Double pivot CM CDM: Macca or TAA & Endo or Grav
Three behind striker RM, CAM, LM: Szobo or Jota, Mo or Elliot, Gakpo or Diaz
Forward: Nunez or Danns or Jota
ofc Mr Slot can have other ideas in who plays where may be Szobo be the one behind striker Salah stays on the right or Macca moves up from the double pivot, or Elliot goes right or Jota goes left or up front

We hear LFC are looking to sign a left footed center back who can play as left back too, makes perfect sense, cover for VVD and Robertson, we also hear of another DM to take over from Endo sometimes, also makes sense, talks about some winger in the style that Arne prefers he gotta be able to track back well, also makes sense with how injuries affect Jota's availability and the chances of a sudden Mo move
I don't think there will be more first team transfers "in" beside these 3, if done that is
reckon Tsimikas will leave this summer, this would make the transfer of a left footed defender top priority

Selling Salah this summer would be our biggest mistake. We must extend his contract asap. He should stay at LFC until 2027. Heaps of wages are already clear after departures of Thiago & Matip. I think if we offer the same wages to him for 3 more years, he will accept it.

@@Troykingkloppforever There is no one who can replace him currently. Mo Salah's g/a has improved in the last couple of seasons, despite him slowing down post AFCON. He is physically capable of playing 3-4 years at the same level & produce the same numbers at Liverpool. He is not leaving.

My point is that nothing is certain in football, but the likelihood of Mo Salah flopping next season is negligible as compared to the likelihood of him scoring 30-35 goals & providing 15-20 assists next season, because of the past 7 years.

Good idea,but it begs the question of who is fast and clinical enough ,also accurate enough with their crossing and passing to take Salahs place on the right wing if Salah moves to the 10 position.

We came in 3rd because of Salah last season… we didn’t become 1 because of Nunez, Diaz, and the other strikers…. Without Salah, we would have placed bottom 10.

Would Salah be a better option as the AM in Slot's 4-2-3-1 with a new right winger signed to hug the touch line & spread the opposition back 4 to break point? With Trent continuing to be the inverted RB plus with Salah less & less running in behind preferring thr ball to his feet. Salah would probably be better suited to being the no 10 with somebody like Bakayoko or Sane coming in on the right wing?
here is how I see it. there are 2 options: Option 1, Liverpool offer salah a 1-year extension with no pay rise asnd he signs it, no questions asked or option 2: Liverpool sell Salah. Choosing neither of these is not an option I could live with and neither should Liverpool. Salah is not Joel Matip or Thiago. He doesn't get to walk out the door for nothing like Bobby Firmino did. If Liverpool allow Salah to leave for nothing I don't know what to say
Those who hate on Salah this season are stupid. Yes he was in bad form but every player has bad form eventually, Salah is still a major threat in the final 3rd. It would be foolish to let Salah go now, scoring 18 goals this season is enough too carry on just need to improve the rest of the team for scoring more goals he can't do it alone any more.

Is it though? All transfer decisions are a gamble, you could sell Salah and bring in players who do not have the impact you expected! Will Salah continue to contribute over the next 3 years value for that level of transfer fee, maybe, he certainly did over the last 3 years. Not everything is black and white. You must see the value that having Mo Salah here adds in attracting other talent to the club. You must see the value to our younger players training day in and day out with a model pro like Salah.

Nunez prefers the left but Szobo and Elliott could play right. Even Diaz or Jota technically could but you'd want Jota further up and Diaz cutting in
