  • This is a fairly uncut video with the original sound of our penetration into the Heian Maru's engine room. We located a cranium sitting on top of the engine. This is a controlled penetration by skilled divers with a lot of experience and a guide. The GoPro was attached to a DSLR camera, so it is not always pointed in the direction of travel. It shows why you need to have the proper training, experience, and remain calm while making this kind of a dive. Enjoy!

1:22 Periscopes ( spare parts for the submarines of the Japanese Navy ) There is one Submarine nearby to the I-169 ( one of the longest or the longest at that time .) Loved diving all the wrecks there and cant wait to go back someday after seeing your video, greets from The Netherlands !

while yes, most of these wreckages are tombs. Even the Sea Diamond in his quite controlled sinking and evacuation took 2 tourists with it to the depths of the Santorini Caldera

One of the divers was scolded for trying to pick up that cranium. The diver explained "I was just trying to get ahead..."

Yeah, I gotta say don’t think I would be penetrating any wreck without a line and two maybe Truk is pretty warm but full neoprene wet suit is not about warmth. It’s about protection from elements such as a jagged deck rail or broken floor deck.

Yeah I wouldn't dive in a old rusty ship in just shorts and a singlet need full protection I don't need lock jaw

She was sank on 18 February 1944. Part of Operation Hailstone - 18 of the crew went down with her.
