this fix worked perfectly for me! The fuel gauge now works again!... can't thank you enough.
Yeah! And if you run into same problem again, it will be the same fix
Mercedes vehicles (around this age) have a few issues that are easy fixes like this. Kudos to doing the research, HBG. Most Benz owners don't do the deep dives that we do, so, they get rid of their Mercs on the cheap. Lucky us, right?😅😁😎
You are right, so I see that trend on the forums also. Most people take the car to the shop. But then depending on if they want to do it themselves or take it to a shop
Such a simple fix and worked straight away on my 2002 ML270, thanks for this 👍🏻
Glad that helped!
I appreciate your willingness to share this simple, easy fix. Thank you!!!!
No problem!
Bro thank you so much. Was at the pump yesterday filling up and when I started my car afterwards it stayed at E! Luckily this video helped me get it working, appreciate you man!
No problem 👍
Can anyone tell me where is this fuse located to a w220 2001 amg(S55 ) model i have the same problem with my gas gauge
You think it would be the same fix on 2006 c55 amg my car was at have tank of gas now it’s full every time I turn on the car
It has a half tank but shows full tank
Send like It’s your fuel pump housing leveler is not reading correct
I'll try that later today on my 2000 ml55
TC in Annapolis Maryland
Yea that should solve your issue is you are having them issue
Thank you men❤
You are welcome by bro!
I think your CEL is not lit up when switching on the car, is that correct?
Not that I know off?
2008 Mercedes Benz 350 4 matic fuel gauge don’t work can u help
I don’t know if that’s different or the same as the ML. I have never worked on a 2008 Benz 350
Ty
Welcome
Thanks! Worked instantly
Glad it worked 🤘🏾
This only worked for like 60 secs then the gauge went back down...17 gle350 here.....any other tips?
Was it with a full tank of gas? If it was the fuel sending unit float lever is probably worn out and would need replaced
But if the fuse was bad/broken, woudnt EVERYTHING on the cluster not show or work?
Nahh that fuse if i can remember is only for the fuel gauge could be wrong
@@HeyboysGarage Hey, I just got my car scanned and checked out.. It was the Fuel Pump fuse that needed changing
Will this work on e350 w212 pre facelift?
Is that a common issue on those cars, I dont see why not to try this on yours if you are having the same issue
Is this in a 2006 ml350
2002 ML55
You talk alot
Sometimes! 😂
This didn't work for me
I’m not sure then. Did you have a full tank trying to do it?
@@HeyboysGarage I did it with both full and empty. I've replace the fuel pump twice before finding this video. It was working before replacing it the first time. The fuel float for the gauge is on the pump. One thing I didn't get to see in your video was the gauge before the fix with the engine on. My gauge reads zero with no low fuel light when the engine is on.
@@MikeCampSucksFatDick it’s the fuel float then, something is blocking it from moving when filling the tank. I’m sure you installed it properly to cause that issues but that’s what it sounds like
@@HeyboysGarage I only came to find another solution because I confirmed that the float is working property inside the tank. Something coming to me right now do you think I need to clean the contacts to the electrical plug maybe fuel got on it
@@MikeCampSucksFatDick yea try that, not sure what else to do
