So I see you have put down mulch for your fairy garden. I still have to do that, but I'd like to ask what it is you do to protect your garden from the rain. Last year I didn't put the mulch down and spent the entire season with a paint brush meticulously brushing the dirt off. But I'd love to know how and if you protect yours. Really cute pieces!!! So funny story, I set up my fairy garden in the back of a flower bed and completely forgot about the black eyed susans that pop up every year there. Where I'm at, black eyed susans quickly take over EVERYTHING! So I set up my fairy garden, and about two weeks later it was hidden by the forest of flowers. So I wasn't able to enjoy my fairy garden last year as much as I'd hoped 😆
Having said that, I tried to use items that could survive the rain (wood, rocks, etc.) and I do think the mulch minimized how much dirt splashed up on the fairy garden when it rained. Hope this helps!

@@CraftersAutonomous hahahahaha Funny about the black eyed susan! I have a hosta and day lily that are getting split. Wayyyyyyyyyy too big for what I want. I've ut petunias in that bed for colour but the danged squirrels, mice and rabbits eat them. Soooo this year I'm putting in a bunch of dusty miller (light green leaves with fuzz).But I need a partner floral to go with that that the animals won't eat them.

im unablie to use a hot glue gun at the moment is there another way to make the sign?
Super glue or a waterproof/weatherproof wood glue might be good options!
