how cute, everything comes out gently tapping with such small hammer! 😂
Then people really think it's so easy! In reality, 12 minutes are enough just to lift the car, to take off one wheel and to start removing the 36mm nut of the hub, nothing more.

Thank you for the feedback! This video is considered to be an informative one, and it shows the sequence of repairs, so some stages of the repairs might have been excluded. Best regards, Autodoc.

If you saying that is for information of sequence why not showing that other side weel should be removed and anti roll bar should be disconnected is well?

@@jurijlebedev5373 It is enough to remove the screws of the wishbone itself... first take out the suspension joint wheel side. When reassembling the suspension joint after fitting the wishbone on the subframe.
But, the surfaces must be clean. Not like in the video, where everywhere the dirt crumbles out when mounting.
But, it is just as easy as shown!

Which manufacturer's socket is it, 36mm?

This would be a great tutorial if it showed everything that is required to complete the job.
The tutorial should have been extended to include the removal of the off side drop link, the disconnecting of the upper ball joint to facilitate the replacement of the bottom suspension fork and a lot of other difficult tasks not included in the video.
It should have run for about two hours, not 11 minutes.
Also tapping with a hammer that size is a misrepresentation of the forces required to remove the lower ball joint. Ball joint cracker and liberal application of heat is closer to the truth. Follow it with some trepidation

Thank you for your feedback! Our tutorials are aimed to show the parts replacement sequence, without actually focusing on the whole process. The reason for it is because this process usually depends on a lot of different factors, such as the initial state of the vehicle and the old part itself. Which, in some cases, can lead to unpredictable issues while replacing the part. That is why we always recommend using the professional workshop service to get them covered correctly. Best Regards, Autodoc Team.

it´s nearly criminal, not securing the central-nut of the drive-shaft, but thats autodoc style ... ignoring saftey & relevance

Suspension of your car model may have minor differences, but the working principle is the same. Best regards, Autodoc.

if only it was this easy in real life! Try doing it without a lift, no clearance to use an impact wrench underneath. Rusted and seized bolts. I've spent all afternoon trying to do this and the tapered nut on the hub side will not come out, snapped a forged ball joint removal tool. Will end up using a grinder to cut it off! I really do hate working on this car, nothing is simple as they are prone to rust and shear off bolts! lovely to drive but will never own another one!

David Dixon, no more difficult or easy than anything else - I seem to remember bolts snapping etc on other cars I've owned.

green grass yes it's not the only car but Alfa's don't have a bad reputation for nothing. Just had to change wheel bearings which was a nightmare too with badly rusted/corroded blots and hubs never know a car like it for rust

but yes, this particular job is a real pig, I got stuck half way through and ended up calling a mobile mechanic to finish it off, but it would not stop me getting another.

Great video, so clear and informative. If you have time, a how to on replacement of the cv joint would be great. I have a 3.2L GT and they look very similar.
