I don't know if the french sub have taken liberty, but in the sub it implies that the bug want to kill kaijus, not just kill, but kill kaijus. The japanese and english sub seem more vague on that.

On Ani-One Asia here on UA-cam where I watched this, also translate it as "kill the kaiju". In Japanese, it is subject followed by verb, so, kaiju (wo) korosei, can be translated as "kill the kaiju".

Jus so u know he going berserk cuz to the kaiju in kafka sees the general as kaiju.no2 cuz of the gear
The kaiju in kafka hates all other kaiju’s and will eliminate them all basically like Godzilla keeping control and is the king of monsters
So kaiju.no 8’s senses are saying its kaiju.no 2 infront of him and will kill it
