year spread out evenly across the year. NYC gets twice as much rain in inches, but only 129 days of rain.
Thanks for the info! I double checked and the source I read said 165 days rain, 200 days no rain so I updated my comment above. But I think they count 0.25 mm or more as a rainy day, which is not much at all.
so the last time I was there, in 2019, behind the pretty neon lights of that corner of Piccidilly Circus, was just a facade. Just a fake wall with scaffolding behind it. I hoped, in anticipation of some future building. So, is it a completed building now or just a facade behind the lights?
AK ask her to accompany you to the Saint Paul's Cathedral. The resting place of ADMARAL NELSON. The largest funeral in London reputed to be attended by more people than the Royal funerals themselves in 1805.
Is it really so much of a surprise that there’s so much NYC influence there at least in the way of the shops and restaurants? When I think about it makes sense, since there’s so many New Yorkers flying there and Vice versa and they’re both the biggest cities in their respective countries.
I would have put Selfridges before Fortnum & Mason. Never heard of Fortnum & Mason and I've lived here all my life and my family go back thousands of years in England. I'm sure it's just an oversight from me and it is well known but never heard of it.
I'm so confused as to why Jess didn't take you to Carnaby Street, it was opposite Mayfair. To be honest, I just don't like central, as there are way better boroughs in London but Carnaby, Fitzrovia, Mayfair and Seven Dialls are a good shout, if you are visiting Central/the West End!
That is not how educated Americans speak, Sara. I am a retired American teacher. Please, " like, you know, like, I'm all, like, and he's like", learn a variety of verbs that describe what you wish to convey. I had to stop watching. Upspeak inflection is cringeworthy. I will never get "used to it".@@saratemp790
Thank you Jess for showing Actionkid London from the viewpoint of a Londoner.
Indeed! ❤
Yes, Jess was an amazing guest and she sure knows her way around London
I love how you mentioned the bun video. I’ll never get over that occurrence! lol
Omg I love her. I watched her videos prior to visiting London last year!

Love rainy walks. Nice one and cool to feature Love and London
Much appreciated, thanks for watching!
My father was from east London that was the rough tuff part of London,it was our equivalent to your lower East side
The perfect thing about this walk is --- no crowds !!!!
Beautiful city
The mall at 17:35 reminds me of Diagon alley. :). A newer and more covered version! lol
Very nice walk with Jess despite raining cats and dogs. It's been quite a while since i've been to Soho.During the 60's there was a lot of cracking down on crime there, it's a much better place nowadays.
That was fun. I just subscribed to her channel. She reminded me of a brunette Gwyneth Paltrow for some reason:-) 🧚♀
55 Fahrenheit: is that warm? for November? Loved seeing this!
No, November is typically 51 - 62 Fahrenheit. But it is the month that the grey skies hit and rain appears :(
December is drier and then grey and wet again in Jan/Feb.

London looks really beautiful. I hope to go visit one day.
You should!

Great video guys 👌

Don’t forget about Geoff Marshall, my favourite London UA-camr who does a lot of videos about the London Tube and other rail lines.
@@TransCanadaPhil Not familiar with him I don't think but I will have to check him out ! Thanks for the tip !
Oh yes Geoff, I saw his video this morning on the new Piccadilly Line trains being tested !!
Try doing a tour of Kensington palace gardens. The wealthiest street in the world.
Went there on my honeymoon in September 1971 and it was raining then too.

Go and have some cream tea until it stops raining 😊 in the Ritz

lovely tour of london
New York City 🌆 needs to stop knocking down all their iconic old architecture buildings for new ones London has so many iconic Architecture buildings
Agreed London has so many historical buildings!
Nice tour. But not use stereo mode in pocket? the 2 mics is in the same channel, for me. If use 2 mics in stereo, maybe have a more immersive sensation, im think.

Yes, you get a rain cloud that will last 10 minutes and then it's fine for the rest of the day. I actually liked the weather when I lived there. LOL
According to the Met Office it rains on average 106 days a year in London. Anything over 1mm of rain counts.
Thanks for the info! I double checked and the source I read said 165 days rain, 200 days no rain so I updated my comment above. But I think they count 0.25 mm or more as a rainy day, which is not much at all.
NYC actually gets more rainfall than london on a annual basis. London just has much more dark and gloomy days with the constant threat of rain.
Good to know!

AMAZING VIDEO

I though she would say that her fv part of London is Chinatown

Very nice
Me encanta
Hope you visit Winter Wonderland now open in Hyde Park
Omg i know her i follow her
At 10:26 you walk past Cordings menswear store, part-owned by Eric Clapton.
good looking footage. does the camera need to be re-calibrated? its slanting. still good looking stuff!
Princess Kate!😉👸👑
13:29 Selfridges?
Come to NZ we have all seasons in one day 😂
O no you've walked straight past saville row, my god that's a crime
Two UA-camrs and I know them both. A first!
Nice to see no protestors. Our family Christmas trip has been canceled due to the protesters. Thankful that we spent last Christmas in London.
You need to go to the back of fortnums to Germain street and then the arcade
Nice bro .cool man
😅14 hours 😢 ❤
What’s 14 hours?
So Fed up with the Rain this year .think the Atlantic ocean is trying to turn Britain into the Modern day Atlantis !
welcome to you shanghai
It's been a wet year
SAUCE = Black Pepper sauce with udon?

Fortnum & Mason is more upmarket. Selfridges has more widely available items but F&M is selective, shall we say.
@@AM-dz2sh Thanks for the verification. Says a lot about Love and London. She must have a good few quid in her bank to put them higher :D

MG Cars = now Chinese owned!
When will you come to China to record a video?
Hi
hello
Ad breaks literally every 5 minutes made this one unwatchable
That’s UA-cam for you
She's pretty but I can't stand her jargon: Upspeaking at the end of every sentence, "way better" instead of "much better", ubiquitous usage of "like".
That's how we speak now in America. Get used to it.
