2:16:56 reminded me of a time in class. Okay, so I’m a nerd. Alright? I did nerd things in a nerd class, and one of these things was to conceptualize a brand new type of cup holder that’d prevent a drink from spilling. (Mine was a gyroscope because I’m just a nerd) and then these two guys came up and did a hilariously outlandish idea about a hover/rocket cup holder with a screen and just a bunch of other random features… and they called it the icup. Of course they didn’t realize the door they had opened for me by naming it that, their joke was meant to be “oh wow a crazy expensive and fancy product like what apple might make”, but I saw the opportunity and seized it. Once they were done with their long spiel they had to answer at least three questions (it was just mandatory for the assignment) and I had the luck of being the first one picked. So of course my question was, “how exactly do you spell that?” Oh it was such a stupid joke but man did I feel proud.
@@skuffedd2868 Its just sad to miss all live streams, it's great having them here, if the guys would upload their full stream then sure, but as long as they dont I dont really see the harm, didn't Jarvis say he thought it was fine at one point?
Why would a woman who looks like a woman and is presented as such *in every way* need to tell us her pronouns are she/her upon meeting? Really, what is the reason? This would only be convenient to be told pronouns if the person *looks ambiguous* in their gender. (And if the person is trans, or whatever, ok-- if you look like a 'she,' you'll be called a she. And if masculine, you'll be called he. Why the emphasis when it's obvious?)
I mean it's not inconvenient to say so either. Also some people don't want to assume even if it's obvious and it can help people who look ambiguous feel more comfortable stating their pronouns. It takes nothing and can be helpful to people
Because just because someone who is considered “feminine” looking that doesn’t mean that that person goes by she/her. They could be non-binary, or a demi-girl or a plethora of other genders that aren’t “obvious”.
not everyone who presents more femininely or masculine will use the pronouns she or he the way you expect :,) someone very physically feminine might actually go by he/him, so it's good to be sure (and convenient)
god damn that first dhar man video is more meta than the scream movies
